andrina: are u free this weekend?
missy: tinder is a bit weird all around
missy: I donât even know what compelled me to get one, honestly
missy: nice to meet you Andrina! Iâm Missy
missy: i am most definitely free this weekend, whatâs this âthingâ you speak of?
âYeah, totally. I wouldnât be offering if I did,â he reassured, nudging the basket closer toward her work space. Of course, he made sure to snatch a few fries for himself and plop them in his mouth. âI totally suck at anything having to do with romance,â he added. âI donât have a whole lot of experience on all that lovey dovey junk. Iâm a pretty good friend, though. Does that count for something?â
She abandons her pencil and trades it in for a french fry, flipping her sketch book closed with her free hand. Though she just about dropped it as he continued speaking, âLovey dovey junk?â Missy was sure she could feel her heart shattering. âYou, my good sir, need to watch a romance movie and then youâll have some knowledge.â She was no expert herself, if you counted knowledge by experience that was. Taking a bite of the fry she gave a nod, âFriendship is just as important, if not more important than romance. Iâd say platonic love is sometimes what even leads to something more romantic.â A dreamy sigh escaped her, âso, movie night?â
âI donât know a thing about relationships,â Nibs admitted, sliding into the booth with a basket of fries. âBut that sounds pretty cool. Ever thought about writing that down into a poem? It sounds pretty fancy.â Granted, most things were fairly fancy to Nibs, so perhaps he wasnât the best person to ask for input. âSpeaking of food for thought though, want some fries? You look like you could use a snack break.â
She swipes a few of her designs out of the way with her free hand so he has more room, âromantic or relationships in general? Because Iâm sure you know more than you think.â Itâs not really hard to believe, surely everyone has some knowledge hidden in their minds. âA poem?â She shakes her head, âIâm not really the best with words,â though she gives a slight nod toward the table. âIâll stick with drawing. How about you write the poem?â Thereâs an offer of food and the blonde glances from Nibs to the fries and back again. âYou donât mind?â
âI- uhâŠ..what?â Jim blinked twice- no three times over, her words hanging over him like a wake up call he had not asked for. âI meanâŠI guessâŠmaybeâŠIâm not sure what you mean though or why youâre telling me this exactlyâŠ.â It was an absolutely absurd thought for Jim to ever consider someone making him stronger in such a way, having been used to people just leaving instead. Of course Zarina came to mind though- whether he liked it or not. Maybe the two of them were sticking around each other because eventually they would help each other become better people. âI guess it might be true though. I dunno.â
A small giggle escapes her as he speaks, eyes scanning over him. âI mean, youâre there and Iâm here. I just,â a shrug rolls off of her shoulders. Sheâs not really sure why sheâs chosen him out of anyone else whoâs around. âMaybe you just seemed like you needed to hear it.â The last thing Missy wants is for him to feel caught off guard, and so she mulls it over for a minute - sketching out lines across her page. âTell me an obscure thought youâve had,â itâs more an offering of even ground than a command, but she is curious to know whatâs going on in his head.
Aurora had to stop and admire the handiwork of the girl sitting at one of the booths in Floâs place. She loved art and she loved nature, so she was mesmerised by the speed and dexterity with which she worked. Forgetting that she was hovering, she laughed a little sheepishly when the girl addressed her. âThatâs an incredibly deep and complex question,â she pondered, âbut I can see exactly what you mean. People are just like plants in that way.â Aurora nodded, looking at the girl when she glanced up from her paper. âWe need each other to thrive.â It certainly was food for thought. âYouâre very talented by the way,â she gestured to her sketch with a smile, âhow long have you been working on it, if you donât mind me asking?â
âYou do?â Thereâs genuine excitement in her voice as she hears the other agree, though she quickly pulls it back. A small sheepish smile replaces the wide grin that previously graced her face. âDo you have people like that in your life? The ones that help you grow?â Surely everyone must, right? The thought is quickly abandoned, her smile meeting her eyes finally. âOh, thank you! I mostly focus on fashion design, so my drawings tend to take the back burner,â she gives a little nod to the concept designs that are thrown around the table. âBut this one has only taken maybe two weeks altogether. Do you draw?â
Taelim had his mouth covered lightly by a checkerboard yellow and brown scarf, even inside. His stance at a glance appeared relaxed, tucked into a booth near the far back, beanie flattening his hair against his forehead and bundled up. He probably should have stayed home, since he wasnât feeling well, but Tae was incredibly stubborn, desiring to get some comfort food into his stomach before he had to get to campus then on stage for the musical he was currently a lead inâ he couldnât be sick dammit.
He has been watching Missy work in her sketch book for a little while. He probably should have stopped over and said hey, but there was a comfort in seeing her in her element. When the stranger stopped by and blocked his view of her, he waved for the waitress. âCan you send my friend Missy, the woman over there in that booth, her favorite sweet? Sheâs working hard ya know? I always worry she will get too deep into it and forget to treat herself.âÂ
It takes her a minute to convince the other of what sheâs saying. And before long theyâve wandered off, her attention slowly crawling back to her sketch as she sketches out the leaves of a plant. Figuring sheâs in the clear she starts to hum, a flowering plant starting to grow on the page - itâs only then that the waitress stops by setting a brownie down with a smile before walking away. Thereâs a protest caught in her throat - that she didnât order this but it only takes a short scan of the diner to see what she needs to see. Or a who, rather.
Gathering her things she wastes no time making her way to him, âIs this seat taken?â Though she doesnât wait for a response, assuming she already knows the answer and sliding in. Breaking the brownie in half she slides part of it towards Taelim, âalways looking out for me, arenât you?â Though she quirks an eyebrow, âwhy do you look like winter came early this year?â
Kristoff came to Floâs because he was bored, and also in dire need of some food. He was munching on a burger when he noticed the girl occupying almost one booth to herself. Well, it was really different sketches that almost filled the table in front of her. Not many would know, but Kristoff was also an artist of sorts. A well-kept secret though, but if anyone was really persistent enough, theyâd discover dozens of tapes on original songs and lute compositionsâŠand a box of polaroids of all the little ice sculptures he had done and then discarded immediately.
He slowly approached the girl, still chewing on his burger. He raised an eyebrow at what the girl immediately said at his approach though. âI didnât know Floâs could actually bring out these deep thoughts though,â he simply said, after swallowing the food in his mouth. âNice drawing, by the way,â he added, pointing to her sketch.
The corner of her mouth raises ever so slightly in a smirk. âMaybe itâs not the setting youâre in that brings out the thoughts. Maybe itâs the people. But letâs try it out, you can tell me if you have a deep thought and whether itâs influenced by Floâs or someone in here.â Thereâs a chance it might not happen, of course, but sheâs almost positive that somewhere in their conversation heâll have a profound thought - maybe just as obscure as her thought was that brought him over here. âOh! Thank you,â her gaze drops to the drawing and then back to him. âYou look like a something of an artist yourself, or am I off my game today?â
Her concept designs were spread out across half of a booth. Floâs wasnât her ideal place to work on things, but she needed somewhere to go that wasnât campus. Flipping to a different page in her sketch book she resumed her work on a picture of a desk filled with succulents and other little flowers. Left hand never leaving the page she barely batted an eye as someone approached. âYou know, people trim plants so they grow stronger. Do you think relationships are the same way? We stay with people who arenât perfect for us because theyâre trimming our weaker parts away, so eventually,â big brown eyes glanced away from her paper, âwe can be a stronger and better person than we were before.â With a head tilt she let out a laugh, âfood for thought.â
I just tried to make an intro post that started out with âstan loonaâ but tumblr just got rid of my post and went all blue so I guess I wonât try it again.
Hi Iâm Britt, Iâm here to type for Missy aka Miss Bunny. Under the cut you will find loads a few things !! But mostly headcanons, a pinterest board and how excited I am to be here.
first thing is first Iâm gonna repeat a few things in case you donât wanna go check the OOC page for whatever reason:
I live in CST, you can literally just shout âhey youâ at me if you ever forget my name -- or call whatever you come up with. As long as I can figure out youâre talking to me and not Missy weâre solid ;)
You are more than welcome to send me an IM, or ask on here or on my discord (Britt#2368) if Iâm not responding on here for whatever reason. okay now on to the real show that you all came here for!!
This is Missy
Sheâs cute, and if you donât think so sheâs gonna convince you otherwise
Will always try to charm you
She will talk your ear off about love
Really likes to draw
On that note, sheâs going to school for fashion design but all she actually wants to do is be an artist
Will likely one day slip and fall off the pedestal she worked so hard to put herself on ...but we arenât there yet
Puts herself first, cause the thought of her mother being right about her needing someone around to support her scares her to the core
Never tends to have a malicious intent in mind when stringing somebody along, thereâs still a certain naivety about her that she doesnât realize how it could be taken in a bad way (I smell a plot bunny)
uhhhh... if I think of anything big it can unfold during interactions, I suppose hahaha
hereâs her pinterest board
okay yâall Iâm super excited to be here!! If you have anything in mind or you just wanna wing it with my girl you can let me know. Iâm probably gonna post a starter soon (aka once I have an actual idea) but if you want something specific donât be afraid to ask!! thanks for readin!!
