On the Supreme Court
With the passing of Supreme Court Justice Scalia this afternoon, the Presidential race has proven to be one of incredible importance. Because of the republican lead Senate, the appointment of a new justice could come down to the next President, and who they chose will influence policy for years to come. Likely, they will be a hand of the President that appointed them long after that President has left office. This could mean the upholding of controversial decisions such as the defunding of Planned Parenthood, not reversing Citizenâs United, and the overturn of the ACA. Now, the race for President has become more important than ever.
Remember to vote everybody, because if you chose not to, you could help negatively influence the direction of the United States for decades to come.
