Brooke looked across at Haven with a smile pulling at her lips, noticing that he already had his eyes on her. She took a moment to run her eyes over him before realising that she hadnāt been subtle about it and quickly turned away, laughing at herself. āYou may have heard that line before but I promise that Iām not going to attack you or anything - definitely not in the way you expect anyway.ā She told him with a grin, wondering how he may take her answer. The blonde turned her gaze out to the horizon as he did, trying to imagine how it would have looked before the infection when the city was at its best. She heard him speak quietly, only just hearing his voice in the silence but not his words. She looked across at him once more, watching him carefully. āWhat?ā
Haven smirked at her answer, and shook his head. If she meant what he thought she meant, that was just plain ole' inappropriate. "I don't care how you meant that, you're a dirty girl, Brooke," Haven said, shaking his head but with slight curiosity and some other emotion he couldn't even decipher himself. Haven snapped out of his small trance of looking out into the dirty sky, and looked over at her, and sighed, preparing to gather their things for and him, and get up, "Nothing -- we should probably head back, though." he dismissed.
