the golden era? is that what being lex luthor gets me? because i'm definitely going to drink it up every bit. but no, i appreciate that and the compliment. did you really watch skins to learn english? i feel like that's a bit like learning all the curse words in a language before everything else, which naturally i approve of. it's sort of unreal sometimes how long i've been doing this, although it's still interesting and fun, so i'm milking it for all it's worth. i don't know what a break means, though. maybe it's having young children and being used to that not being part of the vocab, since they never let me catch a breath. so no, you're not interrupting anything, though maybe you'll have time to take a nap so i can live vicariously.

i'm telling you, it absolutely is. you've chosen a pretty good career move with him, though! and yes, i genuinely did. in hindsight, skins was probably a questionable teacher. i learned plenty of slang, a fair amount of swearing, and i thought everyone in the uk spoke exactly like that. imagine my disappointment when i realised not every sixth-former was living quite that chaotically. i blame you lot entirely, everyone who worked on that show! but it clearly worked, so i can't complain. i have no idea how you've kept up the pace for this long, but it seems like it works for you, mate! maybe you're right, i've always thought having kids gives you incredible stamina. i still think you deserve one, mind you, even if you don't know what to do with it anymore. i'll happily have a nap on your behalf and report back with my findings. it's a sacrifice i'm willing to make.

damian: i'm glad to hear that, because i meant every word. you really did define a generation of childhoods, whether you meant to or not. damian: you've made this impossible by asking me to pick just one. i liked the one they thought their nanny was a murderer. looking back now, i'm not even sure whether i watched them for the story or just because raven's reactions alone were enough to make me laugh every single time. i still don't think anyone's matched her comedic timing.

yeah, that's the one! i've been told it's worth a watch, but i might be ever so slightly biased. it is a bit strange, though. you spend months filming, tucked away in your own little bubble, and then one day it comes out and people know your face and have made hundreds of edits of you. it's one of those things i don't think one ever really get used to. if you do watch it, though, i'm trusting you to be at least a little kind!

a seven out of ten? that's brutal. here i was thinking i'd done alright, only to find out i was apparently missing my best accessory. i'll admit, though, the carpet did feel a bit emptier without you there to steal half the attention. i had to do all the heavy lifting by myself, and frankly, it was exhausting. the whole thing was a lot of fun, though. i met the guys from "my fault: london"... you would've loved it. things are definitely more fun when you're around. i'm taking a break, whether it's needed i'll let people decide, i'd like to think i needed it. now it's your turn. tell me about this role that's got you in a funk. i know you well enough to know you're probably being much harder on yourself than anyone else would be, and i'd much rather hear you talk yourself out of it than let you sit there convincing yourself you're not brilliant. i saw the pink hair, by the way, looking as good as ever!

So not only can you act your ass off, but I hear you're a doctor too. That might be the coolest thing I have ever heard and I need to know how you were able to focus on both? Obviously, I can only speak from an acting standpoint, but that alone can be intense. The different shoot days and the scheduling conflicts. How were you able to maintain that and study medicine at the same time? You have all my respect. @damianhcrdung

doctor to be, still a student! i think you're giving me far too much credit. i don't know if there was ever a moment where i felt like i had everything perfectly balanced, most of the time it was just figuring things out as i went along. schedules do overlap, but i'm lucky to have people around me who support me and remind me why i was doing it. i come from a family of doctors, so that's where my inspiration lied. i think the biggest thing was that i never saw them as competing parts of my life. they were two things i genuinely loved, so the hard work felt worth it. and thank you, really! hearing that from someone who understands how demanding acting can be means a lot. i have to say, watching you work, i don't think you need to ask anyone how to handle pressure. you make it look pretty effortless yourself.

Liz: hahah I mean it's closer to my natural hair and I always feel freer admittedly the less upkeep I have to have.

Liz: same way I feel like lighter hair doesnt do my features any good and darker blonde just highlights things. Maybe makes me look a bit tanner? That may be my false belief.

DAMIAN: i can actually see that. i think darker blonde suits you really well. it gives you that effortlessly natural look, and i swear it makes your eyes stand out even more. whether it's because it makes you look tanner or not, i'll leave to the experts, but whatever the reason is, it definitely works! DAMIAN: i suppose we've both proved that hair colour is one of those things where you never really know until you try it. i'm still convinced i'm meant to be blond, though. i had my dark-haired era, i've seen the evidence, and i think i'll happily leave that version of me in the archives.

Okay, all I heard there was that you had a crush on me and I'd be lying if I said that didn't make me feel some type of way. I don't want to say I'm giddy, because that sounds stupid, but it's definitely akin to that emotion. Aren't you tired of your friends sending you photos? Your phone must be constantly buzzing this year with how busy I've been. Surprised you're not sick of me. It still amazes me how in tune I am with Law. He just gets it, you know? He's willing to do so much to ensure that I'm always matching a theme and I have so much respect for his artistry. Everyone wants to work with him and I'm lucky enough to be one of the people he said yes to. Your mind is a pretty interesting thing. I like the way you speak so openly about the things you're passionate about. Hopefully when you see The Odyssey, you still feel the same way. I don't want to seem like I'm finishing for compliments, but maybe throw a few more my way and you'll have me as red as a tomatoe.

well, that's music to my ears! i'm not remotely tired of my friends sending me photos of you. if anything, it's become a running joke at this point. every other day my phone lights up with, "have you seen what zendaya's wearing now?" and i can't complain one bit! i don't mind though, you and law keep giving everyone something to talk about. the two of you have built something really special together, and i think that's why people are so invested. i'm almost certain i'm going to love it. the whole concept already had me sold long before the cast was announced. is it true, though, what i heard about your screentime? because i genuinely hope it's not. well, i could compliment you all day! you're ridiculously talented, unfairly beautiful. i don't think anything i can tell you would be enough, and i'm sure you've heard it all at this point. if that leaves you looking like a tomato, i can't say i'll feel too guilty about it.

considering i've never acted in my life, and i'd forget all my lines immediately as soon as i stepped on set. what's something about acting that people don't really understand if they're not in the industry? @damianhcrdung

probably making the same scene feel like you're doing it for the very first time when it's actually take fifteen takes and you've already had the exact same conversation fourteen times before. and then there's the emotional side of it. some days you have to cry on command, and an hour later you'll be having lunch chatting with your mates. your brain gets very good at switching gears and i think that's something not many people know how it's possible, when they're not actors, of course. is acting something you'd ever like to dip your toes into?

Thank you so much. Fashion is clearly one area of my life I take seriously and it's actually really nice knowing you're looking in my direction. Law and I work as a team and it's really great having someone who just gets you. We have the same ideas at the same time and I really don't know what I would do without him, but thanks for giving me a little more credits. Wearing some of this stuff can be uncomfortable, but fashion is art and I feel like I'm a vessel to showcase that. Oh, really? You have really great taste in women, did you know that? well, to be fair, every time i opened my phone, there you were. you completely took over my feed. and to make matters worse, my friends know i happen to have a tiny crush on you, so they make it their personal mission to send me every single photo the second it gets posted. but i do love hearing how you and law work together. you can really tell when someone understands another person's style that well. you're both speaking the same creative language, and the results speak for themselves. yeah, of course i'm aware. oh, i had to mention her! i'm a huge greek mythology nerd, anything to do with that world immediately has my attention. combine that with my love of films and of course i had to mention isabella. and almost blushed? what would it actually take to get you there? i clearly need to step my game up.
