“Inevitable war.” Icarus sneers. “I’m going to make sure my sister stays safe. As for the people who don’t want to be part of the war, they’re going to have a rude awakening sooner or later.”

Hayley was quietened by his words for a moment. The more and more people talked about the war, the more she knew she had to accept it was going to happen. “I guess I’m just trying to put off having to choose a ‘side’...can’t exactly stay neutral forever.” She murmured.

“It’s a fucking war, princess. Military training would do everyone far more good than some stupid ball.”

“Impending war” Hayley corrected, “And besides, no one said you had to go. Perhaps the people who don’t want to get involved with the ‘war’ might just be able to enjoy themselves for a night?” She asked, lips pursed.

“Putting everyone in a fucking mask doesn’t take away the problem.” Icarus grumbles as her crumples one of the flyers for the ball before tossing it aside.

“It might just make everyone forget about it for the night...that’s what I thought the point of it was, considering we’re at school not a military training camp.”

“It has stopped me when your brother goes on like your his pride and joy…and oh fuck… He gulped, feeling flushed but then he smirked at the girls eagerness. “…You’re right…He’s gone for a bit..” And his lips attached on Hayley’s, overlapping hers as he slammed her into a wall, sliding a hand onto her thigh lifting it up as he deepened the kiss.

Hayley let her self relax into him for a moment, kissing him just as forcefully as he was her. She smirked as she pulled back for air, an arm draped loosely around his neck. “Wondered how long that’d take me. Either way, now I’ve got you warmed up, I’ll meet you in your room at say...11?” She ducked underneath his arm, planting a peck on his cheek. “I’m off to find out where Charlie’s skived off to. Feel free to finish the desk, or lock my door behind you if you need to...sort yourself out...” Hayley giggled, biting her lip gently as she skipped out the door and down the corridor.

“Yes he’ll knock and my pants will be down and—” As she started kissing his neck, he gulped harshly. “We really can’t…Do this…..-” He murmured softly as he licked his lips. “He will kill me do you not realize? You’re his little sister….And youre so good at this…but we can’t..” But he didn’t push her away only encouraged/

“No. You will get a contract. I’ll make sure of it” He stroked her arm as he stepped closer towards her.

“Ever heard of a lock?” She smiled, raising an eyebrow as she turned his head in an indication to get him to turn around. “Come on, when has me being his little sister ever stopped you before, George?” She slid a hand steadily down his chest to the top of his jeans, slipping two fingers just behind the hem and leaving them there.

“I really think we can” She murmured, lips millimetres from his.

“STOP. Hayley..God do you want your brother to cut my dick off?” George murmured. 

“We would be the director and the writer…and you well would be our wonderful actress–But I know you’re a model.”

Hayley chuckled at his comment, keeping her mouth just by his ear, murmuring “I’m not saying now...he’s not gonna burst into your room without warning this evening is he.” She paused, kissing up his neck softly, “Although the risk of getting caught now is appealing.”

She scoffed at his statement, “Wannabe model more like, more chance of pigs flying than me ever getting a contract the way things are going at the moment.”

“You know you’re making it worse? He would hate me forever. I can’t lose him Hayley..even though you’re bloody hot..and it’s hard to not stare at you for so long.” George sniffed as he walked over to the other side.

“Honestly…He want to be this massive CEO. But I like plays, and I like drugs, and I like directing. So as soon as I direct a big play, get loads of money I can get out of this shit hole.”

She stood up, resting her hands on his shoulders to balance as she stood on her tiptoes, trying to get a glimpse of the manual over his shoulder. “I aim to please, George” Hayley murmured, breath hot on his neck. 

“Well if Charlie ever managed to get his big break writing ‘em then I’m sure you two would be unstoppable.” She giggled, waiting to see his reaction to her suggestion.

“I am not risking your brother walking in–and…Fuck it should be hots for the little sister…Uh I ned instructions.” He pushed past her as he grabbed the piece of paper. “You’d be the one getting slaughtered if Charlie ever found out about our..you know meetings.”

“It’s a downgrade for me. But only a place to sleep you know? I’ll be back with my dad in no time. Course he is. Annoyed that his perfect son isn’t a scholar but life goes on.”

“That’s what makes it all the more exciting, what’s happened to you and your sense of fun” Hayley bit her lip with a grin as she watched him get more and more flustered. “Yep yep, they’re over there on the bed.” She pointed, perching herself down on the floor next to the soon to be fixed desk. “George, come on now, you and I both know you’d be the one he’d go mad at. Even if he was annoyed with me, I highly doubt he’d punch me or something. You on the other hand...”She paused, watching his facial expressions.

“He’ll come round, they always do. Look at what a fuck up it looked like Tom was gonna be, I think he’s dad’s favorite now. You’ve just gotta show him you’ve changed - or at least make him believe you’ve changed.” She raised an eyebrow, referring to George’s drug usage.

“And what do I get if I do give you a hand?”

“It’s not a downgrade. It’s a place to say. You’re basically degrading yourself and your brother at this point saying that. He hasn’t stopped funding me..he’s just..annoyed at how I avent got into college. I blame Charlie..and well cocaine.”

“Well that depends on how much of a hand you’re willing to lend, George.” She smirked slightly, closing the gap between them. “Charlie shouldn’t be too long...but if you wanted to stick around and help me sort some of my other stuff out after...I’m sure Charlie’s still got his own stuff to unpack.”

“Well it’s not downgrading for me or him...had a run in with some diva wannabe earlier though who made it sound like a prison cell. I know what your place back home was like anyway. Kinda guessed for some people it would be a downgrade. He’s still annoyed about that? I guess it was his money you were spending on it though, I’d have been pretty pissed if I were him.”

“I’m just smarter then you–which is the case for well everybody. Honestly I thought you’d be able to cope without dear mummy on your case. Well it hass to keep that way–his simple mind couldn’t take it.”

“I know I’m not the sharpest tool in the box but I wouldn’t say everyone is smarter than me Ainsworth. And I am!...nearly...I just can’t get all the pieces to slot together and Charlie said he’d help me but I don’t know where he’s gone to so I’m just stuck with a load of pieces of white plastic in my room. So if you wouldn’t mind giving me a hand, considering you’re here...”

“Speaking of which, surely you’ve not downgraded yourself to a room here have you? Or has daddy stopped funding you now?”

“Well if it isn’t Mr Smartass here to show me up. Think you could use your brain ‘dear George’ and could help me set this desk up rather than taking the mick? But come on now, I think it’s better Charlie doesn’t read between the lines sometimes.”
