          DISBELIEF WAS APPARENT; the element of shock had reached the summit. Pigments of sapphire would stare wide open, right at the sight of his beloved wife. Susceptible lips had parted, ineluctably his mouth felt DRY, as his respiratory lungs paused the common act of breathing, only momentarily — giving the essence of BETRAYING him, almost. His heartbeat increased, as liquidity shaped in a single drop had just surfaced atop his forehead, now strolling down the rest of his face. All of that due to the EXCLAMATION that echoed cranial walls, reverberating the ambiance amid the walls surrounding him. And MIRACULOUSLY, he was able to profess one single word — prompting a rhetorical question.

          It took him a few moments to ACKNOWLEDGE her words. Fatherhood was something that he always wished to have, and now — Kushina would grace him with such a GIFT. To have a child of his OWN; to take care of, to guide, to protect, to love. An ideal concept in his mind that is bound to be manifested. Hence, innumerable contemplations granted his mind, offering potential scenarios that are about to transpire; all of them centered around hs FAMILY. Yes. They were about to become a complete family. Something that he was looking forward to, especially with someone like her, by his side.

          His voice would HALT between words, eventually it would CEASE for the time being. Salty liquid substance started forming in the corner of his eyes, and consequently, a drop cascaded. A second thereafter, he would raise one arm, placing the fabric of his blouze upon mien. Moving it back and forth, he would wipe away any tears that were about to escape. Expression ALTERED; exhilaration, joy, aleviation. All these emotions blended together. And it was all thanks to HER. The one that made him who he is today. And the one that completes his entirety. UZUMAKI KUSHINA. And he is eternally beholden to her.

kushina’s status as the jinchuuriki of the kyuubi is something only a select few people know. the village elders and the hokage, for example, are the only ones. sure, those with abilities to see chakra can probably tell that she’s got another source of chakra within her, but unless they recognize the kyuubi’s chakra (and kushina’s actively using it), then they may not know exactly what that is.

because of this secret, any and all missions that kushina goes on are strictly regulated. unlike other kunoichi, she is not sent on ones that may involve seduction as a tactic to gather information. (she’s too obvious to play the spy role anyway, something used as a public excuse whenever someone asks.) she also tends to dress in clothing that covers up the seal marking on her stomach, hiding that from as many people as she can.
