Avery & Hazel // The Date
Avery shivered at Hazel’s suggestive comment, snatching the girls hand away. “Impatient, impatient… Only one more minute.” She promised. Nodding to the guy standing next to them, Avery turned to wrap her arms firmly around Hazel’s waist, however, not before she had positioned the girl to do the same. Clutching tightly, she sneaked a quick peck on the cheek before the guys around them got to work.
They hooked the girls together and then attached a bungie rope to their feet. “On the count of three I’m going to take your blindfold off, but you have to promise me not to freak out. If I took this whole adventure thing to far, I want you to tell me straight away. Don’t feel pressurized to do anything you don’t want and don’t worry about hurting my feelings. I want you to trust me and feel comfortable around me.” Avery explained, looking sideways to see they had been positioned an inch away from the edge of the bridge, ready to bungie jump off.
Hazel's smirk weared off, her hand falling to her side after it had been pushed away by Avery. Admittingly, it had been a low shot of her but she thought she could try it out. Boundaries were for civil people, and she was far from civil-- especially if her patience was wearing thin. Pressing her hands against Avery's waist, after being positioned that way, she let out a sigh of relief. As if she knew the answer would soon appear in front of her eyes.
"I promise Avery," she spoke with a smile laced on her lips after the long speech. "I'm not sure whether I trust you or not but I have a pretty good guess what you've dragged me into and I'm up for it, trust me." Hazel's head bobbed along as she spoke as if she were nodding encouraging to support her own words. If she hadn't been comfortable, she would've spoken up a while ago and even if she could guess, by what the men around them had been doing to the girls, she knew it would be something fun and how could she pass up on that?
