When I checked the challenge, along with other people's take on it, most of them have these "items" or "services" which was really cool and I really wanted to make something like thatβ except I don't think Hayati would have that as the student council president TvT... SO! Instead of items/services, I just let [PLAYER] (or [Y/N], both are same-) to have these choices on how will they approach to Hayati!
Each choices have their own endings. It's not too longβ it's really simple, I js wanted to get the whole "video novel/video game" vibe through video editing TvT ...
about Hayati (aka your oc or projection?), what will she be like if she's the opposite of herself? Like moon to sun, and how will the two interact with each other?
Feel like the opposite sun-themed version of my oc... would be Hayati that:
Got therapy
Made healthy friendships without constantly worrying of them leaving her
Has more than 20 friends and doesn't get jealous her friends has other friends
Has understanding parents
Very optimistic and knows her boundaries (she knows how to say "no")
Has a healthy eating and sleeping schedule, and isn't too dependent on coffee. Probably enjoys chocolate milk.
Yeah.. pretty much like that. This 'Sun' Hayati would be everything that the og Hayati wishes she could've been.
Opposite!Hayati meets OG!Hayati
I still wanted to keep 'purple' as her (opposite!hayati) favourite color, but instead of liking black, the she likes to pair it with white instead :>

I have been saving this in my drafts for too longβ and I'm using this sudden fill of motivation to finally make this short comic before I burnoutβ
Finally I can yap about this SPECIFIC moment I've thought every since I made MI!Hayati. It honestly took a while to decide which power I should give to her that shouldn't be 'too great' but can definitely improve overtime + relate it to Hayati's traits.
If anyone noticed, most of the powers I give to my oc are either: Dark Energy Manipulation (my main), Lunar/Moon-themed Magic (my 2nd fav), being a cat, or a mix of these.
But for MI, I decided to go for the "whatever she draws comes to life, but has LOTS of conditions" cuz I thought specifically of this moment which could be part for her "improvement" throughout her studies & trainings in MI. (Obviously not the biting self-h4rm part) It's discovering she doesn't need ONLY natural-based ink pens (from octopuses/squids)... because if u remember, her manifestation for her drawings only work when the "ink" comes from a living being. Doesn't really have to be pure black or even have color, as long as smth liquid comes from a living being (or used to be a living being), it could technically be used as an ink to her drawing which she can manifest to life.
I also like to add the kind of 'ink' (from a living being) she uses, affects her creations. When she made drawings to life or reality using a personalizsd pen with octopus ink (expensive pen yeh yeh), her creations are weak or wouldn't last too long (or would only last if she draws and uses more ink for more 'stability'). Not because octopuses are weak as living beingsβ but because the pen was still manufactured in a factory/handmade in a pen workshop (??), so the 'living essence' from the ink gradually fades.
But! As you can see in the comic, MI!Hayati used her own blood as a last resort to try and pass the test, and made a demonic entity. Because the blood is fresh, her creation has more strength and durability compared to what she can make with the pens she bought.
I just have the urgeβ but it's not gonna be overtaking the comic since it's js an AU (like Daycare AU)
This analog horror au is js simple, main focus about survival INSIDE the university after it locks down and traps students inside with no way out, no connection or any access to the outside world (yes, even online).
I'll probably explain a lot more once I do make like an "introduction" video :>
They're both not-too-social so that's something they have in common. I feel like it would also work given they're hiding smth from people (David & his scar, Seiki & his demonic identity) so I HC they would be vulnerable to each other which makes them closer than "just Hayati's friends".

Idk how to feel about this. I mean it could be worse... I think they'd just work better as friends. TvT
3. Double Date: [A] Hayati x Seiki, [B] Melissa x Phil
[A] honestly is supposed to be canon but I scrapped it off, but I think it's still special to me so 8.5/10 <3
[B] They'd be a power couple ngl. It'd suck for Melissa if she did ended up dating Phil knowing he sleeps sees not just other girls, but guys too (#pansexual). But yeh, they'd trend in social media soooo... 6.9/10
4. Quadruple Ships: [A] Phil x Hayati, [B] Seiki x Chloe, [C] Melissa x David, [D] Samuel x Kyle
[A] I mean in the comic, Phil has flirted w Hayati (but doesn't mean he's romantically interested)... but if he were, it'd give that trope "she's not affected by my charm" ahh π Ig maybe js 3/10.
[B] They'd be the most intimidating couple in the campus ngl. Dom x dom..... heh. Unfamiliar but not an unwelcomed idea... 5/10
[C] A "popular girl x loner boy" troupe. Probably unhealthy too (for David's part) so 5.5/10
[D] uhm... yeah idk how that'd work. Feel like this is the kind of ship where Samuel would have "internalized hom0phobia" so kinda feel bad for Kyle... 2/10
5. Gacha Harem: Samuel x everyone
Well, he is one of the most popular students so it's already canon in a way. (Js not w most of the main casts) so erm. I think a decent 6.7/10 ?
6. Forever Alone: [A] Phil x Samuel x Melissa, [B] Hayati x David, [C] Seiki x Chloe, [D] Kyle π₯²
[A] lwk already feels canon cuz Samuel & Melissa are dating and it feels like Phil is occasionally third-wheeling between them lol. 8.5/10
[B] Oh David would love for this to happen. I mean them as a couple, I think it'd be fine. It would probably be like a normal typical romantic relationship with the 'ups' and 'downs'. But definitely much healthier than Hayati x Samuel or David x Melissa... 8/10
[C] eh, same rating as in the 'Quadruple Ships'. 5/10
[D] Kyle x no one... my poor boy who has so much love to give but has nobody... honestly good angst, but still don't want that for my boy, 2/10 (2 pts only for angst)
