rumour has it that shinee in toronto is on the verge of being cancelled. SM is testing the waters to see how popular shinee is in north america and expectations aren’t being met.

ticket sales haven’t been that great unfortunately. i’ve heard things from people here how marketing has posted saying how such and such zone is 75%, 90% sold out etc. to buy time from sm and keep them happy. but the reality is, the whole show is presumably only about 35% sold out (assuming the venue holds 4000+ people). also my friend who knows people working/helping with the show says that sm heavily restricted how they were to market shinee to avoid competing with the Chicago one… but the reality is that both shows have the same or nearly similar set list (hence the similar prices… but hallyu north took the extra step to host more than just a shinee show to make up its worth through a 2-day expo with other guests and activities). if you are still waiting to buy… why are you still waiting?

at this point in time, i have to ask myself don’t we have more than 1500 shawols in Toronto and the surrounding area?! how would we ever expect them to come back to toronto for a FULL concert when they can’t sell out a one-hour fanmeet? i definitely would love to see a full concert from shinee one day and im sure everyone does too!

the point is, we need to help support the companies to drive up sales for these groups we all love and care for if we ever, ever want to see them set foot here again… or even next friday at this rate. TT let’s prove sm wrong before it’s too late and show shinee does have the support here to come back!
