“You gamble?” that was surreal. He hadn’t done anything like that since Karamatsu had died, it was weird to think about it.
“Ah, well, that sounds nice anyways.” he never won anything, his luck was shit.
He blinked at the question, frowning. “Why wouldn’t I be…?’ he questioned, trying to ignore the noise getting louder.
I DON’T WANNA BE HERE! I WANNA GO HOME! HE’S SCARING ME! NII-SAN!
“Yeah, I do! A lot of the time. I–” He paused when his phone went off, and then he grinned again. “Hold on, lemme just see who that was.” He pulled out his phone and read over the number.
“Ah, it’s one of my brothers. I’ll text him back later.” He muttered, looking back to the other. “Hey, I was just wondering! You look kinda… sad?”
Honestly he didn't know what to say, and he stopped when the other explained who it was, frowning more. His brothers were alive then, or at least one of them was. That was vaguely disappointing.
"Huh? You can text him now if you want... I know my brother had a heart attack if I didn't answer him right away..." He replied, not answering the question. He barely reacted to Karamatsu suddenly wailing at him.
What of you were hurt!? I was just worried about you Aniki! You're hurting! You should talk to someo--
And that was when he tuned him out.
