I don’t give a damn 'Bout my bad reputation I’ve never been afraid of any deviation An’ I don’t really care If ya think I’m strange I ain’t gonna change An’ I’m never gonna care 'Bout my bad reputation
"Are you threatening me?"
"Oh, no, no. I just wanted to be clear. If you’re going to be in my waters, you follow my rules. That seems fair, now doesn’t it?"

Marchy may be the Mad March Hare, but he can use logic to outsmart anyone, when he wishes to. He can use illogic too, though, and getting in an argument with him will likely drive one insane.

{Sorry for the sporadic behavior and the lack of replies/starters today, guys. I've been studying for a midterm I have tomorrow and have really only been on during my little breaks. But I promise that as soon as I'm done with the test and back home, I'll get onto doing all that jazz.
That includes the headcanons you lovelies have sent in and the ask that the anon sent from last night.}
song of the sea || ichabod & ariel
It was common sense, living so close to the Enchanted Forest, to believe in magic. Ichabod had never seen magic demonstrated with his own eyes, but he and the other villagers of Sleepy Hollow knew that it existed as well as anyone else.
And with magic, of course, came things like ghouls, and ghosts, and witches, and other various things that went bump in the night. Ichabod was no fool, and always kept a cautious eye, a careful stride -- he never let black cats cross his path, never spilled salt, never broke mirrors, kept to the rules of superstition as anyone should in a world like this, always for fear of being on the wrong end of a wand.
It was only after much internal debate and a heated argument with Brom that he left Sleepy Hollow in search of said magic. It had been a week, and so far, he'd been quite out of luck. He was tired, hungry, and living off of the hospitality of the families and homes he'd run into along his way. It was growing dark out, and he stopped along the seaside to rest his tired feet, perching atop a rock and looking half longingly out over the seas.
