INTRODUCING WINTERIRON MONTH 2022
Calling all WinterIron lovers! WinterIron Month is back for another month of Bucky/Tony fun! Special shoutout to @gayspacesprinkles who made our banners this year!Ā
EVENT INFO:
WinterIron Month is a month long event with the intent to create new works but also recommend works created by others! There are two (2) weeks in which prompts are given. There is one (1) SFW prompt week, while there is one (1) NSFW prompt week. During these two prompt weeks, there are three (3) prompts given each dayāyou can choose which one(s) to doāand you are more than welcome to combine all three prompts for a day.
All types of creations are accepted whether it be writing, artwork, moodboards, fanvids, playlists, crafts, or anything else! The type of work you want to create is yours to chose from.
The other two weeks are rec weeks, one (1) week for SFW recs and one (1) week for NSFW recs. During these two weeks, there are a general (or at least we tried to make most of them broad/general) category in which you will recommend another creatorās work that falls under that category!
You can participate as much as you would like, there is no minimum amount or maximum! We just want people to have fun.

au where bucky is a cart boy at a country club and he meets tony who is reluctantly golfing with (redacted), ty, and obie. bucky immediately hates like tony bc he assumes heās another one of those snobby rich white people that have a great life (which isnāt the case). tony, on the other hand, is smitten with bucky but doesnāt do anything about it bc 1) heās in a (abusive and toxic) relationship with ty and 2) he knows bucky hates him. eventually, tony starts to frequent the country club more in an attempt to at least be friends with bucky. then bucky realizes that tony isnāt as bad as he originally thought and oops he starts to fall in love with tony and a lot of drama happens bc yes

Big Oof
"No," Tony whispered, hands coming up to cover his chest, where his heart was threatening to beat its way out.
"I'm sorry," Steve answered miserably. He looked like his heart had already been torn out and stomped on. "He did it for you."
"For me?" Tony repeated, jerking his head to glare up at him. "For me?!"
Steve reached out to grab his shoulders, and the tears he'd been fighting back won the battle, flowing over his lashes to roll down his cheeks. "Tony. You know why he did it."
"I had the suit," Tony croaked weakly, unnerved by Steve's tears.
Steve said nothing, just turned his gaze on the rubble that had once been a Hydra stronghold. One of the scientists had set off the self-destruct. The bombs had been thorough.
They both probably would have made it out, if Tony hadn't been struck in the helmet by debris so hard that the suit had died instantly and he'd crashed mid-flight. Tony was still bleeding, a long cut from the right side of his scalp down to the corner of is left eyebrow. Bucky had stopped to rip the suit open, and then there'd only been time for Tony to get out--and only because Bucky had used the last of his adrenaline and strength to fling him out a window.
Thor had caught him and dropped him into Steve's waiting arms, but by the time he'd turned to go back up for Bucky, the building was already collapsing. Even the suit wouldn't have survived the weight of the entire building on it.
"Tony, please," Steve whispered. "Look at me."
"You lost Bucky again," Tony whispered back. "Because of me."
"I lost Bucky again because of Hydra," Steve corrected sharply. "You didn't make that building come down, Tony, they did."
"I loved him. But I never told him. I was too scared," Tony whispered, and finally looked back up at Steve, losing his battle with tears as well. "Do you think he knew?"
Steve stared at him, somehow managing to look even sadder than he had before. "He knew," he answered quietly, eyes falling to the ground. "He knew."
Tony kept looking at him, trying to figure out if he was lying to be kind. Steve was kind like that. Unkind like that, too. He could only imagine how Steve felt, trying to swallow down his hurt to be strong for Tony, even though he'd lost his best friend for second time and again hadn't been able to save him.
So that meant he was watching when Steve's head shot back up, hand flying to his ear to press his communicator back in. "Steve?"
"What," Steve breathed.
Tony stared up at him, confused, as he heard a tinny voice respond. He wished he had a communicator. He wanted to know what Steve was hearing to make him look like that.
"Tony, it's--" Steve began, looking cautiously delighted. Then he stopped. His smile fell.
Tony frowned in concern. "St--"
"DID YOU JUST CALL WHAT HAPPENED A BIG OOF," Steve bellowed, and then stormed over to the rubble and grabbed a rock to throw it on top. "FUCKING ASSHOLE I'M OVER HERE COMFORTING TONY AND YOU TELL ME BIG FUCKING OOF I HOPE YOU STAY IN THERE UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY DIE YOU MOTHER F--"
"Here we go," Thor said kindly, scooping Tony up to take him to the medical tent being set up. "You want to look nice when Bucky's dug out, don't you?"
Tony blinked up at him slowly, still trying to figure out what happened. His lips spread into a tremulous smile. "He--is he-?"
"He must have found a small pocket to hide in," Thor surmised, setting him down on the first cot set up. "It will take a while to dig him out, but he's got time. Apparently he's using an oxygen supply from your suit."
"I hope Hulk finds him first," Tony said as a medic began blotting at his bloody forehead. "Steve looks mad."
Thor privately thought Bucky deserved it, because Steve had been the one who had to make Tony think he was dead and then called what happened a 'big oof,' but he didn't say so.

Enemies to lovers, Agent Stark and Agent Winter have to work together for a mission. Stark relying on his handy tech gadgets, while Winter uses brute force to kick down doors and attackers.
Then, the hotel unfortunately has only the honeymoon suite left avaialble! Agent Stark dancing in a bathrobe with a drink, unconciously seduces his new arch nemesis?
Agent Winter get a glimpse of his companions pacemaker throught his bathrobeĀ and becomes strangly protective of him in the field. Much to Starkās confusion.
But what is this Winter Guy hiding? Always wearing long sleeves+gloves, having this inhuman strength. And why canāt he remember his past?
