Abraxos Phantom/Aki-the-Shiftless on AO3 [Asks are Open] | Some NSFW should be expected, but in writing. You'll know when you see it. Act accordingly. | 《Current WIP: TianMing (TLJ/MF): New Growth; The Tianlang Clan's Teachings on Secondary Forests 》
//squints// I THINK there's enough of you guys visiting here now to say this- so, while I'm trying to figure out some stuff about New Growth and also trying to put in some work into my other wip (different fandom, but I haven't really been to sit down and write some stuff because of some transition headaches from my access to Microsoft Word ending)
So officially, I'm making my Asks open for prompts to fill my writing itch/braining itch. It's my first time really putting some thought into this something like this so hopefully I'm doing this coherently.
So, the Ask Rules are as follows:
Must contain any version of Ming Fan I've written, this includes SDA!MF, IR!MF, and NG!MF or a general Ming Fan that I usually play with in my musings, but those 3 will be tagged based on short-hand tags. Friendly reminder that these refer to: Scum Disciples Adventures Into the Unknown World [SDA], Incident Report [IR], and New Growth [NG].
Answers will either be in drabble format or somewhat in a discussion-like format like you've seen me write before
NSFW is allowed, I don't mind doing it, though it just might take me a little while; these will be tagged and I'll do my best to make it so that they're easy to view for those who want to read it.
Most ship content is allowed! As long as I know the characters enough (TGCF is tentatively allowed but I'm not as familiar with it as MDZS & SVSSS so forgive me if I have no idea) that means yes- it doesn't have to be Tianming/Tianfan, though I'd actually be high-key surprised if I ever get my sweet sweet accidental other ship of Mingming (NMJ/MF)
Don't give me a ship that separates the main MXTX pairings of LBH/SY; MBJ/XF; LWJ/WWX; and HC/XL. (This does technically mean I'll take it if the ship-pair want Ming Fan as a third.) This is not because I don't like the ship, it's just cus my brain won't really be able to wrap itself around that concept and I don't wanna give bad food. Ship and let ship.
Don't be a dick, if I see a troll ask I'mma just delete it and move on. I'm old, so I follow DLDR But tbh I also don't see this happening, it's just here as future proofing.
If there's somehow a flood of asks (I honestly don't think there will be) I'll do my best to work through all of them in a timely-ish fashion
This is all in good fun so hopefully this is the case for both you [reader] and me. Rules are subject to change by me φ(* ̄0 ̄)
Seeing the sacred texts reminded me of the Florist/Tattoo Shop AU and now I just got mentally blasted with Florist!Tianlang-jun x Tattoo Parlor Receptionist!Ming Fan.
Now I'm being specific about Ming Fan being a receptionist rather than being one of the artists because it would be incredibly funny to me if Filling-In-For-a-Friend Ming Fan gets flirted with by Dilf Florist Tianlang-jun leading to some very strong implications about Tianlang-jun wanting to get tatted by Ming Fan.
Ming Fan does not know how to tattoo, art and drawing is a hobby so he can do some consultation and make rough sketches but he does not tattoo. He's filling in as the parlor's receptionist because the parlor is technically Ning Yingying's and she's booked to her eyeballs and can't be both reception and working artist at the same time. I'm divided on making Luo Binghe an artist working his first job at Ning Yingying's parlor or being one of Tianlang-jun's employees.
And Ming Fan is very much in a crisis of consciousness in correcting Tianlang-jun's assumption that he can book Ming Fan for his first tattoo.
He Does Not correct it because the flirting was too much… mf was too busy bluescreening.
He ends up learning how to do tattoos in like a week max and the tattoo turns out crooked, mf is extremely embarrassed but tlj loves it (he also loves to tease mf with it)
LMAO i even think there could be a moment as Ming Fan made a SINGLE damn line or dot before he cracks and confesses because he's terrified and has committed the ill-advised choice of going down an internet rabbit hole of possible horrors that can occur from an improperly done tattoo (which would be hysterically hilarious if Tianlang-jun had a piercing or smth (he seems like he'd be the type in a modern au) and in fact, did it himself with a needle, a lighter, and freewill.
Ning Yingyin was trying to wingwoman him so she personally took the time out of her day to teach him and make sure she and her girlfriends are watching the free Live Action Drama happening in her shop frfr. So she knows that Ming Fan is just being paranoid but it's incredibly funny because...Ming Fan was a pre-med before he switched majors. He's got the steadiest hands that could've been a surgeon's if it wasn't for the fact that Ming Fan was so burnt out from nonstop academics that he could've passed for a piece of charcoal.
The lines are however, still crooked and Ming Fan wants to screech and despair as Tianlang-jun laughs and needles him to keep going.

ning yingying and luo binghe are having a lot of fun teasing their ming-ge.
for anyone curious, the former emperor and the frog is still in progress… but as soon as I am finished with maintenance i will begin posting chapters! so expect to see it within the next few weeks.
I passed a flower shop next to a tattoo shop and at first I laughed because I thought it was ironic and then i freaked because IMAGINE YOUR OTP IN A FLORIST/TATTOO ARTIST AU
I cannot BELIEVE a post I made when I was 13 is circulating! And also apparently started this trope? I thought somebody had the idea separately and it blew up that way😭
-Like doing some writing stuff when my birthday comes around but I was a little too busy between New Growth and pokopia update (I locked the fuck in it was so funny, since it update the day before my birthday so I was sleep deprived af) so instead I'll just post some of my Removed Sections from New Growth!
When I write I like to do stream of consciousness style while following a little bit of outlining framework which usually means that sometimes I'll be unsatisfied with something that I wrote, but instead of deleting them outright I usually just cut the text out and save them elsewhere for both memories and just in case I can pull from the section at a later date/rework it to fit. So here's some of stuff that was removed up to chapter 7! These are all organized by chapters btw.
Be warned that there are spoilers to the Tianlang-jun/Ming Fan fic New Growth; The Tianlang Clan's Teachings on Secondary Forests if you haven't read it, contained bellow and as it is an Explicit rated fic, some of these texts might be NSFW. Reader's discretion is advised; and there will be some parts that seem familiar because I likely reworked it back into the main story. Hope this is fun to skim through!
CHAPTER TWO
His thoughts lingered on how quickly the human obeyed his orders, theorizing a hyper-sensitivity to authority. To recognition from that authority. Tianlang-jun may not be a peak lord, but he had notoriety and infamy plentiful enough to induce a feeling of being chosen. Made special for claiming his attention.
The apparent instability in cultivation was the most certain way into the human's head; Tianlang-jun could offer the wealth of his knowledge as a lure. Their soulmate bond, even in its current state, was a guarantee of interest in some way so long as Tianlang-jun fed him just enough. Depending on how educated he was, his blood had the opportunity to make him weaker to his manipulations; easy enough to induce by dangling a solution to his cultivation problem in front of him.
CHAPTER FOUR
"Being easy to pull off isn't the same as being easy to do is it?" Her voice echoed in his ear, curling into a soft laugh that made his chest sting painfully.
CHAPTER FIVE
"I've elected to ignore your prior churlish reaction to my gift in sensitivity to your position of head disciple" Tianlang-jun began, taking relish in his new freedom to fully articulate himself to exacting measures as much as he likes now that the guise of mere apothecary was over.
Better still, Ming Fan's shoulders raised to his ears now that noble decorum was forcibly pulled to the table.
"It's now apparent that such political interests were the furthest thing in mind" Tianlang-jun continued
CHAPTER SIX
Tianlang-jun groaned as Ming Fan's teeth cut into his lip deep enough to bleed, his blood dripping between them as the demon pressed forward for control. His fingers dragged down the length of Ming Fan's tightly wound uniform, wrapping under the soothing wealth of flesh that swelled into Ming Fan's peach bottom.
"Shuan-ge, Shuan-ge" Ming Fan whimpered, rocking his hips up against Tianlang-jun's length. Frantic and bordering whorish with desperation as the muscle of thighs flexed under the demon's fingers.
"Not that" Tianlang-jun whispered hoarsely, he willed the blood now within Ming Fan to burn. To ache just as much as he did as sucked new bruises atop the old around his throat "The other one."
"Junshang." Ming Fan panted.
"Yes." Tianlang-jun desperately clung to above the aching hunger threatening to drown him, his knuckles turning white as he couldn't help but squeeze less he take and take and take."Tiánxīn, Àirén, A-Fan. My good, sweet boy. Tell me what you want- I'll give it to you. Anything you want, just tell me. Be a good boy and move those lips for me so that Junshang can give you what you want."
Ming Fan whined, this ears burning bright cinnabar red as his fingers sunk into Tianlang-jun's scalp and clenched.
"Come on, tell me A-Fan," Tianlang-jun whispered, dragging his tongue up his human's chin. Kissing up his jaw so he could whisper into Ming Fan's ear and feel that heat press against his lips. Rocking his hips to meet Ming Fan's desperate thrusts. "Is this what A-Fan wants? Does he want Junshang to make love to you here in the forest?"
"Inside-" Ming Fan gasped, rutting their hips together like two beasts in heat.
Ming Fan whined, locking his leg over Tianlang-jun's back before bucking harder in answer, grinding their hips together roughly without regard to answering the demon's simple question.
"–Shit" Tianlang-jun moaned in surprise.
Ming Fan shuddered, panting as he tried to wiggle out of Tianlang-jun's hold to twist them over all in the effort of refusing to give voice to his lewd desires. As if he was moreso willing to indulge crass obscenity over admitting any sort of lascivious want.
"You are such a brat." He groaned, pressing a kiss to Ming Fan's ear before driving his tongue inside the more sensitive cavern, light punishment for Ming Fan's continued disobedience while he held him still by his hips. "You want to keep quiet? Fine, then I get to do what I want."
Tianlang-jun sucked obscenely on Ming Fan's ear, making sure the little shit would feel ever drip of spit as parted Ming Fan's outer robes. Being careful with the talisman-inlaid within the threads before he curled his hand around Ming Fan's inner robe and promptly tore it off.
"I get to talk how I want too" Tianlang-jun murmured, kissing just under Ming Fan's now saliva drenched ear. The soft skin tinged hot and flush as Ming Fan squirmed underneath him. "You taste so good Sweetheart."
Tianlang-jun felt more keenly Ming Fan shuddering under him, wiggling as his ears burned and his face finally, finally began to flush right along the apples of his cheeks. Barely there, but there nonetheless.
"That–!" Ming Fan whined, tugging at Tianlang-jun's hair. Cherry red with his face pressed into a pout on the edge of tears. "Just my name–!"
"Hmmm, no." Tianlang-jun bit hard at the soft meat between Ming Fan's exposed neck and shoulder, sucking a deep bruise into the skin before dragging his lips across the human's neck. Shamelessly kissing and licking and biting every single fucking inch.
"Sweetheart was being naughty." He murrmured against Ming Fan's skin. "A little whiny, pathetic, little brat who didn't answer his Junshang when he asked, so I get to do whatever I want and he's just going to have to be a good boy and take it."
Tianlang-jun felt Ming Fan's cock jump under his trousers, making him coo. Fully intending on brutally abusing the privileges the little shit had unwittingly granted to him without remorse.
"Baobei you really don't eat enough" Tianlang-jun groaned, pressing his palms to Ming Fan's chest and squeezing. Massaging and pushing around what little pectoral muscles there were. "All of it went into your fat rear and thighs, there's no more left for your poor breasts."
Ming Fan face burned as he squirmed, the heat hot enough to feel even as Tianlang-jun just leaned inches away. "Stop- stop talking-"
Tianlang-jun cut Ming Fan off by forcing a soft squeak as his fingers pinched and tugged at dusky brown nipples, groaning softly under Ming Fan's chin as he scraped his nail across the soft skin of his areolas. Ming Fan squirmed beneath him, reaching to grasp Tianlang-jun's wrists tightly as he writhed helplessly on the grass.
Tianlang-jun chuckled, nuzzling his human's jugular with little butterfly kisses that slowly pressed down and down until the demon's face was level with his hands. "I'll be so sad if you're never be able to fill out that cute hanfu you got from Xiao-Fei Sweetheart. You'll wear it for me won't you?"
Tianlang-jun pressed Ming Fan down into the grass as he nipped the now swollen nipple, irritated and flush from his ceaseless teasing that paid no mind as Ming Fan twisted and wiggled.
"My poor baobei" Tianlang-jun cooed, massaging Ming Fan's chest unrepentantly before he leaned up to whisper into his ear. "Too much fat on his plush bottom and not enough to spare on his tits."
He laughed as Ming Fan tried to shove at his face with a high pitched whimper.
- Ming Fan would let him, and it would be a blade that was sharpened at both ends. Ming Fan would let himself be coveted and broken and it would mean that the very thing that Tianlang-jun had treasured would dim and suffocate under his claws. Ming Fan would let him and it would break them beyond repair precisely because the tie between them would strangle them both. Tianlang-jun breaking would mean that Ming Fan was not far behind, and vice-versa.
CHAPTER SEVEN
Tianlang-jun stood in one of the various workrooms scattered throughout Shu Yu Palace, chisel in hand as he steadily carved out a shape from the wood stock. His nephew lingered nearby, having entered mere moments ago with news of their newest guest, untouched bowl in hand.
"He is…" Zhuzhi-lang said hesitantly "polite. But has refused food again."
Tianlang-jun sighed, though it wasn't exactly a surprise. Even if Ming Fan had let him use his blood to supplement the energy of Ming Fan's spiritual veins during his prolonged qi deviation; there wasn't enough left over to heal the dislocated arm. Qi deviation were already dangerous gambles to play with as a human cultivator, the most recent occurrence had only made that point all the more clear having sapped nearly all of the energy. Leaving the human with only the body's natural healing properties to remedy the dislocation, as any mundane human would contend with.
Heavenly Demon Blood could accelerate the healing, if Ming Fan allowed Tianlang-jun to feed him more that is.
For obvious reasons, there was little hope for it any time soon.
"Very well, I'll handle it." Tianlang-jun reached to take the bowl from his nephew.
The cultivator hadn't minded Zhuzhi-lang at least, and had been rather polite to him and everyone who called Shu Yu Palace home. In Tianlang-jun's absence his nephew did a significant amount of work managing the palace, coaxing back the old staff or their children who had been servants of the Tianlang Clan household. There were even some gardeners who returned and set out to work enthusiastically, leaving him with a handful of servants he could send back up to the human realm to retrieve the cuttings he had worked with as Kong Shuan. There was now staff that regularly entered to draw baths and present fresh clothes to the cultivator, since Tianlang-jun had left the room several times with his stomach smarting from a heavy kick in the stomach.
There had been some escape attempts, but once Tianlang-jun had allowed Ming Fan to reach the boundaries of the palace walls and watched as Ming Fan stiffened in place. Even as angry as his human was, there was little he can do to navigate the dense forest and natural defenses of the Tianlang Clan territories, especially without the sword he left behind in that cave.
At least he allowed Ming Fan he did, it rested in the treasury at the moment.
Tianlang-jun returned to his chambers with a heated bowl in hand, pushing open the heavy doors to his chambers with familiar ease.
Ming Fan sat stiffly in the far corner, neutral expression molding into a sneer.
Unfortunately for th human, Tianlang-jun could feel the surge of annoyance and anger blending with relief before suffocating under the weight of self-disgust. As it had always been for the past few days since Tianlang-jun had unceremoniously deposited the human into his chambers. The crimson rope between them was as thick as ever, and as heavy as the cordage that leashed horses to carriages and boats to docks. Whatever protests they still held, however spirited, were irrelevant now to the noose linking them both.
Tianlang-jun had personally tried to gnaw his off and failed, but he will not pretend that he ever tried to give it a serious attempt.
- Ming Fan should be able to eat it–
The heavenly demon's chest rumbled under the force of his snarl, the wood and stone tables creaking dangerously underneath the force of his clutch.
Three days, for three days Ming Fan has refused to eat. Tianlang-jun's efforts could be physically seen by observing the wreckage of porcelain and composting food waste in the corner; but even the meals made by the newly returned servants to Shu Yu Palace were rejected politely. Typically such circumstances were barely noteworthy, a mere tantrum to smooth over and overcome.
Except Ming Fan had just lived through a prolonged Qi Deviation and was faring no better than a non-cultivator. The human needed to eat.
-
Zuzhi-lang could only look helplessly from the open threshold into the kitchens, the place already beginning to have a complicated mix of delicious scents from new foods and stink from rotting of the dumped food. While his Uncle was gone to the Human Realm, he had spread the quiet news that the Heavenly Demon Lord of the South had returned and reclaimed Shu Yu Palace, but instead of a warm welcome there was only a group of worried servants. Quietly cleaning after the wreckage.
No one knew what to make of it, but Tianlang-jun had threatened to behead anyone who touched a hair on the human's head. The human was in his personal quarters now.
Another human Zhuzhi-lang thought resentfully, another human who would bring about his Uncle's downfall. The only family Zhuzhi-lang had, the great and powerful Heavenly Demon who made the Great Sects tremble and he was going to watch him be dragged down by another abyss damned human.
Zhuzhi-lang wanted the pest gone.
But, snake demon wasn't stupid.
He couldn't get rid of the human for his Uncle, not when he knew how much it would break him.
And so all he could do was look on helplessly as his Uncle cooked another dish to try and appease and coax the human into eating something.
"Has he spoken or tried to do anything?" Zhuzhi-lang asked quietly.
Fu Han shook her head, the chitin of her mandibles clacking together anxiously. "No, nothing after the Master caught the human attempting to escape past the palace wall into the forest."
Zhuzhi-lang restrained himself from scowling. "And has anyone had trouble with him?"
"None my lord" Fu Han's other limbs tapped nervously together. "He is…polite."
"…'polite'?"
"More than" Fu Han admits wearily after a moment "he thanks those who come to replace the bath water even if he doesn't seem to use it. Or do much of anything else. Has flustered some of the young ones a few times when he attempts to…do things in their place."
Thank you! Your very much unexpected and likely coincidental gift of excited posting The Former Emperor and the Frog certainly made it even better haha! I just inhaled that thing like I was snorting the white powdery stuff so I'll just repeat the sentiments I already expressed and say that I look forward to the next update when you get around to it!
ning yingying and luo binghe are having a lot of fun teasing their ming-ge.
for anyone curious, the former emperor and the frog is still in progress… but as soon as I am finished with maintenance i will begin posting chapters! so expect to see it within the next few weeks.
“never kill yourself” is such a funny phrase to me that i think it’s accidently started working. its like an affrimation. say ‘never kill yourself’ enough times as a joke and maybe you won’t try to kill yourself over minor inconviences anymore
That ‘comment on your a03 work’ email hits like a line of cocaine every time. unmatched dopamine increase. shoutout to everyone who leaves a comment on fics. you deserve the world
Another annoucement post. Chapter 7 of New Growth is finally up FUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i managed to drag it out of my brain lol. Enjoy

Computers are so scary what if I accidentally hit F12 in a steam game and it takes a screenshot. What if I press shift + F12 while in word and accidentally save my document 😖
If you had to learn what the F keys on your computer do through me reblogging this post, then I'm glad you did.
