“I’m pretty simple in that sense but it changes given what I taste. At the moment I’m going to say pizza.”

What was your first kiss like?

“Interesting…to say the least. It was after I ran away, a new friend of mine kissed me on the mezzanine just as a train was passing by.”

As usual the library was quiet. Just a two or three bodies to be counted. Asmodeus kept his Charlie act up. He kept to his work and rarely interacted with his coworkers or visitors. It was easier that way when he wanted to watch the few who entered the library. He had found one person who interested him. Asmodeus kept his distance at first, following from a few aisles away. He finally circled around closer, making sure he wasn’t suspicious. Acting naturally, Asmodeus approached from behind. “Do you need any assistance? I can assist if you’re looking for something specific.”

Given how...chaotic her childhood had been, Jayson missed out on quite a few books regarded as classics that everyone should read and learn from. That’s why she tended to frequent the library to find what she’s been missing. Jayson is browsing through various titles, every now and again her eyes travel down to the list she’s made. She’s so lost in her search that she doesn’t take note of the librarian approach. When he makes himself known from behind her, she jumps, quickly spinning around to eye him. It only takes her a moment to realize who it is before she visibly relaxes. “Jeez, I know it’s a library but you don’t have to be that quiet.”

Zed knew he was late for his shift. This was nothing new. He had done this before. It was his thing. He had already been told off by Seb but being yelled at never affected him much. Pulling over a clean shirt over his head as he walked through the back door of the bar. He had no idea of the place was busy or not. He was just going to quietly sneak in and pretend he had been here since the beginning of his shift. Stepping inside, he walked into Jay. “Shit. Hey Jay.” He was going to keep of the act he had planned. “I was just on my way to take out the trash.” It wasn’t as effective as he hoped. “Okay, just don’t tell Sebastian. I’ll do whatever you want. I don’t to be fucking “talked” to again.”

Jayson practically jumps out of her skin as she bumps right into Zed. Letting out a heavy sigh as she realizes he’s late again. “We should get you a bell or something. Oh wait, you wouldn’t be able to sneak in late if you did.” She teases, raising a brow at his excuse. “Sure. You better work on that excuse.” She would never tell their manager that he was late, it wasn’t her business but she knows he isn’t that stupid to believe an excuse like that either. “Whatever I want? You got yourself a deal.” Jay smirks. “You get to wash all the glasses tonight.”

        “If that’s a real offer I’d take you up on it, I’m so thirsty,” she admitted. The town being on the down low about what people were was really throwing Bellamy through a loop. Getting blood was only easy because she had access to outside places that sold it, but it wasn’t as good as the fresh thing. “Quite true, just hope none of them piss me off too bad, will get a lot of angry calls from parents. How’s your night been?”

“It sure is.” With that in mind, Jayson prepares the drink accordingly. “I’m sure you can handle it even if they do. If you ever need help getting them down for nap time, call me and I have something that can help.” Jay smirks before sliding Bella’s drink over to her. “Eh, the usual. Trying to avoid the creeps, keeping on a nice smile, making drinks. Yours?”

       “The interesting sort of Bloody Mary or the regular sort?” Bella asked, raising a brow gently to check what she could mean. Her own establishments infused blood into drinks but since moving to Woodland Park Bella wasn’t quite sure if places did that. “Anything you think I’d like I’m sure I will,” Bellamy assured. “It was just a long day. Kids are…exactly as I remember, but was unprepared for.”

“Depends on how much you’re willing to pay.” Her smirk returns for a moment. “Then we’ll keep it clean.” Of course, those words were tightly laced with sarcasm. “Keeps you on your toes though, right?” As they spoke, Jayson quickly got to work on making Bella’s drink. Even though they were having a friendly conversation, she still had to work. @bellascreams​

        “What cocktails do you have?” Bella asked Jay as she sat up at the bar. Her face has some flour on it, as did the clothing she wore. Gucci jeans ruined with chocolate and strawberry stains but Bella was in no mood to go home. No, she needed a drink and thought she’d stop by the bar she’d seen an old acquaintance work at. Saying she and Jay were friends felt…well, not accurate as Jay had never much told Bella much about herself, but Bella had liked her. She tried to like most everyone. “I was thinking something gin based.”

“For you? I can whip up one of hell of a Bloody Mary.” Jayson teases, a smirk tugging at her lips afterward. “Or if you’re looking for something a little more casual maybe a Bramble? It depends on your preference really.” Normally she wouldn’t be so...helpful. Could this even be considered as being helpful? Whatever the case may be, this kind of banter with her being genuinely amused is rare. That has to count for something.

Jayson Akalin | Intro

Hi, henlo, how ya doin? It’s your local trashy mun Tian here back at it again with my bby Jayson! She is...a mess but that could lead to interesting plots so feel free to hit me with em! Anyway, onto the good stuff, here’s some info about her:

Beyond that she’s been on the run ever since, having lived across several states in that time. 

She tends to refrain from using magic for selfish reasons, still living with the mentality that she serves no other person but to do others bidding.

Piggybacking off that, Jayson has been trained and raised as a weapon and as such the magic she does use tends to be on the more violent side but without evil intent.

Jay isn’t good at making friends, her own fears overriding any loneliness. When she is able to make friends, she is fiercely protective and willing to do what it takes for them.

She is stubborn, cynical, and self-destructive. A bad combination especially when it comes to how impulsive she can be at times but despite all of this she still means well.

Jayson walks the fine line between Dark and Light magic and could find herself toppling over depending on her decisions. This means that given the right circumstances, she could go off the deep end and give into the darkness she was raised to follow or she could do a whole turn around and use magic only for good. It’s hard to tell which way she’ll turn at this point in time.

Despite the fact she is currently neutral, Jayson still views herself as evil and incapable of love or being loved though she rarely expresses that much.
