(( Hi there lmao, figured I’d make this one. ))

(( Welcome to the blog! This takes place AFTER the events of Corruption AU’s week 6, Dead Pixels. Senpai has had most of his data and memory deleted after Corrupted BF gained admin access and left the game broken and empty. Thankfully, he isn’t wholly code, leaving him still alive, and with a newly corrupted form, but still having free thought. ))

Dovey thinks about it. ..After a moment he seems to shrink in on himself.

"..Don't talk about him. I don't want to think about it."

There’s not much I can say on your situation.

You... USED to be from a video game, and then something came and corrupted all the files. Your still here, but a lot of your past memories aren’t.

That’s the sum of it, but I don’t know too much so I left out a lot of important details

"Oh," He frowns. "I guess that'd explain why I was in a TV, huh?"

Dovey plops down onto the ground, enjoying the sound of the quiet breeze. For some reason he felt like he should be hearing something else.. But he wasn't sure what.

Do you remember someone named Monika?

"Mm.." He sticks his tounge out a bit, thinking. "No, I don't really remember anyone."

"She was nice, I think."

*the cat sits and then stretches their head forward, letting themselves be pet. They accept the offer of being pet, goop and all*

Oh! He can pet them! He grins and happily continues. The residue was a bit cold, but strangely, it wasn't unpleasant.

"I haven't seen a cat in a long time.." He murmurs, his voice seeming.. wistful, before he shakes his head all of a sudden. A confused look overcame his face as he removes his hand.

"Weird.. Was I saying something? Can't remember what it was."

*A cat, composed mostly of Rose and Malcuata walks in front of Senpai, giving his shoes a curious sniff while also keeping their distance. After a while they sneeze from the strange scent of the goop but redeem their composure by stepping back to look up at the bell around their neck, lifting their stubby tail expectantly.*

He perks up, looking curious. A kitty! A weird one, but a kitty!! Dovey kneels down to pet it but hesitates as it sneezes at him. He tilts his head.

[ I didn't think cats could have allergies..! That's weird. ]

Well, you're... not a ghost, per se. More like a consciousness possessing a body. Sorry, I have no better way to put it.

[ ..Is that not normal? ]

Dovey tilts his head, but shrugs.

[ Mehh.. that's too confusing to think about. Let's do something else! ]

Suddenly, he smiles, and hops to the glass door, pulling it open with some effort. He steps outside, looking up to the sky in awe. Dovey looks down, running his hand through the wild untamed grass surrounding him in curiousity.

*pat pat*

Huh??? Someone.. pat him?? Dovey looks up at the anon curiously, but quickly frowns as when they pull their hand away, a thick black string of goo follows the motion like slime. Yeah, he's a bit.. sticky.

Oh uhhh, (crud), No, you are not a zombie, you are a spirit, i think

He flaps his hands up and down, whining.

[ But.. aren't those a kind of ghost-? I can't be a ghost, ghosts can't touch stuff.. or.. or talk to people..! ]

Dovey pauses his motions for a second again to think.

[ Unless all of you are.. also ghosts.. which I guess would make sense. ]

Hey, uhhh, Dovey? I guess I have to say this now so don't freak out okay? You are techinically not alive...

[ ..Oh.. ]

He fidgets a bit.

[ I.. I mean.. Are you sure? If I was a ghost I don't think you'd be able to see and talk to me. ]

Dovey thinks for a moment, before his eyes blow wide open, shouting in distress.

[ OH, NO..! I'M A ZOMBIE!! ]

Dovey we uh. The uhm.. Black goop is called corruption. The black and pink stuff. Your infected by it. But good thing there IS a way to get rid of it. It's just.. Complicated. And I'm not sure if it can work within code. Since I think Daddy dearest, Maybe someone else not sure. Yeeted you into the game to be stuck for basically all of time until the game dies. I think.

Dovey frowns, looking down at his form, and poking himself in the stomach. His skin ripples almost like jello.

[ Infected? Like.. sick..? I don't feel sick.. Just slimy. ]

His interest peaks as he hears a name. Something stirred in him for a moment, but he didn't know why that was.

[ Daddy.. Dearest..? Who's that? Do I have a dad? W-Where is he? Can you take me to him? Maybe he can help me remember something! ]

OKAY, b/c no one else has said it yet- Dovey, the world you're in is pretty dangerous for you right now. There are... let's call them monsters, covered in black goop like you, but instead of being able to talk and think for themselves, they're being puppeted by something else. Some of them tried to hurt you real bad before, and I'd bet that's why you're having memory issues. I know this message'll prolly freak you out some, but its better if you're cautious rather than caught off guard.

He blinks a few times, before his eyes trail down to the floor.

[ Ah, well.. That's.. That's certainly.. a lot. I've got some catching up to do, then. ]

Dovey slides off of the countertop and steps over to a broken back door leading to the outside. Much like the window the sky appeared the same. It felt familliar, yet he couldn't tell why that was. The grass and plants appeared to be growing wild outside, gently blowing in the midnight breeze. Dovey gently presses his hand to the glass, observing what felt like a scene he hadn't seen in decades.

[ If being in danger is what it takes to see more things like this, then.. I'd be willing to take that risk. ]

He turns to you, an intent look on his face.

[ I may not remember anything, but.. I can take care of myself. I'm clearly not able to get hurt - since I have no blood, or, well.. anything other than this.. goo making up my body. If someone like that sees me I doubt that they would attack, let alone hurt me. ]

Dovey had explored to what seemed to be the remains of a kitchen. He hops up and perches on the countertop, softly humming a song he wasn't sure why he knew.

[ I don't really know what a shower is! But sometimes before I realized I could talk to people, I thought about what an error was. And why they called them that. It's funny to think that even programs make mistakes too, right? ]

He giggles. Looks like Dovey is in a good mood!

He didn't really listen to that second part, quickly wrapping his arms around the anon tightly. Yeah. He was sticky, but not inherrently.. unpleasant? The substance that made his body was surprisingly warm. Dovey (as he picked his name just now,) hums and smiles.
