Our darling loves who have stuck by our sides;;

Thank you so much. As some of you know, I (Marina) am facing some medical problems that have gotten worse, and make things difficult. Aside from that, it seems Harpoole has come to an impasse. We have received many compliments about our improvements, gotten countless shout-outs, pushed the promo blog to it’s limits, conversed with RP helpers and respected members of the RPC, had, towards the end a week or so ago, been gaining record traction on the main- and just can’t understand why we aren’t gaining anymore interest.... and, you see--

Harpoole is a very old beauty. It is a town that has stood it’s ground for so very long. And truly, that’s all you can ask for from a Roleplay. So, we’ve asked ourselves- what happened? We know who’s at fault here... you know it, too... but, in all honesty, it doesn’t matter. We’ve conceded to the fact that all good things come to an end. 

I wouldn’t call this a good bye, though. More so a see you later. Consider Harpoole Bay RP on hiatus. Indefinitely on hiatus. This isn’t to say that one day it won’t come back. We may. We’d be happy to have HBRP come back. But, for now, it’s time to let it rest. Let it lay dormant till it’s time for it to come back, and rise like the mighty phoenix it is.

BIOGRAPHY: (tw: death)

Morgan grew up around death and she never saw anything wrong with it. Her mother passed away shortly after she was born due to infection and Morgan grew up with just her father and grandfather. Her father was a surgeon and her grandfather ran the funeral home the family lived in. Morgan’s father worked long hours and after his wife’s death he allowed work to swallow him whole leaving Morgan in the hands of her grandfather who loved her unconditionally.

Morgan would help her grandfather with the bodies as she grew up, going to school for premed to please her father. She didn’t want to be a doctor though. Morgan was always an awkward girl, she never knew the right words to say or the right way to act. She felt better with the dead. They didn’t judge her. They didn’t laugh at her like the kids in school. She had poor bedside manner and her teachers were constantly correcting her when it came to how she handled living people.

Morgan moved back to Harpoole a month ago when her grandfather passed away. She dropped out of her final year of medical school to tend to his body, refusing to let any other funeral correspondent touch him. She wanted to tend to him the way she knew he deserved, they way he would have wanted. It’s not a glorious job, it’s not a thankful job, but it’s the only job Morgan wants and it’s the job she’ll take over. For her grandfather.

PERSONALITY:

Morgan is awkward. She’s kind and friendly but she gets overwhelmed when she’s around people she finds attractive and says whatever pops in her mind, no matter how rude or forward it may be. She doesn’t know how to censor herself or her thoughts and so a lot of people avoided her in school. She likes reading and knows a little bit about everything from her eclectic reading habits. She wants friends though but sometimes comes on a little strong and needy. She’s got a good heart she’s just a little funny.

This guy is Ella’s first boyfriend, they were sweet and cared about each other and were everything someone would describe as a couple that “makes you want to barf from cute”. They met in her first year of high school (up to you if he was a senior or whatever). When Ella first got into drugs he joined her, but quickly dropped out when he realized just how heavily she was taking them, this resulted in a big fight and their eventual break up. Now that Ella is starting to be on the mend, will he come and help her? Or will he come and make her feel ten times worse? Leading her back down that part of despair and ruin?
