Super Mario Bros. Wonder adds a new visual flourish to Question Blocks that was never present in the series before.
While some games, such as Super Mario World, have featured Question Blocks where the question mark was scrolling sideways, and always aligned with the next block if those were placed in a horizontal row, the new element that Super Mario Bros. Wonder introduces is making the question marks separate from the blocks, moving across the entire row at once.
This causes the movement to be much smoother than before as now the question marks are sliding across the edges of the blocks without any separation.

In Donkey Kong Country 2, Animal Buddies count as enemies for the purpose of “Destroy Them All” bonus rooms. These bonus rooms each contain a specific number of enemies and spawn a Kremkoin when all of them are defeated.
However, if the bonus room contains a No Animal Sign and is entered with an Animal Buddy, the Animal Buddy dying upon passing the No Animal Sign will count as an enemy dying, adding to the counter and allowing the bonus room to be finished by defeating one fewer enemy.
In the bottom footage, note how the first Flotsam stingray enemy is deliberately left alive. Leaving any enemy alive would normally cause the Kremkoin to not spawn, however, upon Enguarde turning into bananas at the end, the Kremkoin does spawn as it counts his death as a defeated enemy, bringing the count back up to the full number of enemies in the room.

Have you ever seen an SMW Hack where a black block with an angry expression turns into a collectible coin by pressing the blue P switch?
