07.06. Happy birthday to my apple🍎🍎🍎
Inner? Who are you? 🌸🖤
THIS IS AMAZING
A photo taken from a certain someone's birthday party this month. And it's still that month of March, so I'm still on time as far as my books go! Wanted to include all the members of the seven swordsmen we have knowledge of, which YES includes the two unnamed users of the Hiramekarei and Shibuki we see in the Might Dai flashback. Everybody is here! Kisame is having a GREAT time! Never mind the very late Ides of March happening in the back, this ain't about them -
Make your guesses as to who took the photo, I think it would be fun to see what people come up with in the reblogs/tags.
Version of the art unframed:
This is the funniest and stupidest line I have ever written in a roleplay 😭😭😭
The context here is that Mei Terumi said she might become an old lesbian if she can't find someone LMAO
🤣🤣🤣. This is gold.
tsunamei wordl domination
Hashirama’s eyes were slowly getting used to the dim room. He saw old scrolls, boxes, and books that were falling apart. The dust was everywhere. Only the torch burning in the back of the room helped him see the silhouettes of people around.
The First Hokage was listening to the echoes of voices, but he wasn’t recognizing anyone. They were all strangers, probably trying to run another round of experiments on his body. He was aware many people would love to plunge their dirty hands and surgical utensils into his flesh.
_Mizukage_. He was in Kirigakure. He remembered Byakuren. Somehow it didn’t surprise him that it was the Mizukage’s village that stole his body. They must have known who he was, there was no other way around it.
The feeling of his heart beating in his chest, pumping blood to all parts of his body, was thrilling. He almost forgot how wonderful it felt to breathe the air, even if it was stale, full of dust, and the smell reminded him of corpses.
“My name is Senju Hashirama. And I think someone tried to open my coffin,” he said, his voice low, and non-threatening. After all, there was a lady in front of him, and he had to behave. Especially when she was a Mizukage and could help him get out of here.
The fire burning on the wall cast a flicker of light on Mizukage’s and her man’s faces. They both looked quite young, almost like children playing in the attic. His eyes were fixated on Mei’s crimson lips. Hashirama’s eyes gleamed. Who would wear red lipstick to an autopsy? A vain woman. But Hashirama was one of those men who liked vain women. They were the perfect mix of smart, pretty, and unavailable.
“And I presume you are the current Mizukage. Fourth?” he tried to guess by looking at the books on the shelves around them. “And that you can get me out of here.”
Mizukage Mei swallowed. A droplet of sweat ran from behind her ear, over her neck, to the valley of her breasts. There, her heart beat so loudly that she feared he would hear it. No one knew the exact powers of the 'Warring States Era' shinobi. She knew the level of power she was up against. Mei's battle scars reminded her of her losing fight with Uchiha Madara.
She noticed how charmingly he steered the conversation. Mei put a finger to her cheek in a thinking pose. "Of course we can help each other, Lord Shodai." She didn't want him as an enemy.
"However... There is no where for you to go? I regret to inform you that the people you knew, are long gone. It might be better and more ethical to return to the Lord Jashin's domain, and leave the living world to the living. To put you back in the coffin, I could use your assistance with repairing the halves of the lid. My nails won't the survive manual labour of crafting you a new lid, but I will sacrifice them, if you insist. After all, it's my job to make sure the people in my domain are well taken care of." She didn't engage with his options.

Mei Terumi sat on a low table in a tea cafe in the Land of the Rice Fields. She was bored out of her mind. She had been waiting for an hour. She wished she had brought reports to read. She wished she had something to do, or some one to do.
She opened her ninja flip-phone, and against her better judgement, she opened the app called Tinderp. She swiped through the images. All men had set their availability to tomorrow. She wanted today. She wanted right now.
She saw a blonde guy's muscled back, obviously a thirst trap. She skimmed the rest of his profile, saw it was filled with gaudy tourist pictures (quite similar to the ones she had on her profile). He's not my age, she thought. She swiped MEET.
Hi, want to meet at the Kaching Tea Restaurant? My te stood me up, she typed, but erased the letters of the second sentence. Instead she wrote: Restaurant? I'm not really a talker though~ Can you keep me company?
And she thought, Why would any man ever talk to a hot woman if there's no chance of sex? She had to keep it real. At least in the Country of the Rice Fields I can swipe without getting recognized.
She lay her forehead on the table. "Uuugh~"
Booooored.
His newfound status as a hero meant that Naruto did quite a bit of travelling, mainly to meet with leaders of villages and daimyo's of the respective countries. His current travels had brought him to the Land of the Rice Fields.
It wasn't just the lords who wanted to meet him, however. Naruto's heroics had cultivated him quite the following in terms of female attention though he was often oblivious and saw whatever gifts he received as them just being nice to him. This obliviousness wasn't lost on his friend group, particularly Kiba, who often teased him for his lack of success with women. It was because of this that Naruto followed his suggestion to download the Tinderp app.
Naruto didn't want to make his profile too obvious so a lot of pictures had his face obscured or not fully in shot. He wanted whoever he met to like him for who he was and not the status he had attained. When his phone dinged and saw that he matched with someone, he smiled and quickly messaged back.
On my way!
He made his way to the restaurant and it was there he got a shock.
"Lady Mizukage?!" Naruto exclaimed with awe.
He matched with her?! He couldn't believe it!
He never uses diplomacy. Would it kill him, to keep his voice down? Mei actually kind-of liked that about Konoha ninjas. He was as loud as Tsunade, and she was a whirlwind.
"Ne? Naruto-san, what are-?"
W-what's he doing here?! Did I match with him? Is this a honeypot?
She had known that she swiped right on a thirst trap, but she didn't think anyone she knew would actually show up. Ah, what's the point of making it more difficult for him. If another blond man shows up for a date, I'll explain the situation. I doubt that man will be hotter than Konohagakure's He
She put a finger on her lips, and she patted the table in front of her. "Have a seat, and let's keep a low profile, hm?"
Even he, as dense as he could be, knew what the finger in front of the lips meant. Her words only reinforced his understanding. While his previous loudness may have contradicted this, Naruto was quite happy to keep things on a low profile. While now dubbed a hero, going from hated to now universally beloved was quite jarring for him. He wasn't used to all the attention and most of the time didn't even like it all that much. At least if he was going to be getting attention now it would be with someone that he was comfortable with.
Naruto moved to sit down across from Mei, a bashful smile on his lips.
"I didn't expect to run into you here, ya know."
Let alone match with her on a dating app. Then he narrowed his eyes a tad, bringing his bandaged right hand up to shield his mouth from anyone around them who may be listening.
"How come you're on that app anyway? Someone as beautiful as you shouldn't need one of those, ya know."
Naruto was so charming that Mei blinked, leaned back, and then awkwardly laughed. She fanned her hands and tried to wave the compliment away as if to clear the air between them. But the wind only felt nice to her face and neck, which suddenly felt really hot. So she resigned to fan her own face.
What a charmer!
The Mizukage glanced around the establishment to see if they were not being overheard, but her gaze fell not on people. Her gaze noticed every reflective surface that showcased a glimpse of Naruto. And the fractal reflections gave her the opportunity to admire him from all sides.
She swallowed. She she looked at his face. She leaned closer, bending over the table, and said quietly: "Ah ha ha, but public courtship has its downsides. The Kiri paparazzi kills romance faster than pirahnahs. What if I just want to meet someone for a quickie in the hotel room without a front page newspaper featuring a political analysis of the geopolitical consequences and international mayham in the case of a fallout. I want to not be chased by hordes of press.
"Hence, anonymity. That's why I am on the app in another country than Kiri. Sometimes I just want to be a woman who wants cock. But it's difficult to find a 'key' who fits my 'lock', you know? Maybe my standards are too high. Maybe I'm doomed to only date publicly.... Maybe I'll never find a man who can make me happy this summer and in winter my desperation for sex will lead me to hot springs, where I'll be forced to become one of those les-bians."
Slowly, her forehead sagged into her hand, and the shadows of gloom spread over her face.
"That won't do." Mei muttered. "Naruto. You have to help me avoid that fate. Wave over the waitress and let's order refreshments, so we can make a plan next. Have you eaten yet? Strong man like you needs to eat."

"Get this wooden coffin open," ordered Mei Terumi.
The Fourth Great Ninja War had ended, and one way to build up the country of Kirigakure was by raiding Orochimaru's abandoned hideouts, then using the technology in it.
A lot of negative words could be said about the Snake Sannin, but he was thorough in all parts of his work. Otogakure's methods to run a village were water-tight enough to even hold the fishy shinobi of Kirgakure. So it was easy to apply Otogakure's systems to Kiri, and the training regimen, the technology, and the child adoption programs, and the finance structures.
Only the jutsu were often way too dangerous to release to the shinobi population as a whole. So Fifth Mizukage Terumi Mei led jounin raids into the dark depths of the abandoned basements, to crack open walls that pirate raiders had missed. Behind those walls were vast libraries with jutsus vastly marked as mastered. That convinced Mei that Orochimaru was a terrifying creature.
Today the squad had cracked open a hidden storeroom, full of boxes and tubes. So she had stopped at the sealed one marked KONOHA 1, and she had ordered the Uzumaki jounin to unseal it.
"Stand back," said Maelstrom, and her hair flew up as she removed the Uzumaki sealing technique.
The containment seal removed the restraints on the outside, as well as the contents.
Swordsman Chojiro and the Mizukage lifted the lid from the box, and discovered it was not a box. It was a coffin. A shinobi coffin.
Everyone stared at the body.
"Is that the God of Shino-" Maelstrom began, and was immediately interrupted.
"LID!"
Everyone stared, and the Mizukage was already moving while they gawked.
"Lid goes back on!" the Mizukage thundered, and began to put it back with Chojiro's help. They were seconds away from sliding the ridge back into it's slot.
"Elite Sealing Technique! Forbidden Uzumaki-!" Maelstrom began.
The lid was open halfway when a loud exhale dominated the chamber. Then, a slight movement of fingers, a flicker of chakra that made the whole room vibrate with a sudden change of pressure. Senju Hashirama, the man who should have been dust, bones, and legend, gasped for air.
The light disappeared again. His chakra surged in a desperate attempt to free himself, cracking the wooden coffin in one straight vertical line. His hand shot up, not skeletal, not decayed, not pale, holding on to the crack in the coffin's top from the inside, his fingers poking outside, brushed by the rush of air, warm and humid. He towed the lid away. His body rose, like a remnant of ancient history waking from the ground. Another breath.
His eyes alive, not reanimated. His heart hammering. His pulse ravaging his temples. He was perfectly alive, warm. The lid slid away. And Hashirama started to cough from all the dust that bent to his chakra.
"What in the…" he looked around. He saw a boy with glasses. Uzumaki, because by some happenstance they were always there when he awoke. And a woman who seemed too eager, too intense, and too young.
"Why am I… alive?" he asked firmly. Perhaps he never died, not really, because his cells were alive, holding on by the force of his chakra. Maybe his soul just left for a while, but returned… now.
Mei watched in horror how a dead man came to life. The physical alarm, fuelled by war memories, made her body tense up. Corpse reanimation jutsu?
Her throat tightened. So she caught Mealstrom's attention with a gaze. She snapped her fingers, and covertly pointed to the they had made hole in the wall.
Her guard left immediately, vanishing. Mei heard her guard take the staircase with two strides in total.
Meanwhile, Lord First Hokage Hashirama had been coughing. He couldn't hold his breath like a Kiri-nin could.
Now only Mei and her other guard, Chojiro, were left in the dungeon cellar. And they had no means to seal Hashirama. Mei doubted very much that he was alive. But she wouldn't make the mistake of underestimating him. His gamble of immortality had paid off enough that he looked at least reanimated. Is this one of Orochimaru's puppeteering jutsu? Tch... too many questions. Too few answers, she thought. She had to admit he did look alive, and his eyes seemed normal in the low light.
Chojiro raised his sword against Hashirama. He seemed small compared to Hashirama's tall figure, but he stepped in front of her anyway.
Mei, like a chess queen, took a few steps back in the room full of boxes and tubes. The dust began to settle. The broken coffin lid lay on the sides of the Lord Hokage's feet. There's no way we can put him back into the box.
For good communication, she pulled the hat from her back and put it on--perhaps that would mean something to him in his post-post-mortum state.
"Mizukage-sama?" Chojiro asked nervously as the dust began to settle. He was as tense as a snare.
"Wait," commanded she, with an intense look at Hashirama. She would gather information about him first. Then, maybe try the diplomatic route. For now, she wouldn't give him any other battle information about herself at all.

From Naruto Shippuden
The main difference between Tsunade and Sakura is that Tsunade is a healer made to fight and Sakura is a fighter made to heal. Tsunade fights because for her it’s not enough to be there in the aftermath, while Sakura heals because she is only ever present for the aftermath.
