History Announcement:

Because this is summer school and you plebs shouldn't be having fun, I've arranged a educational and interactive field trip with the rest of the history teachers. At the end of the course, we are going to a Civil war reenactment. Why watch when you can participate in it? That's right. You all are going to dress up in costumes and charge at each other with mock rifles.

There's something to look forward to.

Your hump day report.

Chalk started flying on day one, making a trip down that hall hell. Erasers were chucked on Tuesday and today I saw a pencil cut through the air. Talk about dangerous, but this Tolley/Cortez feud doesn't seem like it's going to ever end. Maybe I built a laser to burn a hole through the ground they'll pipe down for a few so I can get some shut eye, I mean, supervise lab experiments.

Summer School!

You guys are the luckiest kids on earth. Do you know why? Well, it's because Hava Hills High School offers the summer school program. That's where young people like you can either make up for a bad mark in the grade before or fast track through a course you didn't take or you want to take in the later grades. So far, the courses available to you are the core courses (Spanish, History, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and some elective courses (French, Latin, Technology, Ethics, etc). It's a fantastic opportunity and only costs a month of your summer.

I, as you know, am the principal of this fine establishment and I have taken a commitment to overseeing how summer school goes. That is a month out of my free time to do something for all of you. Am I great or what?

Unfortunately, the paperwork for this program has been...destroyed, for lack of a better word, by accident and pasting together papers out of a shredder isn't going to cut it. We need those participating in summer school to let us know who you are and for what course.

Summer School!

Summer school is coming around the corner! A few courses available are technology, math, English, Spanish, history, and ethics! Whether it be to make up for a bad mark or to fast track for the next year, we're here to help you out so don't worry your little heads.

As for your grade, I'll at least need to see the journal entries. If they are valid, and I see you both participated as parents, then you will get a passing grade. But remember this project was with partners for a reason, so that will bump it down a few.

A few late messages from you favorite Sex Ed teacher.

I'd like to thank Ms. J for that lovely end of the year message, as a co-worker and a dear friend she has always been there for me and practically the rest of the staff. So I round of applause for her!

Though a few things have come to my attention, I'd like to thank Stove and Heather's baby and Andy and Grace's baby to make it back safe and sound (well not exactly for Andy/Grace but I do appreciate the effort in covering up most of the bruises with flower crowns and Vans stickers). Though I am missing Roxie and Logan's baby. If you could please return it to the office during Summer School hours, that would be great. Thank you all for being an ace class this year.

The end has come.

Dear students and staff,

I've been elected by the staff to give the whole "end of the year speech" because I'm likable and they're not.

This year has been super great and I am so, so, SO sad to see the graduates go. I've watched these kids blossom from awkward teenagers to young men and women. Good bye, my little blueberries. Not only are we losing our mathematical seniors, but we are losing a few staff members as well. Boo you, Sal. Boo. You. Fortunately, we're having a bunch of new and old ones coming in as well. I love new people. Spoilers, we're having new additions to the science department and the math department. Returning to our Modern Languages department to teach Spanish is Mrs. Herrera. Congrats on the baby boy!

And here's a special shoutout to our little music nut, Mr. Tobias Boot! Mr. Boot just started teaching here this year, but he is a natural. Not to mention a musical genius who won't fail to make you laugh. I can't wait to work with you again next year and it's safe to say that I'm speaking for the rest of the staff.

Now onto the serious topic of summer school. Yes, those two dreadful words. A few of our very own have volunteered to teach during the summer and they are going to take over this blog. I wish them good luck and I wish those that are taking summer school even more luck.

Summer break has arrived so have a good one!

I think I’ll miss everyone that ever leaves. Except for Loki. He’s the kid I worried about. I’ve taught these guys since their freshman year and I’ve gotten to know all of them. I wish them all the best.

SUMMER!

The best part of the year! Being a teacher is great because like you guys, we also get summers off! This week is going to be super great because we aren't going to do squat. Just relax and have fun! But show up for class so we can mark you for attendance. It'll be fun though! Movies and food! FOOD!

Feel free to ask any of use questions before the school year ends! If you want to ask us questions in person we'll most likely be in the staff room doing professional teacher things.

Well, now that I've finished getting my hair together and all, I'm Doctor (but you can call me Mister on here, if you must) K. I run the psychology course at the college.

It's Prom day!

As a member of the prom committee, I'm supposed to lay out some ground rules.

Un - No alcohol. I'll totally take that off your hands.

Dos - No illegal substances. I'll confiscate your weed.

Trois - No weapons. Pointy pencils count as weapons. Why would you need a pencil at a dance unless you want to stab somebody, huh?

Cuatro - Please don't have sex where people can see you. Get a room. Safe sex is great sex so use protection, please and thank you.

Cinq - Wear appropriate attire. This isn't a club. Besides, you're supposed to dress up all fairytale like. I expect to see fairy wings on someone.

Seis - Have fun and be classy!
