PLS NOTE this post reflects only my personal opinion regarding certain works, you have my absolute permission to think differently (also note: it's called irony). now I see where all this things ppl are telling about Tumblr community came from.

Grisaille by InkBubble - so far this is my favourite work. I'd say it has of the most canon-complied versions of Verso in it, with all his goods and bads, and the text is deeply emotional and well-written. it's also a worthy tribute to Painted!Alicia. sometimes I wished for more dynamics, but nevertheless, I really loved it. wip.

Encore, Encore by acidmouthed - time loop!fic. not bad, but not really my cap of tea either. the sheer amount of repetition (meh, obviously) and dialogues from the game kinda forced me to skip some scenes. still, the characters are likable and I want to see where it goes. wip.

Alone With You by porgthespacepenguin - sweet piece with Gustave comforting Verso regarding his past. finished.

Butterfly Effect by porgthespacepenguin - this one is more anti-rec, really. the beginning was good, but at some point, Gustave mutates into a hysterical tearful mess, completely emotionally dependent on Verso. everyone is insanely invested in the relationship between two grown men, and the whole city has no greater concern than getting these two into bed. ugh. wip, btw.

this winter, I was depressingly playing Claire Obscure, and suddenly I was so inspired by Gustave I decided I need a change. so, I studied math, passed the exam, and submitted my application to the engineering studies.

and today I received an acceptance letter from the University! I will be an engineer
