Back during university, I made a rom hack of Super Mario Bros about fighting bad anatomy, deadlines and rival illustrators - with the goal of the game to get your comic published. The power ups were inspiration (mushroom), spag bol (star power), and burning vigor and passion (fire flower).

I made a box and manual for it as well. Probably the only good thing I did while I was at uni.
