Marley giggles softly at hau’s frustration, pulling him close and trapping him in a cuddle .

“ oh, don’t pout, my little raichu ! “ he coos overly sweetly .

“ you’re still adorable ! look at you ! and much easier to hold . “ cuddle cuddle .

He smiles at Marley.

"No offense if you don't eat much, just have what you want."

An omelet and rice ball are all he picks for himself to eat and are carefully set on his plate. He raises an eyebrow at Hau speaking on the plans that they discussed. A nod and then a look to Marley.

"No, I have not made any changes to the plans. We did leave plenty of room in the day if you wanted to do anything specific. No intrusions on any plans other than what Hau just mentioned. This is supposed to be an excursion we all enjoy after all."

Marley mostly picks at his food, tired eyes scanning over his plate . he hums . " well, if it's all the same to the both of you, there's some pokemon i'd like to try to catch . "

" we could even get a few together . but if you guys would rather just accompany me, that works too . i've always wanted a pokemon straight from this region . "

"Good morning. You must have slept well."

Looker glances over at Hau while holding out a little piece of cooked egg for Loihi. Of course, Loihi can have some egg for being good and not trying to paw at him while he was cooking.

"Breakfast is nearly done. I was telling Marley that I thought you would show up just as everything was finishing cooking. Seems, I was right."

He gives a little laugh and folds over the last omelette and places it on a plate. The plate of omelettes is brought over and set on the table, alongside a plate of rice balls. A nice, cool pitcher of juice is brought over with glasses for each of them. He takes a seat across from Marley.

he himself didn’t get much sleep, as he tended to recently . Marley looked tired already, but in the mornings especially so . She yawned, gesturing for Hau to take a seat next to her .

“ it’s really nice of you to make this for us . I don’t eat much, so don’t feel offended, please . “ he laughs weakly, propping his head up by the elbow on the table . “ so what’s our plan ? anything we wanted to do today ? “

Damn Ree’s tiny four foot ten body. They reach up, waving their cane to try and knock the jar down, but Marley is much taller and stronger. Damn—!

They move to sit up, and the golden shinx on their lap leaps off and purrs over at Marley.

Ree laughs, throwing their arms around Marley — it’s so good to see her again! They giggle, pressing their face into his shoulder.

marley giggles, embracing ree firmly and picking them up a little as they hug . he ruffles their hair and presses an affectionate peck to their head .

and she smiled like the proud big sibling she was . “ i couldn’t bear to be away from you and hau for much longer . it was difficult, but it’s worth it . i hope we can celebrate your victory sometime . please, tell me everything . “

"Heh... You're right." They smile, nuzzling Marley's cheek. For a bit they simply snuggle, before speaking up again. "I love you." Hau grabs a hold of their hand, placing it on top of his head. "Play with my hair for a bit?"

“ i love you too . “ and with a happy hum, he begins to run his fingers through hau’s hair, swirling his fingers every once in a while .

marley holds hau securely, but gently, pressing kisses to his head every once in a while . " don't worry, love . we can have a good day right here . "

“Of course!” He wheezes slightly at the tight hug, but allows it for now. They missed Marley so much.

Hau wipes away his tears, before tending to his own. “C-can you lighten your grip a little, though—” A pained, apologetic smile was shot Marley’s way.

“ oh ! i’m sorry . “ he let go quickly, retracting his hands guiltily . he still smiled lightly .

“ are you okay ?? “ asked with genuine concern and a vague gesture at hau . “ you look ill ... “

They were half awake when they heard the voice. His breathing was still shallow and raspy, but at least with the medication, he stopped coughing as much and could get some sleep in. “Mm…?”

Wait a minute. “Mar…?” Their voice was all squeaky sounding, cracking occasionally as they talked. “—!! Mar! Y-you’re here? How?” Tears welled up in his eyes, and he sniffled. His first thought was to jump up and out of bed, but Ed, Hala’s Bewear, simply placed a paw on his chest, keeping him from getting up. The Pokémon had been watching over him as he slept, clearly worried about him.

With no way to get out of Red’s old bed, he reaches out, making grabby hands at Marley. Please come closer. “I love y-you too! So much!! I missed you!”

marley sobs softly, running over to hau and embracing them tightly . he hugged hau securely, pulling away a bit only to kiss at his face . after planting a couple kisses, he cupped hau’s cheeks .

“ i love you . i love you so much . “ tears were running down his face, but he was smiling .

“ my love ... i adore you . i couldn’t bear to be away from you for a single moment longer . please, let me stay with you . “
