I need to work

I need to get up and learn 

I need to study the craft

I need to read the books that are unread 

I need to touch the depth of my Father’s writing 

I need to learn languages .. soon - Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, French and German

I must work

I must unravel all mysteries that come my way

I must work the art of art

I must work to organize my life

I must clear the backlog on my desk

I must read the mammoth bunch of scripts that have been given

I must teach

I must teach the rules and the laws to them that no not

I must strengthen my body

I must regulate my hours

I must educate myself on the business of computers and such

I must learn to play the piano

I must learn to play the sarod

I must record that which lies pending

I must gather all music for the poetry of HRB

I must read out HRB autobiography

I must put to tune his (HRB) works

I must be made aware of his (HRB) writings and works

I must translate that for others to understand in a language they speak

I must write

I must know the art of Chartered Accountants

I must work 

I must work harder

I have to work harder

I must be aware of left over work and its consequences

I must do a great deal more 

I must learn management

I must learn to prepare for tomorrow

I must build body and mind

Happy birthday to Frankenstein creator, Mary Shelley

Happy birthday to Mary Shelley, born on this day in 1797 in London, England. Mary Shelley is best known for her horror novel Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus published in 1818, when Shelley was just 21 years old.

Frankenstein as Inspiration Guillermo Del Toro has long been fascinated by Dr. Frankenstein and his monster. He was first introduced to the story as a child, via James Whale’s 1931 Expressionist-inspired film, starring Boris Karloff as the confused and abused monster. As a teenager, del Toro read Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus, written when Shelley herself was in her late teens. The novel emphasizes the fragility and vulnerability of Frankenstein’s monster; as the creature explains to his creator in a climactic confrontation, 

“I was benevolent and good; misery made me a fiend. Make me happy, and I shall again be virtuous.” 

The story became a touchstone for the young del Toro, who identified with the monster’s outsider status. The potency of the horror genre, according to del Toro, lies in its capacity to generate “images that stay embedded in our minds so strongly.” The monster in Whale’s film is one such indelible image, attributable in large part to Jack Pierce, Universal’s chief makeup artist in the 1930s and 1940s. In designing the monster, Pierce conducted extensive research in anatomy and electrodynamics, while Karloff imbued the character with an essential humanity. 

Del Toro finds in Frankenstein an analogy to his own directorial approach. Like the monster, his films are amalgams of used, discarded, and diverse source materials, given new life and purpose. 

“I really think I was born to exist in the [horror] genre,” he has said. “I adore it. I embrace it. I enshrine it. I don’t look down upon it or frown upon it in a way that a lot of directors do. For me, it’s not a stepping stone; it’s a cathedral.”

Still in search of love

There was I enjoying my early morning dream, enjoying my valentine day with Pari. God I miss her a lot even now. It’s been more than half a year we broken up, yet her memories advances in my mind especially on great days like this. Husshh Big mess, I’m never goanna come out of it. The noisy phone belled, ruining the only good feelings I had this valentines week. It was Sarika’s message wishing me happy Valentine’s Day. “You just crushed the HAPPY out of it girl” I mumbled cursing her for messaging so early. That’s my Valentine’s Day, nothings special only memories, memories and memories.         

                Sarika, hardest puzzle I ever faced. It’s been more than four years to our relationship cum friendship. Though our relationships never worked out, we never turned strangers to each other. Yup it’s plural, I mean uncountable times we were in relationship and broken up. But neither I nor she left talking to each other. I never understood what’s in her mind, why she takes care, why she calls me even when she’s been engaged with another one’s. The affection she feels for me is the most mysterious thing I ever encountered. The very question arose every time is do we have any heavenly bonding or it’s something we still unable to understand.

                Love is a “transitive and intransitive verb to feel tender affection for somebody such as a close relative or friend, or for something such as a place, an ideal, or an animal” Defined by world’s greatest dictionary. But its more than that we all know and experienced this fact that it’s not mere tender affection. It’s something having power to change the world. Life saver as well as best way to spoil life. Love created many greats as well as destroyed many creative minds. It’s like having supernatural power in hand and our ability to use it either for constructive or destructive purposes.

                Having enough relationship experiences I concluded the fact that “Sleeping with a girl isn’t a great thing, creating deep compassion is important”. There so much reasons to depart, but if you stayed in touch for any single reason that’s the love thing. Some peoples have more found of your salary package or carrier goals rather than encouraging  you to do what you want, Whatever it may be I’m with you lifelong.  The moment you start doubting your partner is the end of your love life.

Besides the facts we shared everything. Never lied to each other even secrete things that a boy or girls can feel uncomfortable to talk. Loving may yield sometimes such complex compounds, hard to decompose.  Gratitude, compassion and fondness we share are magical. However she witnessed every twist and turns, ups and downs of my life. Yet she silently wishes my kind of boy is perfect for her and the moment she’ll meet one, she’ll marry him.  But refuses to admit she still love me. But it’s nice to have someone caring or a strong person to understand your deep feelings.

Why in spite of such great understanding we don’t make up a relationship? If she don’t love me why she cares for me this much? Why Pari left me? Why none of my relationships never work out?  These questions will always haunt me lifelong. But as somebody said “The show must go on.”

Being emotional is game of fools

It was early morning is was getting ready for the TABALA class. As Anjinkya promised me to teach. Frankly speaking I don’t have special feeling about that instrument. Despite of being a Hard Rock lover, I was going to learn this TABALA stuff only to overcome my emptiness. Yes I am at that sharp and deep turn of life, just lonely and freaked out. Where tears don’t need any proper reason to roll down through your view catching devices. you just kinda want to get lost in anything that there’s no way , your mind to recall what happened in past.

I shared those things with many of my buddies believing “MAN HALKA HO JATA HAI” strategy but the trauma continued to fuck my mind hard. So keeping in account to the fact a busy mind never have time for such nonsense, I requested Ajinkya to teach me TABALA .In life we all come up with that schizoid personality where we discover the fact that weird, annoying ,irritating, nonsense kind of tags are invented for this man only. My landlord, a retired professor never noticed him happy with his life he’s kinda troublemaker to everybody. I even thought this man enjoys being desperate.

                                Early morning this tornado thundered at me “You kept that balcony bulb ON full night. Why don’t you learn some manners and ethics instead of reading those oversized books?”

“BANG”

       What a lonely mind need than a trouble to reveal its frustration. I responded with the very energetic, aggressive tone, “I was not at balcony last night and I always turn that light off”. He replied with homogeneous tone utilizing his stored breakfast energy “you only sit there and it’s you only, who else can do stuff like this.” As soon as I opened my tiny loudspeaker to omit expletive words my mother glanced at me with scary eyes “CLEAN BOLD”

                You know only women can control mans behavior through eyes. I stopped already giving up the desire to learn tabala classes. I rushed t my regular cigarette store smoked fare enough to forget this incidence the only thing I love about today’s morning, I learn to perform Ghost inhale. It’s a kind of smoke game, we usually draw rings of smoke, but that was awesome. Overlooking newspaper I came with news headline “one third senior citizens in Britain imprecated with solitude”.

                  Analyzing the survey carried by “REDCROSS” the senior citizens are haunted with the nervous thoughts that there’s nobody to call in trouble. And in account to this fear, they always behave annoying to everyone. Even to their children’s and spouse.

                                My dad’s words cross my mind, “your only problem is your loneliness and you just don’t have that courage to face this catch-22. You just need some experience handle such tacky situations.

                We Bothe are in same conditions; just way of reveling stress is different. I smoke die hard and he screams loud and acts most irritating. But this is scary when you saw an aged full of life experiences man who achieved everything that he ever dreamt about behaving like this. What the hell happened with his experiences? What will happen to those jerks who think money is everything. Do they also become degusting personality like Him, who never feels happy although having everything in hand? In spite of all the maturity and sophistication, peoples lack the way of behaving or treating the other ones.

                  So the fact I learned from this, it’s not the experience which lead us to the better behavior but only the enculturation which lead our behaviors in  diverse ups and downs of lifespan. what do you think buddies?
