As much as the other insisted that he and Oyausa were the same person…his mind couldn’t accept that. Oyausa, however horrendously mean he could be, was still not a completely soulless monster. And as much as the other liked to deny it, he wasn’t completely lost. Not yet.

{{His thoughts, however, were brutally interrupted upon being flung into the wall. The noise of his brain being thrashed around as his head knocked against the wall was almost as terrible as the actual pain itself…his body felt abnormally heavy as he tried to lift himself, finding himself unable to stand without wobbling. Still, he pushed himself to go up, leaning against the wall, breathing heavily as to stop the dizziness buzzing about in his head. A slow, steady trickle of blood started to creep down the back of his head and down his neck.
