You compromise for the ones you love, you want to share moments together, even if the event isn't of interest to you. You learn to love the things they love, and you see a different side to things because of them. Life goes on, and you slowly start to adapt to certain things for the one you love. But is it worth it in the end? Or should you remain firm in your ways of life, or is it even life at this point? Are we meant to live to please ourselves, or are we meant to find a balance and tolerate someone to join us on this journey of life? Which is better? I know my questions seem like a lot, but I do wonder at times if we are meant to live and learn to continue to love others during our changes throughout the years, or are we meant to be more selfish and focus on living for ourselves only? We go through many phases throughout life, and we tend to change ourselves throughout them, but can we accept the changes of others, even if we don't like the way they've become? Or is it okay to let go and find what brings you peace in order for you to have a calm life?
