I feel at home on stage. I feel happy on stage. I'm able to be myself on stage. It's one of the few instances where I'm able to have a good time in social settings. Much love to everyone who watches, listens, and vibes out with me. #WeAreFew

I've been playing this album all day today. This joint takes me back to high school man.. This was a really important album for kids like me. In 2006, Lil Wayne was on top of the rap game dropping mixtape after mixtape. Everyone swore he was the best rapper alive. When Lupe dropped Food and Liquor, it was a mainstream album that had soul samples, boom bap drum breaks, lyrically complex, socially conscious subject matter. It was an album for the kids who were thinking a bit different than the status quo. It was dope to hear a Muslim dude from Chicago become successful without glorifying sex, drugs, and violence. In my opinion, this is among the dopest albums in Hip Hop. #LupeFiasco #HipHopClassics
Last night was the culmination of a lot of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. Not just from me, but everyone involved. It was beautiful to see the room packed up for me and @curtissking's EP release. Blessed to have shared this moment with everyone who was in the building last night. If you have pictures and videos from the show last night, feel free to post them up..and remember, #WeAreFew #TheDaisyChain
In 2003 I was sitting on my PC downloading countless gigabytes of Underground Hip Hop. Somehow I came across this record called the "Two Headed Dragon" by Binary Star. After thinking it was really dope, I found another record called, "Reality Check." I can honestly say that record changed my life.. Shortly after, I joined a message board where One Be Lo fans could keep up to date with the artist's movements. In 2004-2005, I was a freshman in high school walking around campus bumping SONOGRAM in my Sony CD player. It was around that same time I first met One Be Lo at a show at the California Polytechnic University of Pomona. After that show I would stay in touch with Lo every so often via the internet. Years later, around 2009, I get an e-mail from dude talking about, "Let's hoop." With no hesitation, I scooped Lo up from Senim Silla's crib out in LA, and took him to the infamous RC Sports Center in Rancho Cucamonga. I ran five on five with him, my boy D, my brother, and this kid Josh. It wasn't till after that game of five on five that I showed the One Man Army my music. Though he gave my CD a real listen and had some encouraging words for me, I truly believe it was really my jump shot that earned his respect. A little over 10 years have now passed since that day. I've been blessed to have traveled with One Be Lo on multiple tours, including internationally. We've recorded a few songs, played a few games of basketball, and have had countless hours building as brothers in Islam. Though I have known Lo for 10 years, this is the first time I have him featured on one of my songs. "All Natural," is what occurs when you let relationships build organically. The link to the single is in my bio. Patience always prospers.. #WeAreFew #TheDaisyChain #OneBeLo #BinaryStar

Let’s kick this Monday off with some chill vibes with a new single compliments of Southern California emcee HASEEB and producer Curtiss King. Enjoy! About the track… “The monotony of day to day grind often leaves many of us burnt out and unmotivated. “Game Days,” is a record which provides a narrative expressive of those days which never quite seem to end. Listen as Southern California emcee,…

I graduated from college in 2013. The shaky job market left me struggling to find a job in my field of interest. After releasing a new music project and doing a few shows on the road, I found a day job for myself at a music instrument retailer. I figured it was a good idea because music has always been my passion. I did well at this job and quickly advanced my way up to assistant manager. As my position at the day job advanced, I noticed my progress with music suffering. Today was the day I chose to take a step back from my day job. Though I've been publicly making music for 6 years, I consider today to be the true start of my career in the music industry. As an artist I'm excited to be embarking on this journey. I'm grateful to have had so many people believe in me and I pray that I'm blessed with more supporters and believers as I take another step in living out my dream. Everyone has a dream, I'm finally not afraid to commit to mine. #WeAreFew
Over the past few months I've been rocking some dope shows down in Santa Ana at The Observatory. Every musician dreams of playing on big stages and I'm grateful to have had opportunities to move people with my music. It takes a community for an artist to be successful, and communities consist of individuals. Every single person counts. It's really dope to get this kind of reception and feedback from fans of the music and culture. Shout to my dude @_armanjoy
May 26th, catch me rocking with the legendary Slick Rick. Hit me up if you want to come through! #WeAreFew #slickrick
Allow me to share my fleas with you. So I made this beat about a year ago. Six months later I wrote and laced the verses. This song was originally titled, "Why." However, just two days ago I found the source of my dog's lasting flea problem. As I tried to tackle the problem head on, I was swarmed by hundreds of fleas who chose to brutally attack my legs. The effects of this infestation caused me much irritation, but no where near as much irritation my poor pit-bull had been dealing with for a month. This little meaningless event truthfully placed me in a state of reflection and self awareness. Insects can actually teach you a lot about the world we share..you just got to pay attention.
Shout out to 2DopeBoyz for the love. I've been trying to get my music posted on this website for the past 4 years. If you haven't heard the new single yet, link is in the bio!
