âTea it is then, Mr. Choromatsu Matsuno.â Was that a spark of cheekiness from her end when she acknowledged him? Miss Hatter had known far better than most, just like all the residents in Central Apartments, that six-same faces inhabited the same abode, but, their demeanors varied tremendously between each color that came out of there. Yet, to break the habit of formalities had been something that couldnât be compromised on the spot, especially if her thoughts were taking particular care of the meter-high roll within her arms. Another time, maybe sheâd dabble in meddling when calling out âMatsunoâ down the hall when spotting more than two of the sextuplets together. But, now wasnât the exact time for childishness.Â
Once more, the brunette returned in her waddling state to resort the scattered items across her workspace. As she taken herself to the far left to the backroom, she slowly slid down the roll onto its bottom and shoved it into place with the hit of her hip. The dulling pain of age (and bad carrying practices since she was a child) were already returning towards the top of her tailbone. âShââ A pathetic utterance of pain escaped, followed by her wincing. Though, with the grace that is having herself turned away, she hoped that the sudden twitch in body language hadnât sent off any triggers to her customer.Â
Forcing her arms up into the air, to stretch, she hummed to herself and returned to her straightened posture. However, the reminder of food came into her attention, especially as she glossed over her shoulder to find that he had indeed brought over extras. In all the politeness that composed Miss Hatter throughout her time in the workshop, and for most of her life, she simply smiled at the offer. Though, her hands softly waved away the suggestion â even if her stomach was rather emptier than usual.
âI very much appreciate it, but, I canât,â Sophie explained, nodding her head, eyes looking away in the moment. âIt is your food, after all, and needing to feed a family of six means you should keep all the food you can.â She returned to glancing over her objects, but, comments: âif youâre needing to eat, by all means, feel free to do so while I make your tea.âÂ
âActually, hold on,â Sophie gently raised her hand, excusing herself, as she walked towards the doorway and peeked her head out. As the braid of silver and brown moved over her shoulder, it was noted that she was gesturing towards someone in the main room. Several heavy footsteps later, and a small conversation with inaudible questions and âmhmsâ between, she had returned her attention back to Choromatsu.
âMr. Simmons would be able to start boiling some water on a kettle. What kind of tea would you be interested in? I happen to have some Yorkshire brew from back home, Black tea, Green teaâŚ? While thatâs on its way, we can discuss your idea.âÂ
Choromatsu only sighed in response to her cheekiness. Well thereâs not much he can do but allow her to have her fun. He doesnât handle women rather well, not what his childhood friend puts him through. Female idols are also something that affected his communication towards females too. Small talk were just better around them at this point. Unless it was business, then it was different. Something that he can easily do around Sophie.
He had his gaze down and mind preoccupied with things; things that involved in his cosplay, to notice what exactly Sophie was doing or what was doing on. He only looked up when she addressed to him. âOh uh, no no its fine. Majority of us are working so food isnât really a problem.â He had to make sure to drill in how important saving is towards certain people (Osomatsu) or heâll kick them out the house and make them homeless. Make them starve and suffer without food. The threat worked rather well with all of them to be honest.
âSo please.â He smiles, placing the bento onto the table, making sure it doesnât ruin anything that it could sit on. âIâve already had my meal and so have my brothers.â He blinked however when she told him to wait a bit. He tilts his head, curious a bit but knows well enough to not poke his nose in it.
âGreen tea is fine with me.â He opens the folder and he pulls out a photo, its a picture of Chun-Li but in a different outfit and style. âRight, its this one. Iâve been getting requests from my followers that they wish for me to do this version of Chun-Li, as Iâve done many versions of her outfits before. Apparently this isnât exactly in the game but rather inspired by a music video from an American Rapper.â He points to certain items on her like the one on her wrist and the earrings âThose I can hand craft myself. As for the deadline, please do take the time you need. Iâm in no hurry for when this needs to be finished.â After all, the person who takes his pictures is Karamatsu.
