The Dollar Store isn’t where most teens imagine being on a sunny Saturday, but here he was. Granted, he was picking up supplies for his dorm room and all his family could afford was stuff from the dollar store, but nonetheless, the store was pretty much empty. Except for one other teen, who appeared to be struggling trying to reach something on the top shelf.

It was times like this that he was glad for his gargantuan height.

The boy pushed his cart over and tapped the person’s shoulder, pointing at what he thought the object the person was reaching for was and then himself.

After buying a ton of cute pencils and pens from target, Hayley knew she needed a little cup holder to hold all of them. She only thought about this idea when she was walking home sk she decided to head over to a near by dollar store. She looked in every isle only to see the only few cup holders on the top shelf and she tried to reach, but her height made it impossible. She sighed but gasped when she felt someone tap her shoulder. She turned to see a boy standing there and pointed towards the item she was needed. Hayley smiled lightly and nodded, "Yes, please. Can you get me two?" Her voice light and delicate. "Thank you."

Hayley & Lyric || Company

Hayley awoke from a 5 minute nap when she felt her room become a bit hot. The past 24 hours were spent with her battling the coldness her body was feeling. Her room had the been set to warm air instead of the usual air condition. She was sure she was becoming sick due to the fact that she practically adventured around the woods without a jacket and left her air condition on while naked in bed. Prying herself from the bed, she slid on some underwear and a loose white t-shirt. Her head was throbbing from a hangover and she sighed. She picked up her phone and facetimed Lyric, someone who was very close to her. “Lyric..? I haven’t eaten since yesterday afternoon and its 7 pm right now.. Do you think you can bring over some food or is that too much to ask for?” Her hair was a mess and she was pretty much paler than usual.

“My dad tried to build as much for Kevin and I when we first moved in with him. I never really enjoyed the pool until now.” Hayley honestly said before waiting for Rickey to slide down. Afterwards, she did herself and swam up for air. She looked at Rickey, moving towards him and then smiled. “You know, you’re welcome to come by anytime.” She shrugged and pushed herself out again only to sit on the side of the pool. At this point her body was dripping wet and her hair stuck to her skin. Hayley casually ran her hands through her hair and watched Rickey, biting her bottom lip. He’s so cute, she thought. And that body is so… ugh.

After sliding a few more times, Rickey just decided to lean on the edge of the pool. His upper body was out, elbows on the deck but his lower body was still submerged in the cool water. “I don’t take it you have a butler or something that serves pina coladas?”

Hayley pried her eyes away from the boy next to her and looked up at the sky. 9 pm and the stars were just starting to peek through. It was a bit hard for her to see due to the lights on at her house, so she made it a mission to turn off all the lights she could in and outside of the house. When she came back, the stars were now as brighter than ever. She sat back down and looked back at Rickey. "Nope. No butler. But I have Sunny D in the fridge." She shrugged and chuckled.

Hayley smiled and looked down at her bikini adjusting it slightly. “Thanks. I got it in New York. The hotel I was staying in had a pool on the-” She squealed and was submerged in the water. After a bit, she swam up and shoved him playfully. “RICKEY!” She yelled before smiling at him. The area they were in was pretty deep and it forced Hayley to tread. “So… You wanna go on the slide?” She nodded at the slide and in an instant she started to swim towards the edge, placing her hands on it and pushing herself out.

“There’s a slide too? Can your parents adopt me? I wanna live here,” Rickey chuckled, going under the water only to come up again. “I mean, it’s pretty awesome that you just live down the street. Don’t be surprised to just see me in your pool randomly,” Rickey joked, swimming towards the slide. He climbed out of the pool and quickly climbed up the slide, holding his nose as he came down the slide and into the water.

Hayley chuckled and stretched in the position she was in. She sat up and sighed. “Alright, go get your swim suit.” She smiled at him and while he did, she nibbled on some chips. After he was ready, both of them walked to Hayley’s house which was just down the street. “So, you like pools huh? I think you’ll like mine. My dad went a little bit over board with it.” She said before opening the front door and walking in. “Just go through there and the back doors’ll be on your right. I’ll meet you there.” Hayley went upstairs and changed into a bikini top that revealed slightly more skin. She wrapped a towel around herself and went downstairs to go out to the back. “You ready?” A smile on her face as she casually took off the towel and placing it on the lounge chair.

After quickly changing and heading to her house, Rickey nodded and followed her directions as he made his way to the pool and he was certainly shocked by how… amazing the pool was. “Wow, this is fuckin’ rad,” he chuckled, taking out his phone and recording the pool on Snapchat. Lying on one of the lounge chairs with his sunglasses, he looked up and saw her as she placed the towel down. Jesus Christ, was his first thought. How is she only fourteen? “That bikini fits you great, just saying.” Rickey stood up and placed his sunglasses down, moving over to Hayley and grabbing her around the waist. “Sorry!” he chuckled as he jumped into the water with her.

I think I’ve tried a spiked watermelon before… I don’t really keep track of what I’m consuming as long as it has alcohol in it.
