A Few Words From Harry
A Sincere Thank You...
Hi Everyone - Harry here...
This post is way-past due, but I wanted to take the time to do this post ‘personally’ and truly from my heart.
Everything's been a complete blur during the past few weeks since my team and I departed from the Custom Automotive Network (CAN) Conference in Texas. While I was roaming the endless backroads of our great nation headed back to the HMS office, I had A LOT of windshield time to think. And I experienced a ton of emotions during my drive-time... Surprise, Excitement, Amazement, Fear... but most of all... Humbleness.
I posted on here just few months back… That just to be nominated for the CAN Sales Rep of the Year award, alongside well-respected rep-agencies like Bob Cook Sales and KAM Marketing, was an ‘honor and win’ in itself.
But now having HMS being named the CAN 2018 Sales Rep of the Year at this year’s conference, still leaves me speechless. I would just like to thank the CAN Board of Directors, all CAN members and the entire WD network for this honor.
My sincere thanks go out to the incredible group of product manufacturers that we represent and who allow us to peddle their cool parts at the doorsteps of warehouse distributors, speed shops, engine builders and every other racing & performance business under the sun. Without awesome companies like AOPEC USA LLC, Bill Mitchell Products, BTE Racing, Canton Racing Products, Cometic Gasket, Inc., Daytona Sensors LLC, DIPACO DTech, ERSON CAMS, Fragola Performance Systems, King Racing, Klotz Synthetic Lubricants, NW Seat Covers, PRP Racing Products, Race Gas, RaceQuip, TI Automotive, Valco CP, Visual Impact Performance Systems, World Products, Worx Performance Gloves and United Engine & Machine (Icon-KB-Silv-O-Lite Pistons), our success would not be possible.
Then there’s the HMS team. What can I say about these guys and gals? To Devereaux, Dennis, the two Bill’s, Kevin, Joey, Cheryl and the Digital Ninja… I appreciate each and every one of you more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for all that you do for HMS.
And finally, to the most important person… My better-half Karen. I love you deeply and appreciate you putting-up with me throughout these many, many years. Why you still allow me to go out and make a living in this crazy-ass industry is well-beyond me.
So to everyone out there… and once again from my heart... Thank you.
Now put down this social media crap for a while people… Go out there and sell something!
See ya'll at The SEMA Show really soon.
- Harry
