Hey, my name is Nadine Wienzek and I‘m 20 years old. I study psychology and management at the ISM in Dortmund. In my free time I love to dance. I dance for 17 years and it is still a big part of my life. I really enjoy show dance. I love to tell a story by dancing - the costumes and make up, the facial expressions and gestures, the acting and movements - just impressing. The moment you stand on the stage in front of a bunch of people is the moment when you realize what you’ve been working on for the last few months and years.
Hello, my name is Annika Hohmann and I am 20 years old. At the moment I am studying Tourism and Event Management at the International School of Management in Dortmund. I am spending most of my free time in the dance school near my hometown. 2012 I started visiting this dancing school as a student and began with contemporary dance. As the time passed, I started more classes like Broadway Jazz, Ballet and High Heels Dance. 2020 my dancing teacher asked me if i wanted to start giving classes myself. I was very happy about that and right now I am teaching four different classes of kids dancing. Personally, dance didn’t only teach me how to move my body and do different choreography's, it also gave me a lot of confidence and i got to know great people, which i now call my best friends. For me dancing is having fun and connecting with different people who share this passion, and that makes it such a great and special hobby.
Hey, my name is Sofia Gulielmos. I am half Greek half German, but what really makes me what I am is dance. I started dancing before I was even able to walk. My passion started at 4 years old when I took my first ballet lesson. From that moment I knew, that is where I am meant to be. Over the years I have changed many different dance styles, from Ballet to Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Latin, Dance Hall, and Reggaeton. In the hardest times of my life, dance was always there for me. With being bilingual and growing up in two countries, it is difficult to know where you are really from, but with dance, no matter where I am, I am always home! Dance definitely showed me, that it doesn't care, it allows me to be myself and express myself in a way that only I can. The beat of the music, is what keeps my heartbeat going, and the movement in my dancing, is what keeps me moving on in life!
Hey, my name is Noah Kolodziej. I don’t really have any experience in professional dancing, but I always had a passion for dancing at home. And seeing others enjoying themselves and losing their grip to reality just by dancing, showed me how much of an impact it can have on one’s life. This started my interest in looking deeper into the matter and my journey of dance.
