seeing a bit more how the people outside of the host club view them is the funniest goddamn bit in the manga sometimes

 Sometimes no one brings up is that in all pictures Yoshio Ootori is pretty short (he’s shorter than all his children, even when Kyoya is 13 and he’s shorter than Yuzuru Suoh) but his kids are all like 6′0 (183 cm) except Fuyumi who is only like an inch taller than him. So his wife much have been stacked. I mean Kyoya at 17 is already 180 cm and he’s not finished growing and could be growing 2-5 more cm so like by Japanese standards his sons are really tall (but not as tall as Tamaki who’s mom’s height fluctuates to be a little shorter than Tamaki (who’s 6′0 so she’d be 5′9-5′10) to much shorter than Yuzuru (so 5′6)).

So in the end, remember that these women are tall, not petite fragile things.

What cracks me up about kyokao as a duo is that they seem the chillest of any combo you can make of the hosts, but in reality they are repressed capitalistic nerds who get way too into metaphors, making them, in fact, the least chill duo irl. They give the illusion of chill.

I know you’re not supposed to take anything in Ouran High School Host Club with any ounce of seriousness but since Kyoya states he does nothing without thought to personal gain, I like to think he was calculating theses graphs for himself and just happened to pull them out when Tamaki mentioned how much more contact the twins had. You know he keeps a Kyoya graph in his back pocket along with formulated plans to increase his own Haruhi time.

Since Kyoya and Tamaki are in the same grade, they both only see Haruhi during club time. So it’s very likely that the pie chart on the right is actually for Kyoya and he just stuck Tamaki’s name on it last minute lol.
