at the end of the daniella bruce segment on 1988, she said that jonny said he checks nhl scores every night to see what kaner is doing :(

and hoped that that night wasnt the night he'd score his 50th 😂 i somehow missed this during the broadcast, i think i was too busy screaming lol

reminds me of that interview he did on 32 Thoughts podcast where he said he almost feels like a bad friend when kaner gets a milestone and he forgets or didn't pay attention because he's always reaching new ones. :( he's tuned in to this upcoming one for sure

I love how they’re like “has he ever told you…” and sid, visibly experiencing an emotion, is like no… no he hasn’t. he’s never told me these things out loud. he’s never told me that he loves me and wants his son to think of me as family, the way he does. he’s never told me that sometimes when he looks at me he can feel the red string of fate pull taut between us. he’s never told me that it feels like we must have been lovers in another time, another world, another life, because how can two people know each other this intimately when they’ve never even touched? and then they continue “…that he has nesting dolls of you in his house?” and sid’s like oh ha. ha ha . no he sure hasn’t. you learn something new every day
