Biography

Hayley always was interested in art from a young age. She grew up taking art classes through every year in school, and even some classes outside of school. While she can paint, draw and sketch she really fell in love with sculpture as she grew older. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina she decided to go to North Carolina State University in Raleigh to pursue her art career. 

While she was at college, she met her ex boyfriend. He was studying to become a screenwriter after school and Hayley fell hard for him. They met at a play on campus and they grabbed some drinks after. It wasn’t long before they were dating and Hayley was in love. When school was over he had talked a lot of moving to California to LA to pursue his dreams of being a screenwriter. She decided she could be a sculptor anywhere and decided to move with him.

About a few months after their move here, she went to visit him at work one day. She walked in on him sleeping with a wannabe actress who thought she could further both of their careers. Hayley lost it and threw a big scene, she broke up with him right then, drove back to their house and took some of his clothes, scripts and belongings into the backyard and set them on fire in a trash can. 

Hayley moved out and found some roommates in a house on Redcliff Street. She decided not to leave LA because fuck her ex, she wasn’t about to let him chase her out of a city she was starting to like. She found a small, local gallery to sell some of her pieces, but the money wasn’t enough to pay her bills. A friend of hers told her about escorting and how much money she could make.

Soon after she got a job with an escort agency to help make up some of her income. She grew to like the work and now her pieces are selling better but she keeps working as a non-sexual escort because she likes the money, and she loves the events and dates she gets taken to. Hayley loves how sometimes she can pretend to be a completely different person, and she loves that there are never any emotional strings. Brandon had lugged in a considerable piece of utter junk into the studio— though, it was something he knew Hayley could probably make use of ( hence him texting her a picture earlier on in the day ). It wasn’t anything remarkable, just a large slate of steel. “So, yeah, I found this in the back alley behind the shop— I dunno who was tossing it, but, yeah, here you go. Make something cool outta it.” 

“Every whiskey that you’re drinkin’ you’ll be thinkin’ how I burn like that. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nah it’s me in your dreams. Or maybe call ‘em nightmares. Yeah, I’ma, I’ma have the last laugh.” Hayley sang off key at the top of her lungs when the door opened and Brandon was struggling to bring in the giant slab of steel that he had texted her earlier. “Alexa! Volume down!” Hayley yelled at the speaker blasting the music and the studio was suddenly much more quiet. “You’re the best!” She left the pile of string and threads she was weaving on the large table and ran over to him, trying to help him as best as she could. “It’s amazing, much better than it looked in the photo.” The artist was leaning all over the steel to see the state it was in, and it was honestly in much better shape than she had been expecting.

“No see, my opinion on the matter is people that say money can’t buy happiness, have never had enough money to make them happy. Sure you can be ok poor but…money makes everything easier and those that say it doesn’t are lying.”

“Right, but you know how that saying got started originally?” Hayley asked, leaning back and giving him a look of annoyance but mixed with a smirk. “It started to actually be geared towards the rich, to say hey you can have all this money but money can’t buy you happiness. But then they started doing all these studies on it and they figured out that money can buy you happiness, well to a certain point. I forget how much it is, but like it’s enough to comfortably pay all your bills and still have extra over but not too much you are happier than those without enough money. But then it started being transformed to be used by the rich now towards the poor to be like you don’t need money to be happy. It’s just used to try and keep the poor in that status and to tell them to shut up and stop complaining and be happy with what little you have. It’s a messed up saying how much it’s gotten twisted around.”
