The Wanted- General Car accident Part 1

Max POV

The drive back to the hotel was calm and quiet. Tom was on his phone, probably texting Kelsey, Siva was half asleep and Jay was playing a game of snake on his temporary phone. But Nathan was just staring into space, with everything happening between him, Ariana and Jai, I think it was getting to him. He looked pale and had dark bruises under his eyes from lack of sleep.

I was still daydreaming when the van jolted a bit, no one thought anything of it, until it skidded and rolled down a bank. My eyes locked with Jay before everything went black.

 Tom POV

As soon as I was aware of my surroundings I noticed my head hurting and I felt stiff as I moved upright in my seat from where I had fallen sideways. The first person I turned to was Jay, he was sat next to me.

I shake his shoulder until he started to wake.

“Mate, what happened?” He asked groggily.

“Crash, I think, can you see if anyone else is awake?” I asked, while I tried to get up and assess the condition that I was in.                                                              He nodded and looked around the seats.

 Jay POV

I looked around the seats to see Siva undoing his seatbelt.

“You alright?” I asked,

“Broken arm.” He replied biting his lip when he moved too fast.

“Do you know anything about Nath or Max? I gasped when I moved my leg.

“Jay?” Siva questioned confused by my reaction.

“Leg…Broken” I breathed trying to regain my breath.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Tom climb over the back of the seats to get to the others.

 Tom POV

When I got over the seats I went to Max who seemed to have hit his head on the window. I heard Siva calling for help, so I relaxed a little. My worry returned when I went to Nathan. His head was bleeding but his eyes were open.

“Nath.” I whispered seeing if he could hear me. But he just stared blankly ahead.

“Jay, stay still” I heard Siva say behind me.

“But, Max” He replied softly.

“Let me.” Siva concluded and moved next to Max for when he woke up.

 “Nath.” I said gently, “Can you hear me?” No reply was given.

“Hey, Seev” I whispered, “What’s going on with Nate?”

“What do you mean?”

“Well he’s awake, but just staring straight ahead.” I was worried about outr youngest member but didn’t want to scare the others.

I glanced over at Max, he was still knocked out and this time I was internally panicking.

 Siva POV

I felt Max start to move, slowly and groaning as he did so.

“Max, hey what hurts?” I questioned.

“Ugh, my head.” He got out. He opened his eyes and I took a sigh of relief.

“Is everyone else alright?” He asked.

“Jay’s got a broken leg, I’ve hurt my arm, Tom’s fine just bruises and Nath..” I paused not knowing what to say.

“Siva, what about Nath?” Max repeated.

“Um” I stuttered.

 Max POV

I tried to turn around but Siva stopped me.

“Siva, Nath”

“I know, but Tom’s gonna help him.” Siva said trying to calm me down, I stopped struggling when a sharp pain rebounded in my head.

The van had calmed down and Jay mentioned that the ambulance was arriving soon.

“Tom…” I was cut off when Nathan screamed, making us all jump and spin around to him.

I turned and saw Tom trying to calm him down.

“Nath, come on- stop.” Tom was frantically trying to get him to stop moving.

“No, NO- get me out! Out now!” Nathan was panicking and tears were streaming down his face.

“Shh” Tom whispered soothingly.

“No, NO” He kept crying and it was killing me not being able to do anything.

 Nathan POV

I was scared, I heard Tom. But don’t want that, I need to get out of the van. I could feel the seatbelt restricting my movements.

“Please, please Tom, let me out.” I knew I was crying and begging but at this point I didn’t care. I wanted out.

“Nath, listen to me. Your safe, if you calm down you can get out quicker, but I need you to trust me.”

I stopped. I locked eyes with Tom and saw trust and safety. I still didn’t know what happened but I leaned into Tom and sobbed. I felt him hold me and I slowly calmed down.

 Jay POV

I finally heard the sirens. I was still watching Tom pull Nathan into him to keep him calm. I looked over at Max and made eye contact. I knew we would get through this as a band.

I was finally taking a breath when I saw Max fall asleep and Nathan start screaming again. That’s when the paramedics came in. I finally gave into the darkness once more.

The Vamps- Connor

Luck

Brad Pov

It all happened so quickly. We were playing a show in London, home crowd and the atmosphere was amazing. We had just finished risk it all when Connors guitar cut out.

I couldn't believe that I thought it was a lead that had come loose, when I turned to him he wasn't there.

I looked to James and he looked just as shocked. That's when fans starting yelling and it all clicked.

He had fallen. Connor has fallen and hasn't gotten back up.

With James and Tristan I ran to the edge and there he was holding his knee and giving us a small shelted smile.

That was hours ago. We were in the hospital. Connor had to have surgery and the ligaments were torn badly. At least he was smiling.

"Connor Ball" a young nurse called us and we all stood up.

"Follow me"

We did and when we got to his room. He just smiled and half waved. He was drugged on local anesthesia and the nurse said that he would sleep most of the time until tomorrow.

I just held my luck and gripped his arm while he fell back to sleep wondering how he could smile about this.

The Wanted Nathan Asthma

Siva P.O.V

“Interview in 10 minutes” Kevin, their bodyguard, said through the door. “Ready boys, remember no spilling secrets” Tom expressed using his hands as well to make his point.

I rolled my eyes at Tom’s antics and patted my pockets to make sure I had all I needed.

“Come on boys, time to rock and roll” Max said going out the door with Tom and Jay following.

“Let’s go Nate” I pushed him in front of me totally forgetting about the light blue pump sitting on the kitchen table.

Tom P.O.V

I was sitting next to Nathan on the end of the sofa and I was bored, it was a relaxed interview, but you could tell that the interviewer fancied Max and Jay because all her questions about the band were directed at them.

“Are you as bored as I am?” I whispered.

“So bored.” Breathed Nathan,

“You alright, you sound a bit breathy?” I questioned. Nathan just nodded staring ahead, not really paying attention to what’s going on around him.

I made a mental note to keep an eye on the younger boy.

“So,” the interview continued “which one of you has fallen in stage, Max?”

I sighed here we go again, I wasn’t listen to the answer as thats when Nath started coughing next to me, quietly at first but it then started to get more violent. “Wish mate, are you ok?” I asked, it caught the attention of Siva and Jay who looked quite worried about the younger member, Max was still answering the question so we couldn’t bring the interview to an end. Nathan’s cough was slowing down but I was still worried.

“Hey,” I said quietly “got your inhaler?” Nathan paled and shook his head, breath coming out a bit heavier again.

“Hey calm down, we can stop by the house after the interview before the gig” I reassured him.

Nathan nodded his breathing slowing down but a bit wheezy.

“Well thank you Max and Jay for answering my questions.” The interviewer shot the 3 of us a glare

“And next time you want to cough please either wait until a break or go outside” she directed at Nathan.

“He has asthma, no need to be rude about it!” Max lost his composure and yelled at her I would’ve as well but Nathan hadn’t reacted and it looked like he was concentrating on his breathing and I wanted to get him help. The interview concluded and I helped Nathan to the van.

Jay P.O.V

“What’s going on?” I asked when I saw Nathan leaning on Tom towards the van.

“Asthma acting up.” Tom replied walking faster when Nathan’s breath stuttered.

“Kev! Start the van!” Shouted Max

“What’s nearer the house or the hospital?” Asked Siva worry on his face.

“The house.” Kevin replied “Let’s go.”

On the journey Nathan’s breathing was getting heavier and we were all hitting ourselves for forgetting his inhaler. But the closer we got to the house the more hope we had that he would stay conscious.

Nathan’s P.O.V

I felt the world go blurry and my chest hurt from trying to get air into my lungs. I could feel Tom holding me up when the van stopped and then someone brush past me as they left the van to what I think is the house. Tom is whispering in my ear but I don’t have the strength to reply to what’s he’s saying. I know that he’s trying to keep me awake but it was a losing battle.

Max P.O.V

I ran as fast as I could back to the van and shook the pump before pressing it into his mouth and hoping for the best. I watched him inhale the medicine as did the other boys and it made me relax a little bit when he gained some colour and tried to sit up with the tiny amount of energy it had given him to be able to breathe without effort.

“Thanks.” He whispered tiredly

“Lets get you to bed, Siva can you make the calls and cancel the gig.” Tom said quietly know that the fear had died down we all felt a bit shaken by the events. Tom was going to talk to Nathan but he was already asleep. We all walked slowly into the house while Tom put Nathan to bed. I made a reminder on the fridge to get extra inhalers for each of us.

Diversity Perri

A new dance studio was opening that dancer Ashley Banjo had started up with his brother Jordan and his mum Danielle. The studio was to set up a dance troop but to also help people and children express themselves and feel comfortable about doing it.

The studio had only been open for a few weeks when a young boy, no older than 13, came in. He was wearing sweat pants and a loose fitting shirt. That day the studio wasn’t busy so when he entered most people turned to look when the door shut.

The boy cringed away from the attention that was on him. Ashley saw this and went to sit near the boy.

“Hi.” Ashley said gently,

The boy just nodded taking in his surroundings.

“Do you dance?” He asked another question trying to get the kid to talk.

A shrug was his answer this time.

Ashley made eye contact with his brother pleading with him if he would try to get this boy to talk.

Jordan silently agreed and wandered over.

“Hey.” Jordan said “Have you got any moves?”

The boy looked at Jordan and whispered one word. Jordan missed it but Ashley heard and instantly had a plan.

“Back flip.” Ashley repeated and the boy gave a short nod.

“Come with me.” Ashley got up expecting the big haired boy to follow. Luckily he did.

“What’s your name?” Asked Jordan following along with his brother. But he ignored him watching the dancing around him and wondering if he can be that good.

They stopped at a spot in the corner with a crash mat.

“Lets see what you got.” Ashley told the mystery boy coming to stand beside his brother to watch.

Ashley smiled as the boy could do front flips and back flips and a start of a windmill.

When he had finished he was smiling freely when he met the faces of Ashley and Jordan.

“So what’s your name?” Ashley asked.

“Perri” The boy whispered feeling happy with trusting these two.

“Follow me.” Ashley offered

The boy agreed.

“Where are we going?” Perri asked timidly.

“To meet my mum.” Perri looked at Ashley questionably “ To join our dance troop.” Ashley smiled.
