Happy New Year

to all of you my friends. I hope that 2026 is a good year for all of you filled with everything that brings you love and joy.

I went in game, went into CAS and was gonna take a nice picture with everyone (Including Brynnlexa's child) to celebrate the new year.

But then my game crashed and I am not in the headspace to fix it right now lol. So here's a pic I took a month or so ago instead.

I felt like turning on sims 3 to see what happens while Im working on my crochet project. I loaded into the lot and here's Blaine playing in the snow with his imaginary friend. We are off to a great start :p

I used to use Google docs, but the white mode only was really annoying me (tires my eyes), so I swapped to Ellipsus (which I genuinely love and recommend), but it was bothering me a bit that I need wifi in order to use it, so now I switched to LibreOffice Writer, which I do like.

It very much has a Microsoft Word feel, but is open source and you need no accounts to use it. It's local on your device, so no AI can scan it, and no wifi is needed.

I still wish it had the Google Docs cards, because, bitch, that thing is so good for easy organizing.

Fake dating I guess. All the stories I have read with that end up having cute funny moments.

I prefer enemies to lovers, I find it more interesting than best friends to lovers.

Fantasy AU or modern AU?

Fantasy AU, I find modern AUs kinda boring. I don't want to be reminded of the modern world. I don't want what made the world a magical place taken away.

Mutual pining or domestic bliss?

Mutual Pining is my jam (haha catomi)

Smut or fluff?

Smut and then the fluff for the afterglow lol

Reincarnation or character death?

Character death, that goes along with hurt/comfort for me lol.

One-shot or multi-chapter?

Since I love slow burn give me that multi chapter with the mutual pining along the way. Since I love enemies to lovers for me one shots just don't make sense. They aren't gonna be in love by the time the oneshot is over unless the one shot is the length of a multi chaptered novel lol(Which I have read) but by that point just split it up into chapters XD

Kid fic or road trip fic?

Road trip fic. I have kids in real life, I love them dearly, and since having kids Ive noticed how people who don't have them write them in fanfic. When it comes to fanfic I find that the kids usually end up being an OC and don't act like actual kids or act too young or old for their age which is something I'm NOT into and just makes me cringe. Also I read for escapism and if there are kids in the fanfic I start thinking and worrying about my own kids XD. If it's a simfic sure give me that kid fic. It makes more sense for the simfic because a lot of the time they are having kids to make the generations move a long and I like seeing the cuteness.

Arranged marriage or accidental marriage?

High school romance or middle-age romance?

both, though me myself I have only written high school romance cause legacy stuff lol. I wanted to eventually write a middle age romance but I never got around to it.

Time travel or isolated together?

Isolated together, they are isolated in a cabin during a winter storm and there's only one bed! omg!!!

Neighbors or roommates?

both, both are good.

Sci-fi AU or magic AU?

Always magic. Always. (agreed with previous poster)

Body swap, it can usually end up with some funny shenanigans

both, I like to feel all the emotions

Mundane, unless the apocalyptic doesn't have zombies. I don't do zombies.
