Character Solidifying!

4. What type of discipline was your character subject to at home? Strict? Lenient? Considering it was Roderich who took care of Leo for the first 13 years of his life, I would imagine that it was a bit of both. Although he mIGHT have been a hardass with previous wards, the late 1990s was, thankfully on Leo's part, a different time. And perhaps because Leo was another Austrian. I imagine that Roderich wouldn't have been as hard on Leo, but he'd definitely try to establish a set of reasonable rules. But of course, Leo didn't make it easy to raise, either. But on Anneliese's part, Leo was a MUCH more docile, obedient child.

8. How does your character feel about religion?

Since Austria has been declared a religiously free country, Leo's gotten to know quite a few people from different religious backgrounds. And he's gotten interested in how similar and different they all are to each other. But I believe Leo himself was either raised Roman Catholic or Christian, I'm….not sure anymore? However, religious disagreement is silly in his eyes. Just let people worship what they want!

16. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like about it? Dislike? Leo has two major sources of income. Sometimes he gets an allowance /spending money from other Germanic relatives. And sometimes he gets sketch or painting commissions from people who see him in the park, or people who already know of his skill. He doesn't make a LOT of money this way, but he's able to get better, and he talks to some interesting people, and that's what he really likes about it. He DOES dislike when people try to write Leo off as a "poor orphan boy," or try to tell him that his prices are "too high for doodles," or why he isn't in school.

19. What were your character’s deepest disillusions? In life? What are they now?

When he was younger, Leo might have believed that he was really human. He might not have understood his status as a micronation, due to being so small and needing the care of another nation. Or that mythical beings were real, like the Krampus, just as any child would believe. Nowadays, Leo keeps an open mind on lots of things, so he probably isn't as disillusioned. However, perhaps one that might remain is that he might not ever see other bad things happen to Kugelmugel, like what bad things happened with other nations.

When Leo’s bored, which can also sometimes mean he’s hit an art block, he might venture into town, and just either people watch or spend time in shops. Or if he’s got enough money, he might just stick around Prater Park, and go on rides or eat amusement park food. Orrr if he’s out of other options, he’ll just wander around until he just ends up somewhere. Or just spend time with local kids. Or climb trees. Or if he’s home, he’d probably read, nap, or spend time online.

He’s a kid, he’s got a looot of ways to spend his time, lol  ~

🏚- Does your muse like to explore dangerous places?

Honestly, yes. Leo can be nosy, and really like exploring. But it all depends on how dangerous it is. If there was a definite way for him to get hurt, he’d most likely not risk it. Buuut if a grown-up told him not to go, then it would just make him want to explore the place even more. However, if he had to choose to be with someone while exploring, it would probably be an older family member.
