everyone is asking me if i am okay. i don't know how to answer them. first of all i should explain why they are asking me that. i used to play satine on moulin rouge broadway. i would come in and out all the time for a few weeks and i always had the opition to, but you see moulin rouge is closing next month, so if do return to moulin rouge like mr aaron tveit it will be the last time. to me it's the end of an era and i don't know how to compress it yet. now that you know whats going on inside me i will introduce myself. i am ashley loren anderson, but i go by ashley loren. i have been in a few broaway shows and also been carly rae jepsens background singer. i love dogs and cats, okay i love all animals really. oh and love gummy bears and wine. if you want to know more about me just ask i am an open book.

it feels like the end of something really special, and for you it's so much more than just a show closing. it's years of memories, people, routines, and a character that's been such a big part of your life, so i don't think there's a "right" way to process something like that, and you definitely don't have to have all the answers yet. just take it day by day and whenever you feel like it, let those close to you in on it and share your emotions. nice to meet you, though. i'm harriet, i'm an actress, much more of a dog person. pretty sure you're the first person i come across who loves both. gummy bears aren't really my kind of sweet treat of choice, i'm more of a chocolate girl. but i'm definitely with you when it comes to wine. what are your plans for after wrapping 'moulin rouge' ?

i was recently in new york city and when i landed, i noticed i had completely forgotten to pack my tried and true perfume. it's so serious to me that if i'm not walking around smelling like it, you should definitely check on me. so, i went to this busy sephora to get it, which was of course place next to a gym. would you believe i spotted my soulmate walking out of the gym the minute i left sephora? did i do anything about it? no, i was busy figuring out how to close my mouth from the awe. and alas, he got away. still thinking about him though. you think i could ever recover? @limelightblvdstarters

nope, hate to be the one to say it, but i'm pretty sure you'll never recover. like you just let your soulmate walk away like that ? insane. your brain will go over that again and again at three am when you're trying to sleep. kidding, partly. how did you know he was your soulmate though ? like was it the vibe ? the pretty face ? the way his body was build ? i need more information here. because we could always do one of those tiktok search hunts. "looking for that pretty man who left the gym right next to sephora yesterday at approximately 3pm. my friend thinks you're cute. please help us find him."

a seven out of ten? that's brutal. here i was thinking i'd done alright, only to find out i was apparently missing my best accessory. i'll admit, though, the carpet did feel a bit emptier without you there to steal half the attention. i had to do all the heavy lifting by myself, and frankly, it was exhausting. the whole thing was a lot of fun, though. i met the guys from "my fault: london"... you would've loved it. things are definitely more fun when you're around. i'm taking a break, whether it's needed i'll let people decide, i'd like to think i needed it. now it's your turn. tell me about this role that's got you in a funk. i know you well enough to know you're probably being much harder on yourself than anyone else would be, and i'd much rather hear you talk yourself out of it than let you sit there convincing yourself you're not brilliant. i saw the pink hair, by the way, looking as good as ever!

you know what, a seven out of ten might sound brutal and i would've pushed it to an eight if you would've actually admitted that you missed me. but you were just dancing around the word talking about the carpet feeling emptier and having to do all the heavy lifting by yourself, so we'll stick to the seven. you're right, i would've loved getting to meet them. did you leave a great impression so the next time our paths cross and i'm actually around they'll still be willing to talk to us ? are you taking a break for real though ? or are you locked in your apartment, studying some medical stuff ? yeah, you're right. but i just can't help it. the character's so complicated and full of so many different facets and emotions, every day on set is so intense. i don't know, i just really wanna do her justice. it's been a lot, you know. and i'm not complaining, i think i'm just so used to having my safe people like you or runa around me when going through the intense stuff. this might be the much needed wake-up call i've been dreading. thanks for supporting my pink hair hailey b era, though. think i've had my shawn that i dumped, now waiting for my justin.

i saw on instagram that you dyed your hair pink, and i've got to tell you, it makes you look like even more of a star then you already do. i don't think i could ever pull off a funky hair color, and definitely not according to my daughters. ezer would probably tell me to act my age. there's nothing like a seven year old putting you in your place. i've heard this once or twice before but coming from the bear himself ? now i'm truly about to enter my "i'm a star" phase. thanks for the confidence boost. ezer might tell you to act your age, but secretly she'll think you're the coolest dad out there if you would rock a funky hair color. or at least her friends would think so and then she'd have to either go "ew, that's my dad" or agree with them. i'm voting for the latter, just because i now wanna see you with a funky hair color. what would you go for ? purple strands ? green because you're into rock'n'roll ? black ? i'm so invested now, i might even accompany you to your barber if i've got the time.

well, it's not every day and it's not always random most of the time it's the same one or two over and over again. it's typically just one random jingle or theme song from some random show that i used to watch all the time. it happens. but it's worse when it happens at work as opposed to when i'm in the middle of work, in the middle of a scene, and suddenly the only lines that come to my mind are the ones from a television jingle. that's pretty close to hearing a jingle or something. is it always the narrator of medical detectives? you get down with the disturbing shit too? girl! i have a tendency to fall asleep to crime show documentaries or things of that sort so i know exactly what you mean!

okay, what are you brain's two favorite jingles of all time then ? and if you tell me the "friends" theme doesn't make it, we can't be friends. cue ariana's song right after you turn me down and tell me it's the walmart ad and the "gilmore girls" theme. which, i would put in my top five too, so i couldn't even blame you. yes, always the narrator of "medical detectives". i know netflix is pretty good with narrators for true crime too, but nothing beats him. right ? dozing off to someone getting brutally murdered and people investigating it in the background is a ten out of ten. wouldn't wanna have it any other way. because if i'd stay awake during these doc's, i might end up double locking my door and going to bed with a knife in my hand.

i hate that i've missed the obsession fest thanks to my filming schedule, because it looked like such a good time. and while i loved all the content i've gotten to see and the shoutout with you excusing my no-show ― thanks for that, by the way ― i can't help but rate your overall appearance only a seven out of ten. because it clearly showed that you were missing a certain someone. i might be biased, but your smile is clearly brighter when you've got your arm wrapped around me walking those carpets. anyway, tell me all about it so i can vividly live through it. and then tell me what you've been up to lately. aside from missing me, obviously. because i'm in a funk here with my new role and any distraction is greatly appreciated. / @damianhcrdung

i recently got together with some of my friends and they brought their little cousins along to hang out with us. she was pretty much babysitting her cousins so we figured why not bring them with us. mind you her cousins are ten and eleven. i haven't hung out with children before so this was very new to me, but i had such a fun time hanging out with them. we went to target and bought them this cardboard ice cream truck, which i was very amused by because why the fuck didn't i have this growing up? anyways, once we put the cardboard ice cream truck together, one of my friend's cousins gave me a fake wallet with fake credit cards and i told her i wanted to buy her ice cream truck.. she told me i was broke and all my cards declined.. i tell you kids and their imaginations always find a way to pull at my heartstrings. @limelightblvdstarters

not the ten year old hitting you with the "all your cards declined" before you even made it to checkout. she really said "ma'am, we're not extending you any credit today because we know you're a broke ass bitch, please call your bank." also, i'm with you on the cardboard ice cream truck because where was that when we were kids ? i swear children's toys have gotten infinitely cooler. i would've disappeared into that thing for hours pretending to run the busiest little ice cream shop in town. don't wanna complain though, because we did have a pretty good childhood and at least this is something new and cool to get them away from spending their whole day in front of a screen. because that's taken over way too much. which is most likely partly our fault because we're spending way too much time staring at a screen, but that's a discussion for another day. so, how refreshing would you rate your first experience with kids on a scale of one to ten ? one is "get me out of here" and ten is "i'm so gonna buy that ice cream truck next time i see them."

is it just me or do other people go to sleep with television commercial jingles running through their head? oh, or even better, old sitcom television show intros. like Friends, or Cheers or oh good God the piano intro for the Office? i feel like those are just on a never ending loop in my brain that only gets turned on the minute i go to close my eyes and take a nap or lie down for the evening. please tell me that i'm not alone!

you're hearing television jingles or sitcom intros when you close your eyes ? that's oddly fascinating. and every day it's a random one ? like you'll get ready for bed and your last question in your head before you close your eyes is "what's it gonna be today ? friends intro or that walmart commercial jingle ?" wish i could relate, because that sounds fun. especially if it's a wild mix throughout the week. but nope, i'm right at the other end of the spectre. whenever i close my eyes, i hear the narrator of 'medical detectives' in my head. i don't even know if that's still on, i'm watching episodes on youtube every now and then. and mind you, i sleep like a baby, because he has such a soothing voice even though he's talking about the most disturbing shit.

now that i've spent five weeks doing nothing but watching football, how does one move on from the world cup?? do i have to pick a professional team to support now or what? while my team didn't make it too far, i loved wearing my Brazil jersey and repping my culture. does anyone else feel more patriotic while watching sports or is it just me? i haven't felt this Brazilian in a long time. / @limelightblvdstarters

there's just something about international tournaments that makes everyone feel a little more connected to where they come from. bonus points if there are different heritages running through your blood. like imagine how someone must've felt who's half-spanish, half-argentinian last sunday. how do you even make that choice which team to root for ? because that would be my own personal hell hole. i'm already indecisive as fuck in every day situations. you could go for the club teams, sure. or you could go for a whole different sports. like i'm contemplating getting into basketball for real and not just the "catch a game every couple of months" situation that i've had going on. because their women's world cup is happening this year and then the men's world cup is next year. just in time to keep our patriotic hearts beating.
