Sure thing!

I've got a dedicated page that anyone can refer back to if you want the specifics about my main team, but the lowdown is:

Marcus the Inteleon Meredith the Espeon Paisley the Zoroark Simon the Lucario Wilhelmina the Frosmoth Dennis the Toxtricity (Amped Form)

…and as of more recently, I’ve had the fortune of adopting a Snivy, whom I’ve named Tyrone (or Roni, for short).

As well as those, I’ve spent a lot of time around my parents and their Partner Pokémon:

Beatrice the Eevee (...Well, she's more like a family pet than anyone's specific partner)* Reuben the Corviknight (my mother's) Sebastian the Obstagoon (my father's)

And... at this point, it almost feels like bragging-- which, I assure you, dear anon, is not the point..!-- I've done a fair bit of travelling in my time, and helped out with research on behalf of a couple of regions' Pokémon Professors, which, naturally, involved catching quite a few other species...

*We lost Beatrice on the 18th of February 2023, to natural causes.

PSA for ALL Trainers

please check your potions, paralyze heals, antidotes, etc. for their expiration dates. if you can't find the expiration, ask your local nurse joy.

using expired products could make you, your pokémon, and others sick. please make sure you are checking those things every time you buy one or use one. if you have a bunch of expired products, swing by my or any other pokécenter in galar. we have a promo rn where we'll trade your expired ones for fresh ones.

We had such a lovely, sunny morning, and now, out of nowhere, we just got hit with an insane hailstorm. I'm sure it must be a natural occurrence; didn't the International Pokémon League motion to remove Hail from circulation in favour of Snowscape?

...Point being, even as a Trainer of an Ice-type Pokémon, I don't get how Ice-types aren't bothered by it. I know I'd be pretty upset if the sky were to start pelting me with hard, pea-sized nuggets of bone...

I've had to pull so many extra shifts in the office lately, so, this week, I threw caution to the wind and brought Dennis in with me. If they're going to inconvenience my timetable, they can pay the price.

...Or so I thought, until a colleague of mine sat at the desk beside mine and let his partner out of its Poké Ball: A Fan Rotom.

I feel rather upstaged. Dennis, needless to say, was rather pleased.

I know I'm woefully late to the party on this, and, yes, it took me passing by a lady who was walking her Shiny Furfrou for this to cross my mind, but,

Honestly? My city could do worse than having a counterpart to the Z-A Royale over in Lumiose. Our Gym seems perpetually trapped in the Minor League, so, at this point, why not just break away and have our own thing like that? The city's certainly big enough for it.

...I promise I'm not just saying that so I have an excuse to lurk unassumingly in a Battle Zone and then utterly decimate anyone who doesn't remember who I am..! 😅

Had the absolute joy of sharing my train ride, today, with quite possibly the largest Mightyena I ever did see.

I was on my way home this afternoon, on the train, and a Trainer gets on board, accompanied by the biggest Stoutland I have ever seen.

No comments, no complaints; just in awe at the size of that lad.

Had a bit of a silly thought earlier today, and I almost worry that it's Too Soon, even though it's been over a decade since the drama in Kalos, now, but--

So I've seen quite a few people around the city, now, wearing teal-ish uniforms, and my first thought was, "Team Flare Again But This Time They're Blue? ...Team Drip?"

Well, whatever. As long as they don't cause any trouble worse than Team Yell, I think we can live and let live.

This evening, I watched a documentary on the history of Pokémon breeding in the context of competitive battling, and it really is fascinating to see just how deep one can dive on the subject.

It's not something I ever have any intention of dabbling in for myself, mind you; I'm perfectly happy with Team Harvey as they are-- and if that means we're never invited to the World Championships, so be it.

One of the most underrated things about being a Trainer to a Lucario is the absolute juxtaposition of how well-mannered and noble they are... riiiiight up until you stand them next to literally any other Pokémon that reminds them how short they are.
