Terribly sorry that I've been radio silent this past week. For some reason, I was having a devil of a time logging in and being able to post. It could have been a problem with my computer in specific or my connection to Tumblr, but I really don't know. All I know is that it seems to be worked out or at least gone away, so I'm finally back!
That said, I have some updates, announcements, and general info for y'all!
First, I'm ditching the set days for acceptances. I believe I can handle getting everything updated and set up on a much quicker schedule, so I will be letting everyone know they've been accepted as soon as I make the decision. I'll still have to wait until evening to post the offical acceptance posts because I need to be on my computer where the graphics are, but giving y'all the head start on getting your character blog feels like a good reason to ditch the specific days.
Second, I'd like to remind everyone that we are a fully accepting safe space RP for alternate genders and sexualities. This is an AU game and thus you are not required to adhere 100% to canon. I do ask that the character remains recognizable as the character via personality and name when applying for canon characters, but I am very open to seeing alternate backgrounds, interests, and even identities for canons. All I ask is there's a believable explanation for the change if it's significant (for example, if Rachel hates performing in some way, please explain why as it's a significant part of her canon personality).
Third, I'm working on an event coming up that both current players and those thinking about joining us may be interested in! The Haven Resort Halloween Masqurade. Masks hide your identities. For one night*, the roles of guest and escort don't matter. You're free to approach who you please, accept the offers you please or reject the ones you don't care for. Both public and private stages allow you to release your inhibitions as you please with no one to judge you or make assumptions about you. It will be starting next week!
(*One night in game time. This event will last approximately two weeks in real life.)
Fourth, another reminder for everyone that we 100% accept Original Characters. They can be tangently connected to Glee - siblings and other family members for example - or completely disconnected. You do not have to be aware of Glee or even part of the fandom to be a part of this game given its AU status. The only non-Glee characters that will be rejected for being non-Glee characters are characters from other fandoms. I'm sorry, but this isn't a panfandom game at this time.

That depends on what you mean by active. If you mean lots and lots of posts a day to the point where if you have to be offline for a few hours to sleep, you're suddenly pages behind, then no. If you mean steady, albeit slower activity as we all adjust to school and other RL priorities and the advent of flu season, then yes.

Okay, being sick is not an A+ move when you're the only mod of an RP, which is why I missed being online much these last few days. As a result, I've decided to post acceptances as soon as I make the decision from now (10/8/2014) until Sunday night (10/12/2014) instead of following my usual schedule to make it up for y'all.

He grew up to be ambitious but practical, preferring the company of older people. While most children his age were out and about playing pranks and causing trouble, Sebastian spent his time reading and learning new languages and new things, playing sports and realizing at an early age that to be successful in life he had to learn how to use all of his best treats to his advantage.
He prided himself on the fact that he sometimes knew more things than his teachers, and he could always outwit his peers in any debates and since he was very young he took a liking for his father’s job as a lawyer and started on looking into light readings about the matter, accompanying his father to work whenever he was allowed to and always paying attention to the things his father said and every detail of the meetings he held with his clients or colleagues.
Being tall, good looking, well-educated and charming when he wanted, didn’t hurt either. People would think twice before crossing Sebastian, not that people would ever want to.
Once he was fifteen years old and always having had older friends he started getting a little reckless, sneaking into bars and going out to the parties his friends invited him to, but he never let himself be negligent of his studies and even though his parents didn’t agree much with his choices, they never stopped him from doing what he liked, as long as he always kept his grades intact and continued on attending whatever extracurricular activity he was signed up for at the time.
It was at age sixteen that he first got off with another man a bit older than him and in the corner of a crowded bar, and his sex life ever since has been active and, even though it sometimes got confusing, he has always trusted his gut when it came to his sexuality and never thought of the fact that he sometimes liked girls and sometimes boys as something to be worried about, the only thing he did worry about was making sure the sex he had was always safe and good. To him that was all that really mattered.
At age seventeen his parents and he moved back to the States, where his father became a Senior Partner at an important Law firm in New York and Sebastian continued his studies in that city, still somehow pushing himself to continue doing at least one sport, learning one language, getting excellent grades and still having time to party.
In spite of his parents’ social standing and influence, Sebastian never tried to use that to his advantage, always holding his own and fighting his own battles. He graduated college and attended Law School where he graduated with honors and soon after that, he was offered a spot as a lawyer for an important firm in San Francisco where he moved at age 25, two years after graduating from Law School.
When it comes to people, he has always believed everyone who can make him laugh and is smart enough to catch his attention is worth a chance, he’s of course always cautious about people but never o the point of being paranoid, even though he does have a close and tight group of friends and some regular hook ups. He started to become bolder though, when it came to what he preferred in bed, noticing how turned on he got whenever the other person got on their knees to suck him off, or when he was the one in control of what was happening. It was then that he started to look into the world of bdsm and started exploring it with a few already experienced people who taught him some things. Luckily for him, coming to San Francisco opened up a world of new opportunities to explore even more into his Dominant side.

Para Sample: Visiting Haven Resort was at the top of the list of things Sebastian had planned to do the first week of his arrival to San Francisco, before he started to work at the firm. He’d called in advance to make a reservation and ensure that he’d be received and treated accordingly. With an approving nod when he saw the building and its location, he got out of the car the moment the door was opened for him, buttoned his suit’s jacket and waved in thanks before making his way inside with a staff member trailing behind him chattering about things Sebastian didn’t care about.
Once inside, he turned around and placed a finger to the girl’s lips, giving her a small smirk “I don’t care about the prices or whatever unimportant things you keep talking about, please make sure I get a bed with silk sheets and your best submissive at my service, only for half an hour. That’s all it will take me to see if I’ll sign whatever binding contract you have prepared for me, alright sweetheart?” and with that, he stepped away from her, taking a seat in one of the couches at the reception, unbuttoning his jacket and taking out his phone to check mails and important messages.

The next thing she knew there’d be bars along all the walls of her undoubtedly ground floor hotel suite. God, she wasn’t fragile! How many times did she need to say it? She hoped that the managers at this resort would recognize her desire to independent.

She’d specifically told her manager that her wheelchair could fold tightly enough to fit in the trunk and she could get into and out of a town car just fine. But no, they wanted to ‘play it safe’. The next thing she knew there’d be bars along all the walls of her undoubtedly ground floor hotel suite. God, she wasn’t fragile! How many times did she need to say it? She hoped that the managers at this resort would recognize her desire to independent.
Sipping her drink in her chair, that had been fastened to the floor of the Land Rover, Quinn gazed out the tinted windows at the rapidly approaching façade of Haven Resort, and all of her prior misgivings were fading away. It was impressive, and certainly posh, with plenty of beautiful people about. No one with a clunky wheelchair, of course. But that was even better, Quinn Fabray was bound to turn heads, and that alone was more than she could’ve asked for. As the Land Rover rolled to a stop in front of the grand entrance, Quinn’s face bloomed into a brilliant smile, maybe she would wait just a little longer before firing her manager.
