A small sigh escaped from her lips now and looked at the brunette “I’m sorry but no, I’m not actually lost, I’m just lost in my thoughts I guess” Hope says with a small shrug now, and her gaze on the other one “Besides, I’m not exactly new here” Of course not, she has been here for a while now and at first it was like a cursed but then, everything was actually perfect, this place wasn’t that bad after all.

And even if she was lost, she learned her lesson about not talking with strangers or anything like that, not like here people would know who was the Mikaelsons because a lot of people here were from another universes, something that sounds strange but nothing in her world was strange anymore.

Her very first victim. It made Katherine happy to see little lost souls like that. Of course she always wanted to change, to become a better person but what did that get her? That got her daughter taken away and people taking advantage of her. Katherine was a vampire again, she wasn’t human and she wasn’t about to act like one now. “What kind of thoughts are you having, little one?” Katherine was acting like she was interested but in reality, she didn’t care what this little girl was thinking about or what she was even doing in the city.

She studied her and for some reason, the girl looked familiar. A lot but Katherine couldn’t really put her finger on it. “You look real familiar. Have we met before?” She was curious. Before Katherine could have her fun, she wanted to make sure on who this person that she would be having her fun with was.

“ Don’t  flatter yourself, I am simply asking for the safety of the residents”  The words  spat from Stefan’s mouth in a harsh tone. The line of his lips straighten, as the aged vampire took a step closer towards the female, with a hardened glare on her. “ I have a hard time believing that,not that I care either way.” Annoyance was clear in his tone, as Stefan proceeded to speak. “ I don’t know why you do any of the things you do Katherine.I just know you conveniently showed back up in my life when I met Elena. Before you start professing the crap of love. That’s not love Katherine. I don’t know what that is but love is becoming a better person because of that individual or wanting their happiness, even if it means you are not part of it.. You love yourself and that is all” 

Stefan lifted his chin up in an impatience, as he pushed his feet back, and once more rolled his eyes at mention of Elena. “ Let’s leave her out this for once” Coiling his lips into an oval,a heavy exhale of air split from his mouth. Truthfully he didn’t want to think about Elena and her relationship with Damon. It hurt him in more ways than Stefan could describe. That pain of her choosing his brother over him stabbed at his heart like dagger. Of course Stefan was happy his brother and Elena found happiness, but that heartbreak never really went away, even when he dated Caroline it was still there. “ So just go Katherine.” 

Katherine giggled, putting her hand infront of her mouth as she did so. Stefan always had a way of making her laugh even though it was to insult her. “I’ve missed your sense of humor, Stefan. That’s one thing that I’ve always loved about being with you.” When Stefan spoke about love, Katherine remembered everything about the two of them. She remembered when he caressed her chin and told her that she looked like an angel to him and it made her fall in love all over again. Stefan was the love of her life whether he wanted to believe her or not. “And that’s exactly what I did, Stefan. For you, I let you go because of my love for you.” She got closer to him as she kept speaking, touching the side of his face. “I don’t care if you believe me or not but I never stopped loving you, Stefan. It’s always been you for me, always.”

She could see how hurt Stefan still was over Elena and Damon. She could see the hurt and pain in his eyes and Katherine didn’t want that. She actually felt guilty. But of course she wasn’t going to let him know that. “I can’t go. I just got here. What would be the fun in that?” Katherine wanted to make things a little better for him, at least for the time being. “Come on, Stefan, have some fun with me. Let’s go have a drink together. Like old times. No strings attached. But if things were to happen between the two of us, I wouldn’t say no to that either.”

cassie was wandering around the town, exploring what seemed to be her new home for the foreseeable future, when she heard what sounded a lot like her own voice drifting from down the street. she went to investigate, and spotted a girl who… looked a lot like her. “woah… cool!”

Katherine turned around and looked at the female who stood before her. What the hell was this? She knew it wasn’t Elena, and she knew it wasn’t Tatia either, so who could this have been who had the same face as her and her other two doppelgangers? “And who the hell are you? If two people having my face wasn’t enough, now there’s another nobody.”

With Stefan’s arms crossed  against his chest, his hazel hues rolled to the side at a familiar face he knew well, as much as he’d like to forget. Katherine Pierce. The magic of  the city had convinced the vampire  for months that this was his home, the only life he had ever known. All the connections he had made over the last century of his life leading to his death, had been dispersed from his mind. However, ever since the poison hit the city a couple of months prior, many memories had retuned.  and Katherine was one of them. “Well well, look who it is ; Katherine Pierce. Let me contain my excitement” The words fell hardly from the brim of his mouth, as the aged vampire  rolled his  neck over his shoulder, with his eyes rolling in annoyance. 

 “ Forgive my manners, but what the hell are you doing here”  He spat at the female again harshly.  Before turning away, Stefan  had another vision flash before him. He could see himself standing over Katherine as she laid on a better Her skin appeared to pale white. He  could see a vulnerable girl,  that seemed to have a heart, but Stefan somehow knew better.   Katherine was not what she seemed. She was different than Elena. Or maybe not, they both seemed to have annoying fixation on his brother. And just as that thought came to him,  more memories continued to resurface. Memories he didn’t want. The vampire could feel his heart aching in pain. 

If you told Katherine that the first person she would see would be the love of her life in the same city as her, she wouldn’t have believed you. She had been searching for Stefan since forever and he seemed to be the only person on her mind. But she knew that he wasn’t thinking about her, she knew that he was probably back together with her annoying as a dishwasher doppelganger Elena. And if that were the case, he would be very stupid because she had chosen Damon over him over and over again. “Stefan boo, I know you’re happy to see me. Why deny it so much?” She was being sassy as usual but this was the way that they spoke to each other. Deep down, Katherine knew that Stefan still had feelings for her even if he wanted to deny it to himself and to her. He couldn’t just forget her like that. The love that they shared, it was unforgettable.

Their conversation wasn’t starting out right but Katherine knew this was a front that Stefan put up with her because he didn’t want to get hurt again. Katherine did hurt him many years ago and if she could change it, she would have. Stefan was the person that meant the most to her and it killed her to see how much hatred he still had towards her. “For someone that doesn’t care about me, you want to know so much. I came to find you, Stefan. I came back for you.” Was she lieing or was she telling him the truth? She would let him figure out this riddle himself. “You look so sad. Did Elena once again leave you for your other half? You should have known by now that she wouldn’t be faithful to you. Especially if she said that she loved him, too.”

From vampire to human to vampire again, Katherine had been through it all. To losing her daughter to finding her again and then losing her in the worst way possible watching her die right in her arms. People thought that she was heartless, that she didn’t have a single feeling in the world but that was the furthest thing from the truth. She had feelings and that’s what made her turn into the cold heartless bitch that she was. Having your own daughter taken away from you was the hardest thing any mother could have went through. And Katherine didn’t care who thought she was cold or a bitch because being that kept her on her own two feet for as long as she had been.

Nobody knew she was alive or that she was back to being a vampire and she wanted to keep those two things to herself for as long as she could. She was in a new city, a new town, time for new beginnings. There were a couple of people that Katherine did want to see but for right now, she was all about herself and the only person that she was going to be looking out for - was Katherine Pierce. Walking along in the city in broad daylight, she decided to start some trouble. Why not? It had been so long since Katherine had any fun, now was a good time as any to start having some. “You look lost. You need someone to help guide you. You’re lucky that someone like me found you.” She didn’t know this person or what they were doing but Katherine didn’t care either.
