Hi, welcome to the bar. Feel free to order, hangout, or loom in a corner if that's what you do. Everyone is welcome here and it is open to all age groups. Enjoy and have fun!
Hello and welcome! My name is Harper and I am the owner and bartender of this fine establishment. This bar is a little bit different as it is a dry bar since we don't sell alcohol, rather we sell you a little something else.
We here have found a way to liquidize emotions and serve them to you as drinks.
The point? If you are ever looking for a specific feeling we can either serve you something from our carefully crafted menu or you can request something specific (a specific list, a general vibe, you name it we can do it).
Some fine examples is the "Christmas at School" where we serve you Nostalgia, Childhood giddiness, hot cocoa, peppermint, and a mountain of marshmallows all in a paper cup so you can feel the saem way you did the week before holiday break where the teachers didn't know what to do with you.
Now feel free to order, hang out, ask questions, or just lurk and listen in on a story.
Welcome to the bar!
Look at the menu!
(The kitchen is currently under renovation and as such we cannot make any dishes, we apologize for the inconvenience.)
Hello there, my oh my. Let me check in the back, we always a few bottles of emotions that we didn't make a whole ton of, let me see if hope was one of them.
....
...
..
AHA we do happen to have some back here! Some interesting stuff back there, would you like it mixed with anything? Something sweet and kind perhaps?
Hello. What do you have to unemotionally constipate someone?
-Nastya (Crow's Count @mechsarchives )
Hmmmm, I imagine this is possibly for a friend?
Well let me see what I have here.
Well, those who are emotionally constipated typically don't like to address their feelings or talk about them possibly due to fear of rejection or judgement.
So the best blend would possibly something with safety, courage, and love.
We could make an adjusted "Emotionally Unavaible" to have instead of grief we can add in safety and love instead.
So it would be Courage, Safety, Love and sobriety mixed with a hazlenut creme, chocolate sauce and nuts for garnish.
Hello there, Harper. Can I get a bottle of security blanket? I've found it does lovely work when children wake from nightmares and I've found myself once again with a house quite full.
-Vivienne ( @alive-immortal )
Well hello there! Absolutely. Let me know how the little ones like it.
What do you best recommend for remembering someone? It's...been a long while.
-Tim (leg au, @mechsarchives )
Hmmm, depends on what you need friend.
If its someone you haven't seen in awhile but would like to remember them fondly so that the best memories of them come to mind
Perhaps a "One More Day" made with yearning and love mixed with vanilla creme base, blueberry syrup and a blue raspberry swirl. We'll remove the hopeless for now, seems like you need more of a pick me up rather than a downer.
Can I get a bottle of exhaustion? I've got a crew full of people who refuse to know what sleep is.
-Ashes (lesbian gun au @mechsarchives )
Hello there! Absolutely, would you like me to mix in a bit of safety in there as well that way they aren't their way into sleep and feel comfortable doing so?
I know some of the more stubborn headed ones might try to fight the tiredness away.
Oh that'd be just perfect. Stubborn crew they all are.
A week or so with them refusing sleep I can forgive, it happens, but a year of them all barely sleeping? Can't have that, it'll last decades if I let it.
