I’m sorry I just found it, I get quite a lot of questions so it’s easy to overlook some. This one almost made me scream in the middle of the night, absolute banger.
I’m really enjoying every scene with them and I need them to interact even more. It’s a bit crazy to me how much my favorite characters changed throughout the show. At first I found Jax irritating and Zooble was rather neutral for me but now?? both my favorites hands down
Your work is AMAZING!! Do you have any tips for new comic artists? I just started my comic journey and was wonder if you had any tips like a good program or font? Sorry if I'm asking too much! Again AMAZING work! Keep it up <3

I’m no profesional when it comes to comics, so all I can say is what I personally like/value in comic creation but I hope it’s still helpful! Honestly you learn all your life and I’ve learned a lot by creating „Who’s the faker now?”. Here are tips on how I like to draw:
1. I like to start any comic I create by writing it out first. I go to my notes app and write down all my ideas, so I can think the story through and not forget any detail. I like to write it like an actual book, with all the dialogues and characters’ thoughts. That way it’s easier for me to turn it all into pages later.
2. Fonts - YES!! That was a big lesson for me, actually. I find the fonts I’ve used at first outrageous 💀 It’s VERY important to choose readable fonts, so it’s comfortable for the reader. They shouldn’t be too thin or fancy, in my opinion. Especially since a lot of people read comics on their phones, which are small.
3. Now to structuring the pages, one of the most important moments. As you build the page, think of how the reader will look at it. Roman alphabet users naturally read from left to right, so keep that in mind. Our eyes go left, right and back to left but lower. Just like how we read books. Here are some basic examples.
Cool thing, though, is you can change that up a bit with speech bubbles! They’re what your eye looks for first, so you can play around with their placement and manipulate the viewer’s eyes a bit. For example you can start the reading process from the right, just make sure to keep it as the highest bubble, because of course we start reading from the top.
4. Last thing: have fun with panels in general, be creative with them! Put something outside a panel or hide panels behind it a bit. You can even make the whole page a big panel!!I like to do that a lot, actually. I usually use big panels for impactful/important scenes, to make it stand out. I sometimes put smaller panels on top too, to spice it up. Here’s an example on my own page:
That’s all I could think about. Hope I helped at least a bit! ☺️🌸 Of course that’s just what I personally do and think. I’m sure you’ll find your own preferences. Comics can be super fun to do, since just like any other media (film, animation, etc), they have unique rules. Use them! It’s very cool to play around with those and break them lol

Since I'm a professional translator by trade and AI put me out of a job, it's a lovely project to maintain my skills and translate a comic I've grown to genuinely enjoy. Hopefully now that it's also available in Italian, those who struggle with English will be able to enjoy it as well !

Dato che sono un traduttore e che l'IA mi ha buttato in cassa integrazione, è un gran bel progetto per mantenermi in forma e tradurre un fumetto che mi ha molto velocemente appassionato. Spero che adesso che è disponibile nella lingua di Dante, quelli che fanno fatica con l'inglese potranno apprezzarlo anche loro !

Et voilà, un petit projet sur lequel j'ai travaillé pour lequel il faut surtout (et chaudement] remercier @hasello pour cette super BD faite par ses soins qui a accepté ma proposition de la traduire en Français. Vu que je suis traducteur professionnel de métier et que l'IA m'a mis au chômage, c'est un chouette projet qui me permet de pas rouiller et de traduire une BD qui m'a rapidement séduit. J'espère que maintenant qu'elle est disponible en Français que ceux qui bataillent avec la langue de Shakespeare pourront en profiter aussi !

Perhaps I overreacted with calling Big an “old man” but I swear that for some reason I was SURE he’s in Vanilla/Vector’s age range or older. Meanwhile he’s Rouge’s age, which is crazy to me. I saw him as the himbo unc of the group, you know? Maybe it’s the constant fishing, it’s just so dad coded in my head 😅

About the angst thing - I’ve always liked hurt/comfort stories, even as a kid. I remember my favorite thing to play was to make my favorite toy go save his girl, get captured in the process, lowkey be tortured (I’d literally just squeeze him in my tiny ass hand) and then get saved by the girl in the end. And I’d do this almost every time I played with these two toys 😭🙏🏻 always knew girls were the shit tho, so a win is a win
