I know Shikamaru x Temari is canon, and yeah — it makes sense. They’re stable, compatible, and probably had a quiet life.

But even so, I can’t help but feel that Shikamaru x Sakura had something more.Not because I hate canon.Not because I want Sakura “to be with everyone.”But because I genuinely believe she deserved an emotionally grounded, present, and understanding partner.

Shikamaru listens. He observes. He speaks when it matters. He wouldn’t disappear on her. He wouldn’t treat her feelings like something childish.He’d know when to step back — and when to speak up.

Sasuke was her wound.

It’s not about drama or aesthetics for me — it’s about chemistry, compatibility, and actual growth.And that’s what I see in ShikaSaku — even if it’s just in fanon.

I’m tired of getting hate for liking Sakura.Tired of being told I “don’t respect canon” just because I see a different kind of love for her.

Let me ship what makes sense to me. Let me imagine a version of Sakura who is loved gently, daily, and without conditions.
