“I just got this Bad Binch Tong Tong lime green architectural dress the day before, and HAD to wear it, so I built my outfit around it. I paired it with my fave Dries Van Noten “gogo” boots, this 60s velvet patchwork vest, and gaudy 1980s gold accessories. I get my style inspo everywhere. “I’m wearing Celia B dress, Studio Arik necklace that I extended with some carabiners and license plate attachments, Urban Expressions bag, boots are from Cavenders in Texas that I got when I was 15 years old. My style over the last year has had a bit of a symbiotic relationship with the paintings I make – vibrant color and lots of bold patterns. I did a body of work about growing up in Texas recently and it made me fall back in love with wearing cowboy boots with everything.
