Victor gave her a quizzical gaze and tilted his head to the side. He had barely spoken to his sister when he moved here and whenever they did talk their conversation seemed force. He released an annoyed sigh and nodded. “Let’s go then,” Victor said, leaning against her car. “Make it quick.” He knew that by the time the sun went down there would be others lurking in the woods which he didn’t feel the need to get himself involved in.
She rolled her eyes at him, slowly feeling herself get more annoyed with her brother. “Fine, get in,” she ordered as she unlocked the car, slipping into the driver’s side of the vehicle and starting the engine. “When was the last time you shifted?”
