Hi! I’m Isaiah (he/him), and I do fanfic theoretically. 

This is not my main blog. My main blog is anderfels. On that blog, I post about video games and various other stuff. My other blog is 616s. On that blog, I post about Marvel and DC comics, with a little bit of MCU. This blog (hawkbucks) is very text heavy and not very aesthetically pleasing, if I’m being honest. 

I do not do commissions. Everything on here will be free, and nothing will ever be behind a paywall.

I cannot guarantee that your request will be filled the second you send it in. It’s not because I don’t like you, honest! It’s just that my motivation is fickle. It appears for all of 3 seconds and then disappears for the next 60 years. Hence the “theoretical” fic-doer. 

I don’t title 99% of the stuff I do, and for that I apologize. I’m just crap at coming up with titles. If you really want to know what I’d title something, just send me an ask with the fic and I’ll rack my brain for a response!

I mostly do MCU-based things as that is what I assume 99% of people are familiar with. If you wants a comics-specific request, don’t be afraid to say so! 

I mostly do BuckyTony or SteveTony. Other ships that are known to pop up are PepperNat and SamTony. (Please talk to me about my PepperNat agenda.)

This has also turned into a Genshin Impact blog for some godforsaken reason. Talk to me about ZhongKae and Chaeya. Everyday I wish for a Diluc and Kaeya on-screen reconciliation.

My favorite Marvel characters are Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, and Natasha Romanoff. I’m sure that doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone. I also enjoy Kamala Khan, Elektra Natchios, Emma Frost, Jean Grey, Remy LeBeau, and Kurt Wagner. My first Marvel love was Johnny Storm, and for him my heart will go on. 

My favorite Iron Man writers are Kurt Busiek, the Knaufs, and Len Kaminski. 

My favorite Captain America writers are Mark Gruenwald and Ed Brubaker. 

My favorite Black Widow writer is Marjorie Liu. 

I sold my soul to Jonathan Hickman long ago. 

My favorite artists are Don Heck, David Marquez, Valerio Schiti, Pepe Larraz, Alex Maleev, Kevin Wada, and Jorge Jimenez. 

My favorite musical artists are SHINee, f(x), Red Velvet, BoA, Block B, Carly Rae Jepsen, and those “classics” from the 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, and early 00′s. 

I have an unhealthy love for boba tea. My organs are all boba. My blood is but Thai tea and Okinawa milk tea. I am also a weirdo who doesn’t like lychee, apparently. 

I’m a Gamer Boy. I like Bloodborne, Dark Souls, the Tomb Raider reboot, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Uncharted, Resident Evil, and some other games I’m neglecting to mention. And uh. Fortnite. 

I love collecting actions figures and statues of my favorite characters. I love collecting in general, honestly. 

Rod Reis liked 2 of my tweets and I consider that a crowning achievement.

I like fluffy DickJay as much as the next person but a part of me yearns for the Guilt. I yearn for the Misunderstandings. I yearn for Jason making everything Dick's problem because he refuses to go down by himself. I yearn for Dick's temper causing both him and Jason to devolve into screaming matches over the most insignificant of things. Yes, they're 2 seconds away from imploding in on each other at all times but they're so intertwined that they won't let go.

I'm not suuuuper big on Tim/Jay but there's a specific dynamic where I think it works wonderfully and it involves sadomasochism and them seeing arguing with each other/beating the hell out of each other as flirting.

Spidey/Hood has to be an industry plant ship I genuinely think Jason would eat Peter alive.

Me personally I think Dick's hallucinations of Jason should've been meaner.

Dick doesn't have to tell Jason he loves him.

Jason knows in the way that Dick lets his hand linger on the small of his back whenever he passes by. He knows in the way that Dick stops by his patrol route with a midnight milkshake whenever it's slow and he wants to be with someone. He knows in the way that Dick, above all else, stands up for him and chooses him, no matter what others think.

Jason doesn't have to tell Dick he loves him.

Dick knows in the way that Jason is always watching his six, even if he does heckle him for letting someone sneak up. He knows in the way that Jason reads for him over the phone when sleep seems like an impossibility. He knows in the way that Jason presses a key into his hand and says it's for his main safehouse, so he can come by whenever.

Pull List AU where Steve eventually sets up a booth in Artist’s Alley at a comic con and is flabbergasted at the amount of people who show up and buy his things. A couple of his prints actually sell out within the first day, and no he did not cry when that happened, shut up, Bucky.

Tony and Natasha become Steve’s own little marketing team.

(“You should check out our friend Steve’s booth,” Tony says as he’s bagging someone’s purchase. “He’s actually the co-founder of our shop, and he’s insanely talented. Like, insanely. He’s in C41, you should go!”

Natasha, on the other hand, is a bit more blunt. “Our co-founder has his own booth set up in C41. Go–” she hands them their bag– “and buy something. He works hard.”)

They end up selling the leftovers at the shop, and it doesn’t take too long until those are gone too.

ALSO: they host a signing for Steve at the shop after his series gets way more popular than he would’ve expected. 

The line ends up going out the door and he is very nervous-slash-excited for this because oh my god, his first signing! but also oh my god, his first signing. He’s dealt with crowds before, but none that were there for him specifically, and definitely not in this more intimate matter (the shop is not as large as the Artist’s Alley at NYCC, he can tell you that). 

He ends up making sure that he can talk to everyone about whatever they want to talk about and sign everything that they might want signed. His hand ends up hurting at the end of the day (seriously, he’s pretty sure he can feel it pulsing) and all he wants to do is sleep for the next week or so, but it was very satisfying to meet people who like his work. He was even able to score some commissions and sell some of his proofs. 

All in all: a good day.
