What a journey it has been for this project! With the current economic crisis, this project was abandoned for months. Now with a new Quantity Surveyor and new Builder, it’s progressing very well. Finally completed during COVID-19!!! It was tough with all the site restrictions but the Builder did very well. The 4 luxury townhouses are finally complete and finishes are well done. 3 beds with en-suite, 4 levels including basement and top terrace. In 10 years time, what do you want to remember 2020 to be? A year of disaster or a year of transformation? Just dropped my son off for a VCE test. He will have his final exams very soon. Tamdang is my teacher. He is resilient. He is calm. He is diligent. He is positive. He is focused. He chose the number 999 and explains to me that it means: “Perseverance and persistence in spite of obstacles and impossibility. When one door closes, keep knocking until another door is opened” Regardless of his VCE result. He is already a winner. Outstanding attitude son! Thanks to impermanence, anything is possible! For a very long time, my limiting belief is: I can’t cook and I don’t cook. I can come up many wonderful reasons just to avoid cooking. In the last few months, I started to form a close relationship with food and I started to explore cooking food. Instead of having fear and doubt, I invite gratitude and kindness. I started to enjoy cooking and enjoying eating. It’s a transformation journey for me. It’s only a start but a journey with a thousand steps always begins with a single step. It doesn’t have to be a big step and it doesn’t have to be perfect. Just a small step. For me, it’s a simple dish. And it’s better late than never. I’m giving myself a pat on the back for having a go. For Farhers day, my children gave me a vegetarian cook book to encourage my effort. What’s your limiting belief that’s holding you back?
