@the_ryan_kelley: Oh M Gee..He touched me! Iâm never taking a shower!!!
camdenblake:
âItâs nothing I havenât heard before,â Cam assured casually. âAnd if you need a drink consider it on me.â
âA true Irishmen never says no to a drinkâ he joked lightly. âHowâs the volunteering going these days bud?â
adriana-romero:
âYou absolutely can let me comfort you, Harry Rivers. I wonât let you mope alone.â
âI donât think Iâd really call this comfortingâ he mused, slightly distracted.
camdenblake:
Accepting the plate he noted that Harry was definitely distracted to say the least. âAnything I can clarify thatâs rolling around up there?â
âAh no, just some family stuff. Sorry, I shouldnât have snappedâ Harry apologised halfheartedly.
dahliaft:
Dahlia looked at him, playfully raising a brow. âYou and Mason did something to taint your squeaky clean image? You sure about that?â She teased with a grin. Lia only looked away to wrap a ribbon around the bouquet and write out a card. She smiled to herself before setting it to the side. âOh, she isnât? Thatâs good! Youâll always have Netflix at your side, you should have a wedding! So long as Iâm maid of honour.â She winked before shrugging. âYou can pick me up from my place? Or I could meet you at yourâs. Whicheverâs easier for you.â Lia huffed teasingly and folded her arms. âNow youâre just mean! I wanna be a part of your fam, babe.â She grinned before excusing herself to quickly go in the back to grab the customerâs arrangement. Dahlia gave a few tips for keeping it fresh before they left. âOh, what book?â She questioned as she moved back towards Harry, standing beside him.
âIâm 100% sure, actually we did a lot of things. However Iâve sworn him to secrecy thus youâll never know what exactly we didâ he shrugged, leaning against the counter as arms folded across his broad chest. âThatâs up to Nextflix not me, and when I said they werenât the jealous type -- I lied. Theyâd obviously be very jealous around youâ he continued the joke with a half crescent smirk hanging from amused petals. âIâll come to you, where are you living now?â things had changed in town, thus heâd assumed Dahlia had moved into her own place. âNope, you had your chance but you ruined it with that comment. Sorry babeâ he emphasised the repeating word with a wink. Honeyed orbs never left Dahliaâs figure, he was entranced by her passion. Clearing his voice with fear it would betray his confidence Harry replied âan old classic -- The Outsiders. Itâs being modernised and whatnotâ he explained.
camdenblake:
âYou canât pass me that, plate? Well something must be really wrong here. Maybe I should check your vitals?â
Harry hadnât been listening to the other as his mind had been plagued with thoughts of his sisters health once again. âMy vitals are fineâ he dismissed, handing the plate with little interest.
â 10 minute break, weâll be back in a moment â â itâs spoken from the mic up front and Sloane finds her way off the stage and into a table closest. She only had 10 minutes to take a breather, and since smoking was out of the question, she decided to order something ( one thing ) to drink. itâs only when she noticed the jacket hanging from the chair next to her, she realizes it might be taken.Â
â Scuse me, were you sitting here? Iâm terribly sorry.. âÂ
âKind ofâ he replied politely before retrieving his jacket âbut itâs fine, I was just leaving anyway.â
âNo â no itâs okay! Itâs completely alright, no need to say sorry or anything. You might of not been wanting to say sorry but rather then yell at me but either way, Iâm all good. Didnât feel it â- actually canât feel anything!â
âEllie?â the concerned male waded through the crowd of people, pushing back the male standing a little too close to his friend. âWhatâs ah, going on? Are you okay?â they seemed more than a little intoxicated.
âSorry -- I canât do this right now.â
bittybattystamour:
âUniversity,â She said automatically, beginning to follow him cautiously. It was a lie, but a plausible one. âWhy, are you from around here?â
âBorn and raised. I actually just came back from a five year period of being gone... this place hasnât changed a bit though.â
dahliaft:
âAh, but of course! I canât argue with him a little since⊠You are squeaky clean but a leather jacket makes everyone look like a badass. You pulled it off better than most.â She smiled as he moved closer, pleased that the time apart hadnât made them awkward around one another. Dahlia playfully raised a brow. âI would hate to intrude on your Netflix and Chill time, Harry. By all means, keep your plans and just fit me in whenever you can.â She smiled, shaking her head. âI didnât mean it quite like that.â But still, she couldnât hold in her laughter as she watched him spinning. âYouâre crazy.â Lia teased before smiling at him. âDonât worry, Iâll just have to be a part of the family some other way or metaphorically then.â Dahlia then moved to pick a few flowers up, moving to the counter and putting together a bouquet. âWhat project do you have lined up next?â
âHey, you wouldnât believe the shite Mason and I got up to in London okay? You think I was squeaky clean thenâ he dared, ivory cheeks blushing crimson at the small compliment the raven haired beauty paid him. âNetflix isnât the jealous type, itâll always be there for me when I come crawling back at the end of the day. So tomorrow it isâ. Amber orbs looked at his phone as he opened up the notes section âwhere should I pick you up from?â he mused with a somewhat nervous timbre. âEveryone needs a little crazy in their lifeâ Harry shrugged. âNope, that whole offer is off the table! You can never become apart of my family after a comment like that.â Pacing towards the front window Harry became distracted by a customer entering the store âitâs a book to movie adaptionâ he admitted softly.

dahliaft:
âAw, câmon. I think you looked good! Leather jackets suit you. At least in my opinion.â Lia shrugged, trying not to think too much more about how they used to be. She looked over to him and smiled. âHow about tomorrow? Iâm closed so it seems like a great option.â Dahlia clicked her tongue. âShe might approve more now but sheâll still be a little iffy about you, unfortunately. You earned it so to me? Thatâs better than the money I have. All I did was sit around and more money was thrown at me.â She mused before letting out a true laugh. âAre you suggesting I ask? Do you want to come back one day and have me as your adopted sister?â
âDo they make me look bad arse? Because Mase said nothing would ever smug my squeaky clean imagineâ slender fingers brushed petals as he crept closer to Dahlia. He was soaking up every moment she allowed him to bask in her presence. Heâd missed her as a friend more than anything. âLike I said, Iâll free up my busy schedule of Netflix and chill for youâ he smirked, holding out a hand as if to make a deal. âLuckily Iâm not a scared sixteen year old kid anymore. I -- no, donât say that you earned this business. It doesnât matter how you got the money -- you earned all of thisâ spun dramatically, gesturing to the entire store. âOh fuck, I really didnât think that through... no, donât ever ask to be adopted by my parents... No matter how much Evie or mum beg.â
dahliaft:
âNo, but you still have the better voice, always did. Danny.â She winked playfully before smiling. âOkay, okay. Since it wonât be your car or mine, I wouldnât feel so bad⊠We can do that, if you really want to. Itâll be nice.â Dahlia nodded at the idea of seeing the video of the two of them. âPerfect, thank you. I have a feeling Iâll have a little embarrassment to watch it again but I look forward to it.â She shrugged a little. âWhen do they do anything but? Having a son wouldâve pleased them more but at least they thought having a daughter, they could use her in deals. But alas, I donât stick to their plan. If youâre not from money, she wonât like you. Period. Itâs not just you, she hated a lot of people thatâs why they moved away from here.â Lia really did despise that part of her mother. The fact she couldnât see past things like that. âHonestly, being adopted into your family was my birthday wish for years. I wouldâve loved it but it never came true. She wouldâve noticed, your mum loves you!â
âGod, donât bring up those Leather jackets again, they scared me for life. I canât believe I got up in front of the entire school in pants as tight as that and sang, what was wrong with me?â a genuine chuckle escaped pouted petals as a crimson blush painted ivory skin. âPick the day and Iâll be outside your place in a rented car -- by rented I mean Iâm going to steal Masonâs. You looked perfect, but I might give you second hand embarrassmentâ he admitted with a nonchalant shrug. Watchful orbs never left Dahlia as she rearranged flowers so carefully, it reminded him of the first time theyâd met. âI think sheâd like me a lot more now though, unless sheâd consider me new moneyâ it was like they had been stuck in the Titanic as teens, he thought. âIf you want, Iâm sure my mum would adopt you now that Iâm away so often.âÂ
dahliaft:
âAre you sure thatâs such a wise idea? One of us continued with the performing whereas the other did not. I have a feeling Iâd break some windows and mirrors.â She teased with a playful smile, letting out a chuckle. âWe certainly have grown up but⊠Memories are nice.â Lia sighed as she moved to put some more bouquets in the buckets. âWell, Mother wants me to give up the shop. She wants me to marry some⊠Rich guy so Dad can make a deal with his dad. Yâknow, normal things.â She shook her head as she looked at him. âYouâre here now, thatâs all that matters. You donât need to worry, family is whatâs important.â Lia chuckled and nodded. âYour mum is. I swear sheâs come in here more than I do.â She teased before laughing once more. âI love her coming here. Itâs nice to talk to her, you know I love your mum.â
âI donât recall becoming a singer -- thereâs a reason that didnât happen. Good thing the car wonât be mine thenâ he mused, attempting to convince her to actually hangout with him after years of radio silence. âIâm going to send it to you, watch it when you get a chance okay? Theyâre still trying to sell you off like a farm animal? God, it never really occurred to me that the reason she didnât like me was because of my somewhat humble beginnings...â Dahliaâs parents hadnât been around often however when they were they had constant disapproval etched into scowling visages. âI think itâs because she likes spending time with you, I always thought she liked you more than me. We could have switched families and I doubt she would have complained.â
