- Dilan moved to North Carolina when she was younger with her mother after she had been talking to a wealthy man. Her mother wanted a better life for them and felt that it was the way.
-While Dilan didn’t understand why they were getting vile looks from their neighbours, it only became apparent when she was a little older and things like mail order bride slipped past their lips.
-While her mother never let her believe she was unhappy, she could see it from the constant fights behind closed doors. Her husband was controlling and emotionally abusive, which forced her mothers hand into a divorce.
-They got little in the divorce but they were much happier despite the struggles they faced when they moved to north carolina to start over.
-Working as a seamstress, Dilan would help her mother and even went as far as to do her own business with selling the garments that she made to the girls in school.
-With time and the help of social media, her business grew larger until she could no longer run it outside of her mothers home. With her own store in North Carolina, Dilan continues to design for her line that is mainly online at the moment.
-Despite that, her newest venture is going to be dedicated to a bridal line.

As a little girl, Dilan’s dream has always been to become a fashion designer. While she hadn’t expected that her clothes would have afforded her and her mother the life it did — she’d somehow imagined something entirely different. She’d always wanted her clothes on runways and not on a site where people could easily buy and return clothes like any other store. Nonetheless, despite her own beliefs regarding marriage and love, she has set her sights on starting a bridal line in the hope of opening a store in town. She’s even set her sights on a pretty little boutique, all she has to do is convince the current owner to be bought out.

Since he was a little boy, Leslie had always seen his name surrounded by stars. He wanted the fame and fortune of the country singers he idolized. His parents who had their own success story in fields of medicine never really saw how their son could want to grow up as a country singer instead of something more concrete and stable, but they continued to support their boy’s dream.
He took singing lessons, was apart of the choir at church and in the few school talent shows he could do in order to get better. Sometimes he’d even watch documentaries on the different country singers to try to learn anything he could into being the best. His parents helped in buying his first guitar and setting up an old office space for his so-called sound studio. They made sure he still excelled in his schooling and kept up with their images of being the volunteering family with bake sales, parades, fundraisers. They wanted to make sure he could keep his humble roots and have a place to stay no matter what happened.
At the city’s summer fair in a talent show did Leslie find an opening for his goal. A talent scout from Raleigh had stumbled upon the city simply as a family get away trip and heard Leslie perform. Since then, his life of becoming a music star had lived for about five or six years with one small album under his name. He never did make it far simply because his stardom had been slowly falling off the charts with newer and newer people coming in to take his spot.
Now he’s back home in Havenport not sure exactly what to do next. So, he moved to his grandparents’ little farm and is helping them while he trying to figure out what he wants to do in life. It’s not much for him to go off on, but he likes to think that his hard work ethic and determination will at least help him get a good part time job to start while he takes in his parent’s advice on what they think he should do.

He has lived in Havenport his whole life besides when he went away to Nashville to get the classic country star experience.
His parents are both doctors, his father works in pediatrics while his mother works as a radiologist.
He has a younger sister who had a close relationship together but it has started to become strained with the pressure to figure out his plan B of life.
Though he has always considered himself wealthy at times, his parents made sure he never grew up to be someone who would flaunt their wealth over people.
Because of his upbringing in the medical field, everyone thought he would at least go to college for something in the medical field before his launch to fame.
He didn’t last long with the country music. It was about five or so years before things started to go downhill. He has one album under his name and a few popular singles, but nothing major like he had dreamed.
His grandparents are still very much alive but could no longer take care of their little plot of land like they used too. Therefore, he decided to move in with them so he could do it. It is not much besides a nice healthy garden and four horses.
Because of having to help fix things up around the house with help from the internet and the neighborhood handyman, he has been slacking on finding a part time job. He thinks working during the nights would be better.

Sean was born and raised in Haveport and only ever left the town for family vacations. He’d always been a family guy who loved growing up in the little town and being part of the community.
Growing up he had an easy going life and was considered a good kid. Except for the times he’d sneak out of the house to go to a party and his neighbor would snitch on him to his dad. It wasn’t fun being dropped off at school with a patrol car and his dad embarrassing him in front of the school.
His family is composed of a police officer who married a nurse and kids that ended up going in similar career pathways, but Sean was always a lover of food and coming up with creative creations of his own. Eventually he made himself become a chef and loves to make people fall in love with food.
Instead of going to college like his parents wanted, of course he went to culinary school and learned all he needed to to become a chef. It was tough commuting and having a life, but there was nothing he would trade it for.
There were times Sean considered moving away and try make it ‘big’ in another city, but he knew he wouldn’t receive the same support as if he stayed home.
At times Sean struggled with his sexuality. He knew that he wasn’t just attracted to girls and there was more he needed to figure out about himself, which is something he continues to explore but given that his dad has a strong opinion about the matter, it’s been a secret of his that no one really knows.

Sean’s guilty pleasure is reality tv. This guy could tell you everything that happened in previous seasons and all the theories possible. Although this information is not widely known.
He keeps a little journal/pad where he writes every idea and recipe he comes up with for his future restaurant. It’s his most prized possession and he’d literally gone crazy if he were to ever lose it.
He absolutely loves the water and would get caught swimming any time he has the time. There’s something about the temperature, especially during the summertime that he just absolutely loves and would stay in there until his fingers looked like raisins.
Dancing? Somehow he’s an excellent dancer despite of how clumsy he can be at times.
Way too competitive for his own good. A game of Monopoly would never end with him because he’d want to get to the finish line even if everyone else is trying to tap out.

- Peyton was the only daughter of her young thrill seeking mother. A first night stand with a boy who left college, she didn’t tell the father that she was pregnant until she gave birth to her baby girl.
- Without a father in the picture, a lot of responsibility was put on Peyton’s grandparents to care for their grandchild while their daughter went out to live the life of a normal teenager.
- Unfortunately, as many of the stories goes, Peyton’s mother fell into the wrong group and ended up with an addiction to prescription drugs that soon shifted to harder substances. Stealing, abuse, drinking under the influence — they all were charges that landed her in jail before her grandparents decided to adopt their grandchild.
- For the most part, Peyton’s life has been normal as she doesn’t always remember most of the bad things that happened with her mother. While her mom has come into her life every so often, their relationship has been stained to say the least.
-However, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree as creativity and a knack for adventure were main traits that Peyton held. Her grandparents were quick to realize that and soon tried to shelter her, which only made the blonde want to venture out further. Despite having fallen close to the same path her mother fell down, Peyton has managed to do the best she could to stay away from hard drugs and the bad crowd.
-Rather, she decided to pursue work instead of partying too hard ( despite still enjoying that lifestyle), but her main goal has always been getting money in order to travel. Her true dream is to get on the back of her bike and to just leave for a few months.
- It was that reason that she began to bartend while most of her friends wandered out of town to get big jobs or start some families. Despite her grandparents wishing that she would get something more lucrative, her bubbly personality has helped a lot with extra tips and saving more than she would at any other job.
-They’ve come around to trusting their granddaughter and supporting her dream. But things took a turn when she began to prepare to leave town for her first adventure. Her grandmother had turned ill and with her grandfather wheel chair bound, she put her dreams aside in order to help her grandparents.
-Most of the money she’s saved up as went into helping renovate their home and getting them items needed, which has hindered her for leaving. Despite still longing for those dreams she’d once set out to achieve, she knows that she would never forgive herself if she left and something happened.

Peyton has a few tattoos adorning her body. Most of which she has drawn for herself and given to local artists to bring alive on her form. Many of the ink on her is scattered and smaller, apart from her sleeve on her arm. Ever since a kid, she’s always sought out adventure which was why rather than buy a car like many of the girls her age when she first got her liscense, the girl went out to buy a motorcycle and got her motorcycle license for it afterwards. While she still has her first baby, she’s recently bought a car in order to have both her babies travel with her. Her babies being her two dogs that she had once fostered in the hope of finding permanent homes for them but ended up adopting them. She has a black lab named shadow and a pitbull mix named daisy.

Reyna was born in Toronto, Canada. She spent her childhood growing up in a small suburb outside the city until one day when her father was offered an amazing job opportunity. When she was 13, they moved to the States, an hour away from Havenport.
Reyna’s mother passed away when she was 7 and her older brother was 8. Her car was hit by a drunk driver one night when she was on her way home from work.
Reyna’s father is a well known marketing genius in the business world. After moving to the states, his career boomed and now he can live his life comfortably. (He’s got some money)
Reyna’s brother was her best friend growing up. Since they were so close in age, they were absolutely inseparable until their mother died. After that, their relationship drifted apart, especially after moving. Her brother became popular in high school while she did not. They kept to their own friend groups and only hung out at home.
Starting high school in a new country was weird for Reyna. There was a lot that was similar with how things are in Canadain schools, but some things were definitely different. The focus on sports, school dances and functions were tenfold than what she was used to.
Reyna has always been obsessed with cheesy romantic comedies, getting that from her mom. They used to put one on every Friday and cuddle up on the couch. It’s no wonder that Reyna would keep the tradition going, spending most weekends on the couch, in her comfies, watching cliche love stories until the morning sun. She spent so much time fantasizing about perfect movie moments that she missed out on making any of her own in high school.
She was always the one in the back of the class, doodling and barely paying attention, lost in her own daydreams. She kept to herself a lot, usually oblivious to the world around her.
She went to college to become a child psychologist, inspired by the lady who helped her after her mother passed away.
Reyna moved to Havenport after college, wanting to be on her own but still close enough to her father.

Reyna habitually drinks tea, never finding a liking for coffee. Every morning, she has a cup of orange pekoe tea with 2 milks and one sugar (depending if she’s feeling sweet or not).

The Great American Dream. That was what Rosa Velázquez Diaz had hoped for when she crossed the border into the dusty plains of Texas, with far-off fantasies of luxurious riches and bountiful wealth. Her immediate family was penniless, and had sent their oldest daughter to a distant aunt in Florida to work alongside them as a housekeeper, praying for a better life for their daughter than they had lived.
As soon as she landed, however, it was clear that her fantasies were just that — fantasy. Cleaning houses was dirty work, but she was obedient, quietly vacuuming floors and wiping down counters as the rich white housewives gabbed away, chortling into their phones. Rosa was ignored — except by one young man, David Scott, who always had a kind expression or a gentle word for the young woman. The son of an uptight, rich family, who had his wife lined up among a line of pretty young women, but Dave had fallen in love with Rosa. Six months later, Rosa was pregnant. The two had plans to run off, start a new life. After Adrian was born.
But Rosa — suffering from existing complications, passed during childbirth, and Dave, with nowhere else to go, returned back home. He was willing to submit to his parents wishes, as long as they allowed the baby to stay, and their parents agreed.

But in a world that only seemed to punish him, he had no intention of following its rules. Adrian had one passion: cars, and he was adamant on chasing after that fantasy. Harnessing the power of an engine was the only time he’d felt in control, and at twenty-three, he won his first-ever big league race, securing his fate.
Yet, his crucial fault was how much he wanted more, how much he craved the speed even when he wasn’t racing. Cocaine — a cheap replacement for the real adrenaline rush, but he was reckless with power and success. It was only after a near-fatal crash that he was ousted from the team, and his career ended — though, now, he saw it as a godsend. He packed up his belongings into his car, selling his cushy apartment in Miami, and drove everywhere at once, far away from his sordid past.
Moving to Havenport was a fluke. A simple rest-stop turned into a prolonged stay — he was tired of driving, of moving around constantly — and, his money had run out. Getting a job at the auto shop, Adrian has now been in the little beach town for just about a couple months, trying to live his life, one day at a time.

Though he mostly avoids his family altogether, Adrian had always been close to his youngest sister. He would do anything to protect the girl, and often played the role of the overbearing big brother in her life.
Adrian never knew his mother, but he kept her last name Velazquez, because he likes keeping in touch with his Mexican heritage. One day, he is determined to find his family on his mother’s side and reconnect with them.
Adrian has put his racing past behind him, and you’d be hard pressed to find him not obeying the speed limit. He’s determined to be a good person, though at times, his impulsivity and temper gets the best of him.

Cooper was always the outcast of his family, and never got along with his father nor siblings. Aside from Annie and Meg of course, and his mother. His older brothers and father just simply didn’t like him which was a shame. Though, as years passed he decided not to hold a grudge and try to being a relationship with them but they weren’t having it.
Cooper was undercover for over two years when he was back working in Narcotics, fell in love with his partner in that unit and then transferred out once the case was done and closed. Relationships aren’t his forte, so he ended up becoming a Homicide detective which is what he wanted to do in the first place.
After falling in love with this partner, she left due to personal reasons and Cooper once again transferred out and moved too Havenport. He spent his summers here as a child, since his grandfather had a house and took over once he passed. He’s been in town for 8 years.

Born in the next town over to Havenport, Cassandra lived there with her parents who had a very difficult time caring for her. There was lots of arguing, lots of careless spending on drugs and alcohol rather than food and clothes for their growing daughter.
She lived a rough life up until she was about fourteen, when the lack of care became more and more noticeable that child services ended up being called by one of their neighbours.
Once it was determined that her parents were unsuitable guardians they took Cassie to a foster home where she stayed for a few months before she met Arjun and Darren Ohana.
She was wary and confused when she now started living with them in Havenport along with their other daughter Karina but it was easy to adjust to when she realized how loving and respectful and overall amazing both Darren and Arjun were. She and Karina did have a rough patch at the start of her first year living with them but eventually, she came around and accepted Cassandra as a friend and sister before Arjun and Darren legally adopted her at the age of fifteen.
She spent her teen years living rather spontaneously which occasionally got her into trouble sometimes but not enough to tarnish whatever reputation she was building. Cassie was very outgoing and charming which gained her quite a bit of attention from people throughout the years, which she couldn’t deny she really enjoyed.
When she graduated high school, it took Cassie some time to figure out what she wanted to do for post-secondary education and at age twenty was when she decided to go to school for culinary arts in Charlotte which her dad’s were completely supportive of. She lived there during the school year, coming back to Havenport during holidays and summer break but continued to live in Charlotte for a couple years after getting her degree after meeting a man she was extremely infatuated with.
What they had started out as a fling but they became rather exclusive even if they didn’t label it. It wasn’t until Cassandra got pregnant at twenty four that things got complicated and she ended up going back home to Havenport alone to have and take care of the baby.
Once she had her son, her change from a crazy party girl who did what she wanted to have all eyes on her to a soft and protective mother happened almost instantaneously. She chilled out quite a bit and even started doting on people in town as if they were her own child.
Now, back in Havenport Cassandra juggles working at a bakery in town as well as taking care of her 6 year old son Julian.

Cassandra is currently 30 years old, her birthday is January 23rd making her an aquarius.
She has a pet corgi named Prince.
Before Julian was old enough to start school, Cassandra worked as a freelance baker and doing all of her baking and selling from home.
She used to have a fake ID that she got at 17 so she could buy alcohol and get into clubs with her friends.
She’s got a major sweet tooth and if she wasn’t trying to set a healthy example for her son, the cabinets would be filled with sweets.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Matthew grew up with a brother five years younger than him, and two doting but struggling parents. Matthew lost his mother pretty early on leaving their father to tend for his two sons. Matthew decided to study to become a veterinarian in the future but had to drop out after his father’s unexpected death.
Ended up raising his brother before Julian went off to college himself. Not really having the funds to pick up his studies anymore, he started working here and there and ended up working for this riding school where he met the Julienne.
Julienne was an upcoming singer, there to record her music video which starred the horses Matthew took care of. He taught her how to ride the horse and when filming was over they simply clicked, and started dating.
Over the years they got closer, Matthew moving to L.A. to be with her, and even welcomed their little daughter Eva to the world. They engaged a registered partnership rather than marrying, as Julienne wanted to focus on her singing career, and already had a fan club going for her, platinum records and performances in North America and Europe.

The trial that followed against the woman who took the life of his family was gruelling and took more from Matthew than he was able to endure. So as soon as the woman was found guilty and he had to deal with the aftermaths, he pushed everyone he knew away and left L.A. to go to the small town of Havenport and be away from everything.

He brought his own horse along from L.A. that he was allowed to put in one of the stables he works at. Her name is Lucy.
Matthew has enough money left to him after Julienne’s death, who had put him in her will. But one would never guess from what he does for a job, how he has a pretty small house and wears old clothing.
His birthday is the fourth of July, which is pretty rad.
