Hazel Capulus' Pokemon Adventure in Hoenn.

Success - One

So, I beat Roxanne. I like her gym, the fossils are pretty cool.

But that's not the biggest thing to happen. I put some pokemon away before starting the forest, so I only had Pyre and Matchstick with me. Matchstick evolved halfway through the forest, into a combusken.

But, right after that, I came across this scientist weirdo being harassed by some dude in red clothes. Said he needed some parts from the scientist, and hell, I was about to grab them for him when he shoved me.

Don't shove me. I kicked him in the stomach, punched him in the mouth, then gave him a jab to the crotch to be sure. While he crawled away the scientist thanked me and gave me some weird thing he said would help train my pokemon before running off. It looked useless, I tossed it into the bushes.

Anyway. I went on ahead into town, and beat the gym leader. Got the first badge of this region.

Yay me.

Also, I guess this is a good time to tell you about the challenge Holly set for me.

I need to beat all eight gym leaders. No time limit, but I can't leave Hoenn until I do. Once I do that, I can leave and never come back, if I want. However, if I quit, I have to get 'Quitter' tattooed on my ass.

The twist, though, is that if I choose to go on and battle, then defeat the Elite Four, Holly gets 'Loser' tattooed on hers. And what good sister would pass that up?

Anyway, I'll keep heading north and see what happens when I get there.

Growth

Journal. Damn, I'd forgotten all about you. Whatever.

I've gotten more pokemon since we last talked. I went and found Brendan, and I guess he isn't that bad. Just kind of annoying. Whatever. I went back to the professor, and he gave me a Pokedex? Weird. But hey, he gave it to me to fill up, and I'll be damned if I don't. I love pokemon, so this is a way to meet more.

Some twat said we're both trainers, so I can't say no to a battle. I didn't, because fuck him, and I beat him. Dick.

I battled a few more trainers along the way. Damn Holly, I hate hurting Pokemon. But it isn't that bad, I guess, they don't seem too seriously injured. Anyway, I ended up in Petalburg, and met the gym leader. Turns out he knows my uncle, and wants to battle me once I'm stronger. I guess that's fine, I would have anyway.

I moved on, and caught some pokemon, now I have a full team.

And I'm about to tackle this forest. I'll write in you again once I've beaten the gym leader, Roxanne. Probably. I dunno when, we'll see for sure.

Arrival

Journal.

So, I arrived. Hours of bumpy-ass travel in a dark, cold truck with shit falling on me. Never again, next time I walk, and damn the consequence.

So, I got there, and whoop-de-doo, I got a clock to celebrate my arrival. Amazing. But whatever, I set the time and had a look around my room. I’ll admit the giant lapras plush is cute. Uncle was nowhere to be seen, but my aunt was watching the TV when I came down, drooling over the leader of Petalburg gym. She said I should find the professor, that his son lived nearby.

"Oh, I were expecting you to be a guy! Weh weh!" He said.

Side note: Punch this bitchface in his bitch face.

Anyway, I heard the professor was out up north, so I went looking and found him being attacked by a poochyena. Son of a bitch. Anyway, I grabbed a pokeball from his bag and helped him out, and he gave me the Torchic for some reason?

Whatever. It’s cute, I named her after Pyre’s sister. Maybe I’ll come across him while I’m here. I need to go find Bitchface but, I’m going to go home and get a snack first.

The Beginning of an Adventure

Journal. I don’t like you, you don’t like me. I don’t want to do this. And I’m probably going to fill you with swearing and other meaningless bullshit.

Anyway. Holly talked me into taking the challenge, the trainer challenge to beat the elite four. I’ve left my pokemon with her, and I’m going to go and stay with a relative in Hoenn for a week to settle in. Then I’m going to see the professor, and get a pokemon, and start this shit. I hate doing this, but fuck it. Holly challenged me, and by Arceus I’m going to do it. A lot of people do it, why not me? I’m going to beat the elite four, build a hell of a team, and have a good damn time in the process. I’ll write in you once I’ve arrived and got my pokemon.
